Foxglove house is like a home away from home. It's in the perfect situation looking out onto the sea and right beside all amenities. The house itself was spotless and Enda our host went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Enda met us on arrival to give us some useful info about the island and sights to visit. The kids were very happy with all the treats she had left for them and during the week we all enjoyed Enda's fabulous homemade scones with cream and jam. Highly recommend foxglove house, you'll love your stay here on Valentia Island. Enda is so welcoming, we'll definitely be back.

Foxglove House has it all, an amazing location in a beautiful island setting. The house had everything we needed and more with it. It was indeed ‘home from home’ with all the things you needed for a comfortable and totally enjoyable stay. I’ve never stayed in a place where the host has paid so much attention to the well-being of their guests as well as Enda did. She went above and beyond to be helpful, kind and informative. Covid procedures were exceptional as the house was spotless with plenty cleaning products, and a separate box for masks, hand sanitizer etc. We felt very well looked after from day one with milk in the fridge and a welcome pack of assorted snacks laid out for our arrival. Throughout our stay she made sure we were happy and enjoying our holiday. This is a gem of a house with an amazing host. Thanks so much Enda we will be back ! Miss out on this gem at your peril !!

Everything was perfect.

Enda was a great host and made us feel very welcome. She gave us plenty of good advice on where to visit etc. The house was very clean, well organised and in a great location with beautiful views of the harbour. We’d certainly stay here again next time we visit Valentia Island.
