Wonderful home in Blue Mountain Lake. It is gorgeous as well as are the views of Blue Mountain Lake. The owners are great and we truly feel at home here. We cannot wait to come back again next year!

Beautiful home, crystal clear lake, well stocked kitchen. We had a wonderful 2 weeks here. Property manager was great as well as the owner. Enjoyed the kayaks and canoe and the large dock where we spent most of our time.

Lovely, comfortable home on beautiful Blue Mountain Lake. Plenty of room for the 10 of us and the private bathrooms were a big plus! We enjoyed the lake, boating, swimming and paddle-boarding. The loons visited daily to treat us to their wonderful song calls. John (owner) was very attentive to our needs. Overall, a great family vacation!

We loved this property. The house was large, clean and beautiful. But the best part was that it is right on the lake with gorgeous views. We spent most of our time sitting around the firepit on the bank. Blue mountain lake is so pretty and it was not crowded at all in mid summer. Perfect for boating, tubing or water-skiing with kids. Weather was perfect mid 70s in late July, early August. Very relaxing. We would definitely stay again if in the area. The only downside was the local boat rental place which is pricey for very old boats which are falling apart. We had trouble with our pontoon rental and were not comped despite them having to come out twice to fix the boat. Unfortunately it's the only rental place on blue mountain lake. Otherwise perfect vacation and we would do it again.

This is our second stay at this property, and it was wonderful. We were able to get older folks back to the Adirondacks that we all grew up with and loved, and it was comfortable and beautiful. As a cook, the kitchen was a play land, and the lake was gorgeous. The pictures do not give it justice. The property manager responded immediately when any questions or how-to's came up. We had family camping at the Lake Durant campsites this year to join in the fun. We look forward to coming back again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this very cozy and comfortable home. The house is right on the lake with amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed lighting a fire in the family room in the evenings and the kitchen was well equipped and a great space for cooking. All the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We will definitely go back!

Another wonderful stay on Blue Mountain Lake. The property is so warm and inviting, we feel at home here. A great ski weekend, and even had some fresh snow to play in. We love this house, and look forward to booking our next stay.

Stayed here for a weekend with my family. Beautiful space. Spacious bedrooms each with their own bathrooms. We had a little trouble getting the second oven going, but the owner was quick to communicate and try to help out.

This is a lovely property. We loved the serene location and its peacefulness. There are many reasons to recommend a stay. It is a great central location. It served as a great jumping off place to explore the area. We were there just past leaf peeping season and just before ski season so things were pretty quiet. The pros of this property besides its location were its large bedrooms, well appointed kitchen, and lake-side location. The cons, though nothing major, added up to take a bit of shine off our stay. As another poster mentioned at this price point you have certain expectations. We have stayed at a number of properties in this range and this would rank at the bottom-nothing horrible-just not up to expectation. First, I had to reach out to the property owner for check-in instructions after not receiving any the day before the trip. There was no welcome letter or directions as to the workings of the house (there was one rumpled sheet with wifi info). We have never before stayed at a property where the owner didn't leave a little something (champagne, usually). The towels in the master were scratchy and faded. The soap in the master was tiny and cheap (I had liquid soap for myself but needed to purchase soap for my boys). There was no hair dryer(had to purchase one, as well). Though a personal preference, I found the bed way too soft and uncomfortable. The decor in the house did quite match the photos. It looks like a number of things have been removed from the walls and the home making it less lush. There was dust on the antler chandelier over the kitchen table (easy to reach, just overlooked). We did not find the fourth bedroom over the garage for a couple of days until one of my sons tried the garage bay instead of the door. We were given no check out instructions. Call me petty, but after having to request check-in instructions, I didn't ask for check-out instructions (we stripped beds, gathered towels and put them in the laundry room, bagged the garbage and straightened up, locked the door and left on time).

We had an amazing vacation at this beautiful property. Everything was provided to make us feel welcome and at home. We cannot wait to come back next year!!!

We had a great time at this beautiful home. Very clean and luxurious. We loved every minute of our stay. The weather was perfect. The boat house dock was fabulous. It was a very relaxing vacation.

We had a most relaxing and memorable stay. This home had EVERYTHING on a wishlist…. Even visiting hummingbirds and duck. Beautiful peaceful location. Every amenity needed or wanted. Peaceful views, lots of lake activities, and welcoming dock. Awesome family bonding time. Property manager and owner very responsive . Much needed reprieve for us frontline workers

This was a beautiful house on a beautiful lake. It was just our immediate family but this would be a great spot for a trip including extended family as the bathrooms and bedrooms were so well laid out. Everything was in pristine condition and the beds were very comfortable. The only bummer was that we had no luck fishing but maybe we just had an off week- We rented a boat from the local marina and this made our visit extra enjoyable. Probably one of the nicest Vrbo rentals we have had the pleasure of renting!

We really needed a functional cabin to allow for older grandparents to reminisce in the Adirondacks we grew up camping in. Their need for bathrooms and electricity for their "machines" required us to glamp, but we were blown away by the beauty and grace of this cabin. Truly an oasis, surrounded by beauty, we were able to fish, kayak, canoe, swim, roast marshmallows, read in secret nooks, and play to our hearts content. The cook's kitchen was a play-land for the cooks, and we relished every minute. Looking forward to staying again!

