Hillborne Cottage Perth Hills
Das HILLBORNE COTTAGE ist ein unabhängiges Cottage mit zwei Schlafzimmern in den wunderschönen Perth Hills im Sawyers Valley. Hillborne grenzt an den Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, den KEP Track (Wandern, Radfahren, Reiten), den Golden Pipeline Heritage Drive des National Trust (Mundaring Weir nach Kalgoorlie) und das Alps Reserve.
Das Haus ist perfekt für Buschwanderer, Radfahrer und Reiter mit zahlreichen Wegen und Pfaden gelegen, nur einen Steinwurf von "Hillborne" entfernt, etwa 5 Autominuten, 15 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad von Mundaring und 45 Minuten von Perth entfernt. Der Munda Biddi Trail, einer der längsten Offroad-Radwege der Welt, beginnt in Mundaring.
Das Haus verfügt über sehr komfortable Unterkünfte mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem Queensize-Bett sowie einem zweiten Schlafzimmer mit zwei Kingsize-Einzelbetten. Es verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Sitz- und Essbereich mit TV, DVD-Player und Klimaanlage mit Umkehrfunktion sowie eine große Veranda mit Grill, auf der Sie die schöne Aussicht über das Tal und den spektakulären Glanz der letzten Sonnenstrahlen genießen können, die nach oben verschwinden die Gummibäume.
Alle Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt. Tee, Kaffee, Milch, Zucker und unsere eigenen Eier aus Freilandhaltung, sofern verfügbar. BITTE BEACHTEN SIE: MINDESTENS ZWEI NÄCHTE AUFENTHALT.
Wir begrüßen Pferde, die Koppel vor dem Haus steht zur Besichtigung von Pferden zur Verfügung.
Gerne begleite ich Reiter mit eigenen Pferden auf den vielen schönen Wegen. Da wir ein Pferd sind, sind Hunde nur auf Anfrage erlaubt.

What a blissful weekend. Hillborne Cottage exceeded all expectations and turned on all its charms, the perfect place to take a breath and unwind. The property is immaculate and has everything you need. Melissa warmly welcomed us and the fresh eggs and honey were a lovely touch. Our fur baby enjoyed her stay too! We will definitely be back.

We had 2 wonderful nights for our first holiday away with our dogs, the cottage is just lovely and in such a beautiful, peaceful location.
It was wonderful to have a secure garden to let the dogs run free, and there are plenty of lovely walks to take your dogs.
We had fresh honey & eggs which was a lovely treat and the host was very warm & welcoming.
Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage to others

Really lovely cottage, well fitted out with everything you need, in a beautiful property. Fresh eggs, honey, juice and milk on arrival which was wonderful, and plenty of coffee and tea. Melissa was super friendly and helpful while being respectful of our privacy. So nice to be able to watch the horses in the paddock and the kids absolutely loved being able to get up close while watching them being fed. I can’t recommend this property enough, we have used stayz all over the country and this is up there with some of the best. The whole family had a fabulous little staycation, thanks so much Melissa

Beautiful property and lovely owners. The cottage has everything you need and the beds are super cozy. We loved seeing the horses in the paddocks every day and Marley the border collie. The large fire pit was a real hit for our family (don't forget the marshmallows!) We also got to feed the beautiful horses one evening in their stable which was lovely. Highly recommend Hillborne Cottage.

Absolutely magic views from the deck and beautiful location adjacent to multiple hiking trails. The cottage is very cosy and filled with thoughtful touches to make your stay extra comfortable. So lovely to be able to bring our dog who enjoyed every minute!

This was our second winter mini-break at Hillborne. We had a wonderful time relaxing in the warm, cosy cottage and sitting on the deck watching the horses grazing in the paddock.
We even spotted some rabbits and a bandicoot!
The cottage has everything you need and Melissa is an amazing host. We look forward to coming back soon!

The kids loved feeding the horses and running around the front of the property. Beautiful walks along the pipeline.

I enjoyed a lovely week at Hillborne with my dogs. The cottage has everything you need and shops are nearby. Great to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city but not too removed from it at the same time. Good sized, enclosed yard for my dogs. Lovely outlook to the horses in adjacent paddock.

