We absolutely love Cherry Cottage! We are so sad to leave. The view, the ambience, the location near Gunstock, everything was wonderful. We loved the antique flair, the fire pit, and did I already say the view?! The communication was great, and we can’t wait to come back. We wish we lived here year-round!

Daily visits by deer and turkeys. Zipline and loads of hiking trails down the road from CHERRY COTTAGE. We cannot say enough about the location. Near Weirs beach to catch the wonderful Sophie mailboat and tour, Castle in the Clouds and local great dining.Shaws,Walmart, Hannaford all within 5 miles. There is so much to be said that made our 35 night stay so memorable including our specialhosts Carolyn and Stephen. Highly recommend!

Lovely historic home with great views both from the table next to the kitchen and from the seating outside. We spent much of our time in these two spots. The home has been restored to provide appreciation for its history and also for modern living. We enjoyed the homemade muffins and had everything we needed to relax and spend time together. Easy access to the house and to other local spots around the lake.

We rented the home for the weekend for a concert. The house is beautiful, immaculate, spacious and we needed for nothing. It overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee, and it is breathtaking.

Four seniors traveling throughout New Hampshire stayed at this beautiful home for three days. At the end, we did not want to leave. Carolyn is the perfect hostess and made us feel incredibly welcomed. The home is beautiful, spacious, and extremely comfortable. The views of the lake, foliage, and mountains were lovely. There was not a single thing lacking in the home, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!!!! Lonni M

This property was in a delightful setting with views over the lake. The house was quirky and cosy with lots of thoughtful inclusions to make self catering easy. We loved curling up in front of the fire each night with a wine in hand. Carolyn’s welcome muffins were the best!

Graduation Weekend
We came to the area to celebrate our daughter's college graduation and enjoyed our stay at Cherry Cottage. A wonderful home full of character, a beautiful location and all the amenities. We were greeted with homemade muffins from the owners that were enjoyed by all. A fire pit and roasting marshmallows as well as evening visits by two deer topped off the experience.

Family Getaway
My family and I went up to NH to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday. The house was located in a nice area close to everything shopping, super market, fun spot and the views are beautiful! The house was very nice but beware if you are tall the upstairs ceilings are very low and the stairs to the second floor are very narrow and short. My husband is 6' 2" and his head grazed the ceiling. I have a newborn and tried not to constantly bring her up and down the stairs. Overall the house has everything you need which is great! The owners live on the property which is convenient if you need anything.

Perfect vacation spot
Beautiful home and setting. All the items you need to eat in and the owners took time to put together a complete notebook of information to make the stay even more enjoyable. Home was clean and comfortable owners were very pleasant and helpful. Great place for a family to share a great experience of New Hampshire. Very centralized location, we flew into Boston and not a bad drive from there. Highly recommend this Cherry Cottage

Great Stay!
Well equipped home with loads of charm. We have absolutely no complaints, we loved our stay. The homemade muffins on arrival were a nice touch and so delicious! I would only have one comment - a little outdoor dining set would be a nice outside in the front yard.

This was the best home we have had with VRBO. The home was spacious, with beautiful antique floors, walls and doors. It had all the conveniencies you needed and more. The beds were very comfortable with windows that overlooked a beautiful view of the lake.

Everything at Cherry Cottage is just so! Nicely outfitted kitchen with extras such as coffee, sugar, spices, and a wet bar with filtered water. Large fridge with an awesome ice maker (we really enjoyed our insulated mugs out on the boat at 95 degrees). Amazing view of the lake - watch the boats pass by or spy an 8-pt buck nibbling leaves on the hillside as we did over coffee one morning. Master bedroom / bath was enough space for our little family of four by itself. Beautiful front yard with rock wall our children loved exploring. Had a great time.

We greatly enjoyed this spacious, secluded and amenities packed site. The location afforded the opportunity to visit the mountains, the lake and fabulous historic charming towns. You cannot choose a better stay!
