Incredibly beautiful wall of glass including two sliding doors connecting to an oversized deck. The whole front of the cottage sparkled with the reflection of the Bay.

Love this cottage located right on the beach. Stay here if you love relaxing, listening to the sounds of waves, laying out getting sun rays, and overall enjoying the peace and serenity of a beach cottage. This cottage is wonderful and Dave the property manager is very attentive and helpful when needed!

Wonderful vacation , great property and the location is absolutely incredible. We are already looking forward to renting again next summer.

Great view

A great spot to rest and relax. proximity to water can't be beat, watching sunrises and sunsets was perfect. My 78 yr old mother found it a teeny bit rough around the edges but she still loved our stay. Anf it's a beach cottage. Overall a fabulous vacation!

Always a great stay here at this cottage. Located right on the beach, incredible views of the sunrise, private beach setting - you really can't ask for more! Highly recommended! A great place to rest and relax.

We all loved it so much , we've already booked for 2023.. this property is so peaceful and relaxing - lots of things to do in the area but we spent most of our time in the deck fishing and enjoying the ocean

Absolutely the most relaxing stay! The deck here is fantastic, it is actually bigger than it looks in the pictures, right on the water. Watch the tide come in and go out right under your feet. Sunrise and full moon right across the bay.

This is our 2nd visit to this property and we love it. We walked on the beach down to Fort Phoenix. The house was really clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the small portable electric heaters in the living room and each of the bedrooms in addition to the gas floor heater in the kitchen. Dave is always such a pleasure.

This place was amazing, and we can’t wait to go back for another visit!

This property and location are fantastic and David went out of his way to accommodate us. The only downside is that the double bed was unfortunately really uncomfortable and my boyfriend and I ended up sleeping in the twin beds because it was unbearable. Otherwise this was a lovely vacation getaway!

We had a wonderful stay!! The cottage was clean and comfortable! The pictures do not do it justice! It has everything you could want or need. The porch is huge with stunning views!!! They even had toys for my son to play with on the private beach!

Such a relaxing property! Sitting in the living room with the sliders open, the waves lapping right off the deck, it was so restful! Great place to unwind and recharge!

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at this property. The listing description is very accurate as are the photos. Just keep in mind that this is a true beachfront cottage not some pristine gem that just fell off the pages of Architectural Digest. There are a few nicks and dings and a few grains of sand that escaped the vacuum cleaner but honestly that should be expected. It certainly didn't bother us in the least. My only complaint is that there are seven (yes seven) speakers mounted on the walls of the living space. Two of them are mounted at only about 6'-1" off the floor. I'm about 6'-4" and managed to clobber both of them with my head. To add insult to injury the speakers do not appear to be connected to anything. Dear owner, please remove these hazards before someone gets hurt. Other than that we would highly recommend this property.

My wife and I just love it here! Not only is this cottage perfectly located right on the beach with just about every amenity possible, Dave the property manager is the best. He very attentive and keeps the cottage clean and inviting. We are heading back in September for our 3rd visit this year!! This place makes you feel like you’re on an island far from home :)

Can't get any closer to the open water than this property. Loved the ocean access & deck. Kitchen & living room are open and airy.

This beach cottage was very clean which is important to us. It was exactly as described and pictured. The location is amazing as are the views. My children loved all the shells. The water was warm (which is hard to find in MA).Dave was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The property was tight four our family of 5 adults, but you can't overlook the beautiful, spacious deck overlooking the water. Clean and well-maintained property.

The property is oceanfront, huge deck and views that never end. The property is spotless and not far from restaurants and stores. Quiet neighborhood. I didn't give it a 5 only because there are a few little things that were annoying, but could be easily remedied. There is a Keurig coffee machine but no mugs big enough to use without overflowing. Had we known that, we would have easily brought our own. No tea kettle so we used a saucepan. The hot water took a few minutes to get hot enough to shower, but it does eventually get hot. There is a TV but it's not standard cable so we couldn't even find Boston news, never mind regular channels. Simple directions would solve that. We have used Vrbo many times and wonder why some owners don't by some decent furniture . This house is small and has older, unmatched and not very comfy furniture. We were there in both cool and hot weather. We were relieved that there are 3 air conditioners, but when it is cool out, that leaves only 1 window in each room to use. That said, you cannot beat the location and beach in front of you! The property manager is great and very responsive. The owner should put some money into some updates, but it definitely an unbelievable location!

This was the perfect get away for our family of 5. We haven't gone anywhere in the last year due to Covid-19 and this was our first outing. The cottage was clean, the linens fresh, and extra cleaning supplies were left for us to use. We couldn't find the linens for the pullout couch, David responded to our text immediately and brought us clean linens and extra towels within a half hour. The location was great, walking distance to Fort Phoenix, to the Library, wonderful neighborhoods to meander in, and a great coffee shop, The Nook. This cottage had everything we needed and was a wonderful get away. We will definitely be coming back.

Loved the location - on the water, short walk over to Fort Phoenix and nice neighborhood for walks. We enjoyed playing on the beach and collecting shells. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The property manager was wonderful. He responded immediately when there was an issue with the heater and brought over an extra space heater for us until the repair could be completed. We were in town visiting family we couldn't stay with due to COVID but if we ever need a place to stay in Fairhaven again, this will definitely be the place.

