Great place for a large group of friends

Great location. Well thought out floor plan for families with kids including a playroom with toys. Kitchen and bathroom very clean. Plenty of room to store fridge/pantry items.
Beds not made upon arrival, so need to make beds with provided linens. Bedsheets were low quality (similar to the kind you would find in a hospital) but clean.
Comforters and bed throw pillows were different throughout the house (looked like a collection from second-hand stores) and had not been washed. One of the comforters on the bunk beds had dried yellow mucous from either a child sneezing into it or something else. The dried mucous was thick and had matted the comforter together on one end. The double bed in that room had pubic hairs on it. All comforters throughout the house had the smell of human bodies on them.
Despite the wonderful features of the rest of the house, the linen situation was off-putting. On the first night, we used only the provided sheets and put our kids coats over them for warmth while we washed the twin comforter covers. We did not launder the remainder of the comforter covers on the adult beds as they were made of a synthetic material that we weren’t sure would launder well and we didn’t use them. We used only the sheets and our coats.
We all felt that an upgrade to the bedding would make this listing truly wonderful. Specifically, nice sheets throughout and comforter covers that can be washed after each guest. Bedding should look and smell fresh.

Well set up house and perfect for kids with the outside area and separate lounge having lots of toys and books to keep them occupied and happy. House is in a nice quiet location yet is still close to supermarket and other amenities. A very comfortable and warm place to stay.

An excellent property, with a fantastic set up for young children with lots toys in a separate lounge and playing area outside, which meant we could all relax and enjoy our time away! Brilliant location in a quiet cul de sac with friendly neighbours and a very short bike/scooter to town! Chantelle was great to deal with, and made the whole process super easy! Thank you 😊

Great location, well equipped home served as a perfect base for touring both Doubtful and Milford Sounds. Quiet neighborhood and close to town. Enjoyed our stay!

After spending long days out and about it was wonderful to come back to town and relax “at home.” The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. We were only 2, so we didn’t use much of the house, but it would have been a great place for a couple families to share. A lovely comfortable space!

Our visit to Te Anau was wonderfully punctuated with some great lodgings. The house was very roomy and had state-of-the-art appliances. All interactions with the owners were seamless and we are very grateful for the cleanliness of the place, the spaciousness, and the overall ease with the rental. HIghly recommended!

Our family really enjoyed staying at this large, comfortable home. It had a nice backyard with a beautiful, large picnic table. Also, the house was located in a nice neighborhood close to shops & restaurants. We had fun playing ping pong in the garage area. All in all, a great experience.

One must do thing is the cinema, just make sure you go, can’t give it up, but one of the better short productions I’ve seen !!!

We were a group of three mums with three sons who travelled down from Dunedin to stay Friday to Sunday so the boys could complete part of the Kepler Track nearby with their scout group. It was so nice to be able to spread out and to enjoy the space this house and garden provides. It was like home from home. Comfortable, warm, lots of activities for the kids, and lovely space for the adults to relax, cook and chat.

This home is beautiful, fully equipped and very spacious. Our family of 4 has been traveling around New Zealand for 3 months staying in several different places. This home was, by far, the nicest place with the best amenities of all the places we stayed. We ended up wishing we had booked another 4-5 days here. The kitchen is spacious and the knives are sharp! Plenty of dishes and even a gas grill outside. There is even a 2nd, separate TV/entertainment room so the kids (and we adults) can have their own space. We took a couple of tours while we were in Te Anaí and it was a short walk to but and boat pick-up sites. You will not regret staying at this home!
