Very nice! A definite do-over.
This was the best stocked home we have ever been in. It had extra life vests if needed, beach towels, an extra sleeping bag, excellent kitchen gear—even a hand held mixer. The lounge areas were very nice. Upper and lower decks. We had 2 ping pong players that went at it every evening.
Plenty of seating. No need to bring your own chairs. We loved it.
The only issue was the wifi. It only worked the first night we were there. We kept expecting it to correct itself (we are used to less-than-stellar- Spectrum at home, who’s connection is frequently interrupted, but usually corrects on its own.). We got so used to using our hot spots that we didnt realize we still had no service until day 3 of 5. Made a call to owner, who wanted to come check it, but we didn’t want the intrusion at that point. So he gave us instruction (disconnect the router, . . .), but we just kept on without it. It was no biggie. So we never found out if the usual maneuvers would have worked.

This is a great property - everything you need to enjoy the lake. The AC is cold, the beds are comfortable, the outdoor living spaces are amazing, and the home includes everything you will need for a great stay.

Lovely property inside and out. Had everything we needed. Clean, comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.
The ONLY downside is the water is very shallow so the fishing wasn’t great like we’d hoped. And there were more turtles than I have ever seen in one place that kept stealing our bait lol. So much so that we nicknamed it Turtle Cove. But we enjoyed relaxing and playing some ping pong.

We had a great time; the property was beautiful and clean and very well stocked. The master bed is extremely comfortable. The cove is as described - very calm. I would not hesitate to tie my boat off to the dock but we rented the slip and that was great too. Communication with owner was great - they were very helpful with a few questions I had about the area. We will definitely be back.

Clean and well stocked with the things you might forget. If not, HEB grocery is nearby. Our teens loved the ping pong and darts; they even walked to Dairy Queen for a treat. We loved the no wake cove for our SUPs and kayaks. House faces south, therefore it is shaded most all day! We hope our schedule allows for trip back in the future!

This was a lovely home with plenty of amenities to keep 3, active kids happy. They swam, fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, played ping pong & ran around a lovely little yard. The downstairs bunk room was where the kids wanted to sleep. It was a perfect spot for them. The upstairs portion of the house was perfect for us. The living room was well furnished and relaxing. The master bed was comfy. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, pans and utensils. Our week with the grandkids was awesome and we were able to make some wonderful memories. Thank you to the Galyens for sharing their home with us.

We have stayed here in the fall several times and always wish we could stay longer! Great space, just as advertised. Communication with the hosts is easy and timely. Plenty of activities to enjoy on and off the water, depending on the weather and your mood. An overall great retreat!

I cannot say enough good things about this property! Our family was able to rest and rejuvenate in this beautifully appointed lake house. The surroundings were just what we needed and the cove was perfect for swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. We can’t wait for our next trip! The owners were wonderful to work with, too.

We enjoyed staying at the house very much. The outdoor spaces were great! The kids played ping pong daily and also enjoyed the kayaks. We rented a boat for 2 days with no problems at all. The marina was very close by. We will definitely visit again!

We had a great stay at this property with a total of 10 guests ranging in age from 13 to 50. The property was able to accommodate our group perfectly. The house was well stocked with the essentials in the kitchen with plenty of dishes, cooking appliances, utensils, you name it. We cooked all meals but one at the house. The owner was very accommodating with our request to use their boat lift which was perfect for our 22’ wake surfing boat. When we arrived at the property, the kids decided that they wanted to rent the SUP board and canos which Mike was quick to respond to our request. The kids had a blast on the quiet cove - the water is very calm with little boat traffic. We all agreed that we would definitely like to come back to this house for another stay in the future.

Very peaceful and fun for our extended family, 2 large patios, 2 dinning areas, inside and outside, ping pong, corn hole, we added the kayaks/paddle board and close to pick up groceries.

Wonderful stay
We stayed 2 weeks at this property. It was very clean upon arrival, had everything we needed to cook, clean, maintain, and play. The no-wake cove is perfect for floating/relaxing, far enough away from the action on the main channel, yet close enough to get back into the mix when ready. Proximity to the HEB and local coffee shops made it all the better. Highly recommend this rental.

Perfect lake house getaway!
We took the grandparents and two teens with us on the stay. The lake house is located in a no wake cove which made it very enjoyable for paddle boarding and kayaking for kids (all of which owner supplied). House was very comfortable for the six of house, but it would definitely accommodate more. It was super clean, well decorated, and made you feel right at home. The owner has plenty of games, kayaks, and SUP to keep the kids busy. I highly recommend!

Great family fun
We enjoyed our few days of waterfront living. The cove was quiet and perfect for kayaking. We enjoyed the ping pong table and hanging out outside on the patio and deck. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a good mini vacation! Would stay again!

Amazing Place
This was one of our best lake trips. The house was perfect. Clean, well maintained, comfortable, with great cove off main lake. Utilized all water toys, Kiaks, paddle board, boat lift, and jet ski ramps. Perfect for family’s looking to entertain. Really loved the ping pong table and cornhole for evening games. Can’t wait to come back!!

Lake house retreat
Property and amenities were great. The house was well equipped and nicely appointed. The only thing that kept it from 5 stars was cobwebs on outside furniture and cobwebs between the windows and screens. It could have used a quick hose down between guests. That being said, we would come and do it again.

This Place is Perfect!!
My husband and I met up with all our kids and grandkids at this property. We had 10 people in the house. This house has everything! Every adult and kid were able to sleep and relax comfortably. There is plenty to do to entertain. Kids would kayak and paddleboard all day while adults relaxed in tubes in between going out on the boat. They even have tons of games when there would be brief periods of rain. The deck upstairs gets a perfect breeze so you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner outside. The kitchen has EVERYTHING (even tooth picks :)). We were able to save a lot of money by by cooking at the house and then eating out one night at the house where the Texas Chainsaw Massacre was filmed! This was a perfect place to make some great memories! Will book again for sure!

We really enjoyed our time here. In a quiet cove with quick access to the Colorado River and main body of the lake. Great layout, clean, lots of things for the family to do. Will definitely stay again.

Relaxing getaway
We had the best stay! Ping pong, BBQ’s, s’mores, sun bathing, reading, spike ball, kayaking, SUP and floating were all plentiful. There’s a little bridge close by that our boys jumped from several times and the videos were awesome! There is so much outdoor seating, both on the upstairs deck and the lower ‘carport’ that is really a huge covered patio. The house is so well equipped...I always travel with lots of my own kitchen and cooking items, and I never unpacked them. Master bed is very comfortable. I would stay again, many times over!
