We absolutely loved our weekend stay. House was lovely, clean and well stocked in the kitchen. The outdoor space was fantastic with views of the woods, a quick scenic walk to water and turkeys roam the property freely. Great choice if you prefer some relaxing down time and cooking meals in addition to being out and about. We agree with the listing that having a car is ideal, we didn’t and used the bus and Lyft which was fine but a car would be much more convenient given that this house is off the main strips. We absolutely loved our time and hope to get the chance to stay here again one day.

Great house for our family of 5. Away from the crowds and bustle of the towns, yet an easy 10 min bike ride to Oak Bluffs. A little further to Edgartown, but not bad if you don’t mind a beautiful bike ride. Relaxing back deck and chairs. Well-appointed kitchen, too! Thoroughly enjoyed the house, loved the decor!

Excellent place and comfortable for 3 couples and then one in the children’s room. Large deck, walk to water, and nicely located between Oak Bluffs and Edgartown with bike paths to both. Very clean. Stayed last year and decided to come back and would do so again.

The cottage is exactly as described in the listing in a very quiet and private neighborhood. Would definitely recommend having a car or other mode of transport as it's some ways from the nearest towns. Vineyard Haven, Oak Bluffs, Tisbury and Edgartown were all just a short drive away, so we were able to easily take advantage of everything the island has to offer.
The kitchen is very well stocked, so staying in an cooking a meal is an easy option, too. Everything was clean and the room setup worked well so everyone had a space to retreat as well as space for us to come together. We were there with a 2-year old, so had to pay attention with the spiral stairs - that would be my only caveat, but otherwise it's great for kids with plenty of space to run around, we'd come back.

We enjoyed our stay in the crisp October weather. The house is perfect for relaxing. Very well equipped kitchen. Immaculate and beautifully styled with interesting art. Location convenient to Oak Buffs, Edgartown and Vineyard Haven if you don’t feel like cooking. Spacious outdoor deck and longview down to the water.

We had a short visit to MV and chose this lovely home for our stay. It is tastefully decorated and well-appointed. Michael was a pleasure to deal with and responsive.Truly a pleasure!

Our family of four, including 2 teenagers, truly enjoyed staying in this lovely home. The house is compact and the layout of common spaces is split, with the living room area on the second floor accessed via a spiral staircase. But we we able to make great use of common spaces for lots of family meals (+guests), movie nights, puzzles/games, etc. with still plenty of space for folks to "retreat" to their own places for quiet and privacy.
The house itself is so tastefully and artfully decorated, and OMG is it well equipped. Fully (and I mean FULLY) stocked kitchen, smart TVs in all the right places, huge outdoor deck area, plenty of beach, picnic & entertaining equipment. We could have left 1/3 of what we packed and still have been so well set for the week stay. Owner was always readily accessible for any last minute questions.

Beautiful home in the trees. This home is well appointed with beautiful decor and amenities. There were 5 women and we each had space to spread out. Be advised that the spiral stairwell leading to the 2nd and 3rd floor can be tricky to manage with luggage. Communication with the owner/manager was always pleasant and prompt. Overall, I highly recommend this home.

My boyfriend and I are our two friends come over every year on motorcycles for a day trip to the Vineyard. This year we were able to stay here! It was so amazing and was our first time staying over there. It was conveniently located to everything, and easy to access even on a motorcycle! We ate all of our meals out so did not get to use much at the house, but it was so clean and spacious. We ended up only having 4 people instead of 6 so there was plenty of room. The outside lounge area was awesome. We struggled to find how to walk down to the water, but that is okay! Would definitely stay again!

We had a group of 4 reuniting from a study program from 5 years ago. There was plenty of room which each of us having our own room. The house was well equipped and clean. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed. The outside deck was wonderful and provided a lot of extra space. I would stay again

I stayed at this cute house with my family (husband, 2 kids) and my parents. We found the house to be a great set up with a fully equipped kitchen. We absolutely loved the access to the little beach (and using the outdoor shower after the kids were super sandy).
I agree with some other reviewers that the 2 beds on the main floor were quite low, but they were super comfortable. The spiral staircase to the second level and the staircase to the loft could be challenging to impossible for some, but it was fine for our group, including my parents (in their 70s).
Our ferry home was quite late in the day, but the owner was very gracious and pushed off the cleaning to the day after we left, so we were able to use the house after the usual check out time.
It was a great location to quickly go into Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven, but a little bit of a drive to Chilmark and the SW of the island. We had a lovely time and would love to use this property again!

This was a mother/daughter trip and we can’t say enough how much we enjoyed it. This house really suits multi-generations well with our mothers able to occupy the first floor bedrooms and us daughters on the upper levels. We also loved how close to everything it was while still being just far enough away to enjoy the wonderful quiet and birds chirping. We’re already taking about a return visit next year.

We had an awesome stay in this cottage in Oak Bluffs. It was in a great location between towns and had everything we needed and more!
It had some really modern amenities, including sweet surround sound by Sonos in just about all of the rooms, really unique lighting, very modern bathrooms and more!
The kitchen was beautiful as well and very easy to get around and it had everything we needed to make some simple meals for breakfast.
Michael was a pleasure to work with and he was very helpful in getting us setup in this home.
The beds were also very comfortable. Would definately come back.
One complaint I have - though I usually don't like leaving any complaints - is that the cleaning fees we thought were very high.

Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here!! Rental was just as described…has everything you could possibly need and then some! Location was central to everything and a quick drive to edgartown, OB or vineyard haven! The house is located within
a nature preserve like setting…..lots of outdoor spaces for the kids to roam and explore! The private beach was a favorite for our kids…super private and safe! Outdoor shower was amazing!….we loved the Hermes amenities! Thank you for sharing your home!! Magical spot!

Family trip to MV
We enjoyed our time at the house, it was a great property to come back to after exploring the island. The communication with the owners was quick and easy. We went with family (including babies!) and check in, sleeping arrangements, and nights out on the deck were all seamless and very comfortable. The house is great for access to Oak bluffs and Edgartown, all 10-12 min driving. We also enjoyed the walking paths behind the house leading down to the water view pond. Highly recommend!

Our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay at 18 Pulpit Rock Rd. The house was beautiful and well equipped, and the location was terrific. We enjoyed easy access to the the pond and appreciated being close to town without having to deal with traffic and noise. The deck was our favorite spot and we would be happy to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay! The home is beautiful indoors and out. Kitchen stocked for those that like to cook. Bedrooms/Pillows extremely comfortable! The AC worked great for the warm temperatures and the outdoor shower was a treat.
We had two 1-year olds with us so that was a complexity with the stairs and beautifully appointed decor, but we made it work. This home an oasis for adults. Would definitely return.

Cozy and relaxing!
My girlfriends and I enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The decor was lovely. It is about a 10 minute drive from OB and 15 minutes to VH. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and utensils. We were able to enjoy cooking two meals during our stay. As one other reviewer noted, the beds are low and maybe not for everyone, but we loved that everyone was able to have their own space. The beach is just a short walk away and the neighbors we met during our walk were very nice. Michael was responsive and a pleasure to work with! I hope to book another stay soon!

Beautiful unique quiet home.
We spent a lovely 4 days before Memorial Day here and could not have been happier. The house is very well presented with lots of attention to details. From lovely bath products to kayaks and a quality Weber grill everything was 1st class. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We will definitely try to return.