I we had a perfect three day break in this ocean front cottage. Nice big deck. The place had everything we needed. Easy walk along the beach to Fort Phoenix. Interesting town and close to New Bedford. A hidden gem.

Great cottage, right on the water, clean, close to shopping, responsive management. We will return.

My husband and I stayed here for a short getaway to celebrate our anniversary. It’s a great, quiet location right on the ocean. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the property manager, Dave, was great. Shortly after checking in, we discovered our grill propane was empty, so we called and Dave came over and had it exchanged for us with within 20-30 minutes. The cottage is small, but clean and has great views all around. The beach is mostly shells with some sand, so just something to be aware of. There is also another property directly next door and the patio kind of overlooks theirs as well as shares a walkway to the beach, so there is not total privacy. I could imagine this may be frustrating if you’re looking for a quiet, private trip, depending on who you end up with next door. However, there is still plenty of room to spread out on the beach, and the ocean waves help with drowning out some of the noise or conversation going on right next door. We spent most of our trip enjoying the views from the patio, which has comfy chairs and is very spacious. We would definitely rent here again.

We were looking for a house on the beach after our initial vacation was cancelled due to covid and found this. Small, quaint, simple no frills cottage right on the beach and ocean. It was exactly what we were looking for. The pictures are exactly what you get. 2 small bedrooms. One with full bed, TV, and 2 dressers. The 2nd bedroom had 2 twin beds, one dresser and a closet which doubled as a utility closet. The bathroom has a tub with shower with great water pressure. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pots/pans, silverware and glassware. We did have some sugar ants on arrival but picked up some traps that seem to do the trick. The island seats 4 and the small living area has a couch that pulls out to a futon (not the comfiest) and a chair. The deck is large and has beautiful views. The table seats 6 and there is also an outdoor couch and 2 chairs. The grill was out of propane and we called Dave, the property manager, and he immediately came to fill it. He also checked in with us mid week to see if we needed more towels. The beach has LOTS of shells so you have to have water shoes and also has quite a bit of sea vegetation that washes up daily. Bring your own beach chairs if you want to sit on beach. The water was only calm on 2 mornings so we didn't use the kayaks we brought much but we did enjoy the breeze. Its really quite tranquil and beautiful. We ate out every night but the one night we grilled. We enjoyed Off the Hook Restaurant on West Island at the marina, Rose Alley Pub, the Walers Tavern and Moby Dicks in New Bedford. For ice cream we enjoyed Acushnet Creamery. We found cute souvenirs at Euro right in Fair Haven near Center street. There is a Stop & Shop, Walmart, Dollar General and Ocean State Job Lot very close. My daughter and I also enjoyed Jelly pedicures at Chloes.

This was the perfect spot if you need to relax at the beach safely! We rented the property for 5 nights, and it was amazing. The porch was beautiful and large, we were able to have some visitors for some socially distanced happy hours on the large patio. Totally recommended!

The location and the cottage are both excellent. The outdoor deck is very large and is very close to the bay water. We enjoyed watching the fishing boats coming back and forth from New Bedford. David was very helpful and accommodating. Fairhaven is a very nice little town, we will definitely be coming back and staying at this cottage again in the future. We highly recommend it.

Another great stay at this wonderful cottage! Super clean, especially during the Covid pandemic. This hidden gem is perfectly located right on the beach with incredible views of both the cove and sunrises. The property manager Dave is friendly and easy to deal with. He thoroughly cleans before and after each rental. This cottage comes equipped with everything we will need for a relaxing stay. We love it so much, we will be back for another week stay in just 10 days!!

The property manager was always available(never needed)and happy to offer suggestions. He did an excellent job making sure the place was thoroughly cleaned. The location was perfect. Looking for a *safe* way to get away this summer this was it. The beach was calm and serene in the morning with baby waves in the afternoon - perfect for my young child to explore while the adults relaxed on the beach or large deck. As others have said definitely happy I brought beach chairs. We rented a kayak locally for the duration of our stay that was dropped off and picked up. Definitely recommend.

I almost don't want to let this secret out.. We had a wonderful time here. The property was perfect for the 4 of us, myself, husband and teen/tween sons. It is directly on the beach. A perfect little beach cottage. David, our host was wonderful. Super super nice guy and very responsive if I had any questions or concerns. It is a small beach cottage with an adorable layout. Sliders to the deck with a gorgeous view of the bay. Super clean and cute decor.. The bedrooms are small but it is a beach cottage. Besides, you'll be too busy on the deck, on the beach in the sand or hanging around the living area loving the view. The water was perfect, warm and calm. I would suggest water shoes, they are an absolute must. Even bring snorkels. This is a shell hunters dream and with that comes the need to cover your feet. The amount of shells is indescribable and amazing. It is so private with the additional rental directly beside the property and one other house. We only saw the other renters (an adorable family) and the other homeowners(once). I have found my happy place. Come here, you will find it too. We will most definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay, right on the water. The deck is huge, more than the entire width of the house, and the water is in full view from the kitchen and living room (great room). Quiet area, family-oriented. Can’t go wrong here! Perfect for our family of four (2 adults and 2 older teenagers).

Great cottage right on the beach! Very large deck, right off the 2 sliders. Incredible views of the water, beach, sunrises and sunsets from inside or outside. This place is perfect for a short or extended stay and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. We stayed here multiple times and Dave the property manager is great to deal with. The views are just priceless!
