Cozy Second Floor Unit in Oceanfront Condominiums
Colony by the Sea Condominiums ist günstig gelegen direkt am Meer in Duck. Abseits von der Hauptstraße bieten sie Privatsphäre, sind aber zu Fuß zur Sound-Seite der Insel und der kleinen Stadt Duck. Colony by the Sea ist ein Favorit für Gäste jeden Alters.
Wee Duck Inn ist eine gemütliche zweite Etage, sauber und schön eingerichtet, mit herrlichem Blick auf das Meer und den Innenhof. Es ist perfekt für ein Paar oder eine kleine Familie. Unsere Küche wurde renoviert und bietet alle neuen Schränke, Arbeitsplatten, Fußböden und Armaturen. Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett, einen 26-Zoll-Flachbild-TV und ein komplettes Master-Bad. Die Etagenbetten im Flur sind perfekt für Kinder und befinden sich neben einem zweiten kleineren Vollbad. Beide Bäder wurden für 2019 neu gestaltet. Das große Wohnzimmer bietet sehr komfortable Unterkünfte und bietet ein Queensize-Schlafsofa, einen 42-Zoll-Flachbild-TV, eine Stereoanlage und einen DVD-Player. Es gibt ein Buch und eine DVD-Bibliothek sowie einige Spiele. Gratis Wifi. Eine voll ausgestattete Küche beinhaltet alle neuen Großgeräte und jedes kleine Gerät, das Sie zum Essen benötigen. Der private Balkon ist perfekt zum Entspannen oder Essen im Freien. Holzkohlegrills befinden sich im Innenhof.

Overall it's a great condo and property. It is in the middle floor, which is hard if you have young kids, and trying to be respectful of the people below and above. Overall I didn't hear much above or below, but you can hear if one side or the other is being super loud. The only real thing I did not like about this condo, was the internet, would constantly kick you off, and you'd have to resign in. When trying to do some work in the morning from a computer that was hard. Other than that a great place and would stay again.

Having stayed in 5 different units at Colony by the Sea over the past 4 years, Gwen’s 210 “Wee Duck Inn” was by far the cleanest, nicest and most comfortably furnished, and best ocean/beach decor of all. We would choose to stay there again, no question.

Everything about this condo was perfect! Very clean, location was close to beach, beautiful view, and really enjoyed the reserved parking spot. The kitchen was stocked with everything we might have needed to cook with. My kids loved the selection of movies and games as well!

Cute condo in Duck. Nicely furnished with a beach theme. All appliances and dishes are available for use. Comfortable bed! Close to the beach. The pool looked clean but too chilly to try it. We went to Corolla, Kitty Hawk and Kill Devil Hills as well as Roanoke Island. Appreciated the quiet area. Would definitely go back!

condo was nicely located to shops, restaurants, near an amazing boardwalk that we walked every day. Beautifully decorated condo with beach themes was so comfortable and quiet. Close to beach we felt like this was a home away from home, we enjoyed our vacation very much

My husband and I had a relaxed and pleasant stay here. The kitchen, though small, had just about everything we needed. The rooms were all spotless and the balcony, with nice seating, was wonderful. An ocean view too! Thanks for everything, Gwen.

I think Duck is the best area of the OBX. My wife and daughter stayed here and it was the perfect getaway with the pool and ocean just a minute walk away. Very pleased with the room. Maybe add some extra home items like toilet paper and towels, etc. But overall, very nice and we would stay here again.

This was the perfect size for just the two of us to enjoy a week at the beach, without having to worry about the coordination of a bunch of friends or family on a large property. Everything was very clean in both the condo and property in general and it was at most a 2-3 minute walk to the beach from the front door. Having 2 full bathrooms was a huge plus and a grill on the property was perfect for dinners. I've never stayed in Duck before now and I'll definitely be staying there again! This street is a 15 minute walk from a ton of restaurants and shops in the town and the town itself, especially the condo, has incredibly friendly people! We had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back!

This condo was absolutely the perfect spot for our first trip to Duck. It fit my husband, our 4-year old and I perfectly and had wonderful amenities. The walkway to the beach made getting out on the dunes a cake walk, and the pool with the ocean view was perfect. The condo is also a short, easy walk from the shops and Duck boardwalk. The owner was always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. If you have a small family or young children, this is the perfect vacation location.

Had an amazing time with my family at the Wee Duck Inn. Absolutely perfect size for a small family (2 adults & 2 children). The condo was clean and cozy. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. The beach and pool was a very easy, short walk from the condo. My family enjoyed everyday we spent here. Will definitely be returning!

We had a great time at the Wee Duck Inn. The location was great, right on the ocean and walking distance to the Duck boardwalk. The condo was decorated nice and had all the amenities. Great for couples and loved the 2nd bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wee Duck In! My usual experience is to be prepared to clean and sanitize the minute I walk in. Not here! The condo was spotless and everything in its place. Instead of grabbing the Lysol I grabbed the wine! The kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and utensil you could possibly need. And they were of high quality so no bent spatulas or dull knives. The furnishings were stylish and looked new. Two bathrooms for two people was a vacation must and they were perfect. The view was good - wish it was better but I could see and hear the ocean so I was happy. The location was perfect for shopping and dining. We had some bad weather but I didn’t mind. It was the beach! I highly recommend it and want to thank the owner for such a positive experience from booking to check out. We’ll be back!

Everything we needed for a perfect beach getaway! Kitchen had plenty of necessities. The pool was a godsend, warm from being fully sunny. Got the opportunity to see sea Turtles nests as well as meet some of the local volunteers. Gwen had spectacular open communication with us prior to arrival and let us know when the condo was ready for early check in. We can't wait to come back!

The owners and VRBO process make everything seamless and easy. There is not question or problem that will occur that the owners cannot help you solve. Incredibly well equipped rental and perfect spot, only about a mile from town center and a few minutes walk to the ocean. Love it!

Perfect Family Vacation Property
We had a great stay at the Wee Duck Inn and would certainly rent there again! It is such a perfect location. Close to the beach and a pool, close to great shops and restaurants, so much to do we will have to go back for another visit. Check in at the property was easy, the apartment was clean, tidy and newly renovated, and communication with the owner was easy and friendly. 10/10 would recommend!!

Comfy Condo
The “Wee Duck Inn” was perfect for my fiancé and I. We had a fantastic week and the place was clean and very well equipped with everything we needed to make a meal. It is located very close to the beach and has great access to the beach. I would definitely stay there again.

The property of Wee Duck Inn was exactly as described and very welcoming. Board games and books were available for later evening family time or a rainy day. The condo was clean, cute, and met our needs for a fabulous family vacation!

Clean and comfy condo
Lovely condo that is very clean and well-equipped. Beachfront access and walkable to restaurants and shops. Our second time staying in this complex, but first time in this condo. Both last year and this year were great! Perfect for our family of 4 and the kids loved the bunk beds. I wish that there was a washer and dryer inside the condo, but there are 2 on ground level in the building- the owner has no control over this. I learned last year to have my laundry coins ready and to do laundry in the morning rather than evening for washer availability - this wasn’t too inconvenient in the end since I knew to plan ahead. Advice to future renters is to buy the bulk of your groceries in Kitty Hawk/Kill Devils on your way to Duck since back and forth can be a lengthy journey since traffic is so bad. Overall wonderful stay- clearly a caring owner - a “get started” supply welcome bag is provided at check-in.

Wonderful place
We had a great stay at Wee Duck Inn. It was perfect for our little family and had everything we needed. It was very clean, when we arrived there was even a welcome bag with some goodies! Great communication with the owners as well. We will hopefully be back next year!
