Not very much.

1. We had to call to get a person to meet us with the key. The address shown in the reservation does not exist. 2. I do not like to be fooled. The pictures shown on their site for the place show an apartment with a bedroom and a sitting area. What we got was a 12 sq meter room with everything in it (kitchen, bathroom, couch to sit and a bed that folds out from the wall over the couch. We kept the bed open all the time because it is too much trouble to close it. 3. The center to go out to shop for food or restaurants is about 1.5 Km away (3 Km every time we go). The pictures show a beach nearby but in reality the closest beach (if you can call it a beach) is 2 Km away. The door lock is one we have never seem. We had to call the person again to tell us how to lock it. 4. There are no places to hang clothes. 5. The microwave is an old unit that we could not get it to work. And this is a very important item for people going to a place like this. 6. The day we left, was early in the morning and we had no lights on the hallway in front of our unit. I had to use the phone flashlight. 7. Considering what I was charged for this unit, I considered it extremely high. It is highway robbery because they are not truthful with the accommodation facts. 8. Do not be fooled, do not book this place. It is not good.

The location of the appartment close to the beachfront of La Flotte is quite nice with St. Martin de Ré easily reachable by bike too. The appartement even in being small was quite well equipped (including washing machine and dish washer) and very clean!

The appartments next to my appartement looked abandoned after a break-in, which gave a bad impression of the residence. The fact that the appartement is located at the ground floor allows that passers-by can directly see you sitting at the terrace.

The swimming pool was excellent - Long, clean and plenty of loungers The apartment was small but really well laid out and comfortable for the 2 of us. The kitchenette was well equipt and the hot plate/ grill supplied was perfect to cook out on the balcony. There's a huge TV which we were able to access our Netflix account on too. We love La Flotte, so location was great - a 10 min seafront walk to the port and super easy to access the rest of the island by bike which I really recommend doing. Getting to/from the apartment was also very easy as the airport bus stop is 50m from reception. The information and messages with Catherine before the stay were good too.

The lighting in the room was not good. It would have been so much better to have a side light for reading/watching tv by the sofa/bed instead of on the wall by the tv.

The complex it was situated in looks a little tired / run down At night it was very very dark in the ally leading to the door and we felt very vulnerable.. definitely needs an outside light