This home was perfect for our vacation in spite of the rain almost every day. It is such a warm, welcoming place with room to spread out and have fun inside and out. We would definitely like to return.

The home is beautiful and so cozy. We spent every day on the lake swimming, kayaking and fishing. We went hiking and took lots of adventures. Great little town with great restaurants close by. Amazing trip for our four sons and we cant wait to return.

We had a great Memorial Day here! It was a bit cold but the fireplace and ample firewood were wonderful. The lake and location are truly amazing - we didn’t want to leave and hope to come back soon!

Such a wonderful home to spend time in the mountains. The lake the home is directly on is absolutely gorgeous. The home is meticulously kept and was super clean upon arrival. Very quick response and confirmation on booking, easy communication with the property manager. Very hospitable with their offering of firewood for the amazing fireplace in the living room. We were there during the winter and it was a magical winter wonderland, and can only imagine how gorgeous the property also is in the summer. Would definitely book again. Thank you for the lovely stay!

There were 6 of us staying at the property - 3 couples. The house is situated right on Blue Mountain Lake which is just gorgeous and about 1.5 miles from the boat livery and Potter's resort. The decor of the house keeps with the Adirondack aesthetic which is cozy although quite dark in the Living Room. The kitchen was well equipped with a commercial sized over ( 2) and griddle. The BBQ outside was a little difficult to use however we overcame that obstacle. I would suggest that a more thorough cleaning of the BBQ and Kitchen should be considered. Our intent was to occupy 3 bedrooms in the main house and the apt above the garage . The master suite is enormous as is the garage apt. We had to abandon the use of the suite above the garage as the noise from a resident mouse kept the guests awake. We soon found out that there was also a mouse in the main house which did eat through a number of our food supplies. In all fairness to the owners, apparently there is a rampant mice and chipmunk infestation this year and an exterminator did visit while we were there.The boat dock was gorgeous and we took full advantage of that every day.We did try to walk the shoreline to both the right and left side of the house ( which was a recommendation of local friends ) however there is a fence erected on one edge of the property that prevented a full excursion. Just a note to future renters.Overall , it was a lovely stay and we were told that the house was one of the most luxurious homes in the neighborhood. i would recommend some clearing of branches around the house to allow for more natural light and a good cleaning of the kitchen and fridge. Just constructive feedback to maintain the allure of the home and enhance a visitor's experience. The kitchen appliances are high end but do need annual maintenance. One other recommendation- plastic glasses for use on the dock. We didn’t see any.

Had an awesome time staying here over Labor Day weekend. The house is beautifully appointed in a "great camp" style and the sleeping arrangements were quite comfortable. Location is fantastic - nothing beats being lakeside at Blue. Would definitely stay again!

The house is large and luxurious with a fantastic chef’s kitchen. The location on the lake can’t be beat.

The property was everything advertised and more. We hope to return.

Blue Mountain Lake is beautiful and the home is nice but the location and package are not worth the price spent for the week stay. Our weather was very warm during our stay so the air-conditioning needed to be running the whole time we were there. The upstairs Master bedroom controls the temp for the whole house...freezing upstairs, ok downstairs. The owners were very friendly and popped over when we had some questions (couldn't figure out the light switches!, tv's weren't working, couldn't figure out how to turn the showers on and we didn't realize we needed to bring our own beach towels, so they brought over some for us). 2 kids slept in the room over the garage - there was no air-conditioning there and sleeping was difficult due to the stuffy room - we had to ask for a fan. Another child slept in a downstairs bedroom and literally bruised her knee from springs in the mattress. Needless to say, she didn't sleep much. The grill on the back deck of the house was dangerous - we almost had a grease fire grilling chicken! (No space between the grill rack and the heat). The Lake was lovely to wake up to and enjoy but the neighbors walked back and forth daily which made for a lack of privacy. The stairs off of the dock lead you into the water and it was very mucky, muddy and laden in tree roots which made it challenging to walk into the water. We definitely recommend water shoes. Our last day we were hearing noises in the kitchen... we found 2 field mice in the garbage can under the kitchen sink! They were cute, but the mouse droppings under the sink and on the kitchen counter was not. We realize we are in the woods, but when we reached out to the owners and sent them a picture of the mice, we never heard back. In my unfortunate rush to pack up the morning of our departure, I left a mug I purchased from an outing to Saranac Lake and also left a whole cabinet of snacks. For the amount we paid, I would have appreciated a return text or phone call from the owners in hopes of getting the mug back!! Overall a nice home, but WAY OVERPRICED.

Beautiful house with stunning location house is equipped with every possible thing you need, master bedroom is incredible all bedrooms have very comfortable beds and linens the major plus is that you can bring you dog who probably enjoyed the location and swimming in the lake the most, only downside was we really couldn't get televisions to work properly but we weren't there to watch tv. My only hope is the rate comes down it's a little steep for where the location is.