This is our second stay at Hillborne & it was perfect as always! The cottage is so clean & tidy and has everything you need. Melissa is a wonderful host & is so easy to deal with. Our pooch just loves it here-so great to be able to take him with us on our weekend away. Can highly recommend😊

We loved our stay. After a record breaking hot and dry summer we were delighted to have a little rain to green up the dry paddocks.
The cottage has everything we could want and more. The full kitchen has it all and each appliance is a quality one.
The personal touches take the cottage from just a good B&B to a delightful one. The colours, the artwork, the bed linen and little thoughtful additions all made our stay not just comfortable but memorable… and homely at the same time.
Arriving from the property gate, to the carport, the back exterior of the cottage seemed disappointing but how wrong we were. The views to the (albeit dry for this time of year) paddocks with the horses and the beautiful trees was just as soothing as depicted in the ad. We used the verandah as much as we could, especially in the late afternoon when the feeding birds were a joy to watch and listen to.
Melissa was an ideal host, checking in as she went about her afternoon chores but sensitive to the fact we didn’t need entertainment, just peace. Hillborne Cottage has that in spades and more.

Our stay at Hillborne Cottage was amazing. Melissa is the perfect host, being available if needed. The cottage is comfortable and well stocked with games and what you need for cooking. The eggs and honey were a lovely touch, and the location can’t be beaten if you like to walk or cycle, as it’s right on the heritage reserves trail. We will definitely be back.

Everything about this accommodation was spot on!! Spotless, amazing setup, view, unwind time!! Managed by a dead set legend!! Melissa is the best!! Secure property - secluded but convenient to all amenities, bushwalks, pubs!! Took the pooch on her 1st holiday!! She was perfect - cos we were so happy!! We’ll b back!!

This is a gorgeous little cottage set on beautiful grounds, private yet open, you feel like you’re a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The owner Melissa is fantastic to deal with, very agreeable and flexible and friendly.

A thoughtfully curated cottage with quality bed linen and eclectic, yet warm, rustic vibes. Excellent springboard to see Perth Hills sites like Mundaring Weir with easy access to historic and scenic walks. It would be glorious in the cooler months as the paddocks that are in full view grow to shades of green. Very sweet place for an easy staycation away from the crowds that offers a sense of the simple-life and a mindful reset.

My partner and I stayed one night at Hillborne cottage, and loved it! The property is in a beautiful location, and the accommodation itself is so clean and beautifully furnished. We took our dog along as well, and he loved having the house paddock to explore.The property is only a short distance away from Mundaring, so we were able to go into town to pick up some supplies for dinner. Everything else we needed was provided for in the kitchen- including milk, oil and other goodies! The owners really have thought of everything. We will definitely be back for another relaxing stay soon!

The cottage is very nice, very clean and very well equipped. We enjoyed sitting on the veranda, listening to the birdsong and watching them. We were thrilled by the incredibly good scent of the trees.

Melissa was the kindest most thoughtful host! Even before I arrived her communication ensured that I would be well rested, refreshed and welcomed so beautifully at Hillborne.
The house and all ammenities were luxurious, warm, inviting, creatively beautiful and just so relaxing. The property is stunning and so peaceful, the local birds and horses on the property were such a gorgeous bonus to my stay.
I will most definitely be back to this place that felt like home more than a vacation rental!

The cottage is situated in a beautiful location near Perth and provides a feeling of escape. It's perfect for walks and has a lovely balcony to enjoy the early morning and evening view of horses, birds, bunnies, and other wildlife. The hosts were accommodating and allowed our dog to roam freely in the fully enclosed yard, which our furry friend thoroughly enjoyed. The property was immaculate and well-maintained, with fresh eggs, honey, and delightful surprises upon arrival.

The owner family was very kind.
The accommodation is very clean and new. Nice and wide kitchen with enough dishes, glasses, and cooking tools. BBQ grill was also ready. I could enjoy BBQ.

We loved our stay at Hillborne! The house was immaculately clean and really did feel like our own home for a couple of nights. Being able to take our little dog was just fabulous - and he had a whale of a time. Looking out over the paddocks taking in the surrounding nature was the perfect escape from the rat race!

Very comfortable stay. Host has thought of everything. Lovely thick towels and comfortable beds. Best part was the porch. Elevated position looking out to the paddocks. There is amazing birdlife and beautiful horses to look at. Honey fresh eggs OJ a real treat. Close to Mundaring. Would love to come back and recharge at this lovely spot. Regular check ins from Marley the dog a great bonus.

The cottage is a sweet little house inside an enclosed paddock that was an absolute blessing for my greyhound! She was absolutely in love with being able to trot about in the mornings off lead. The cottage is situated on a hill with stairs up to the main verandah, and the view is just lovely, with truly enjoyable cross breezes. The house is just large enough for comfort but small enough for coziness, and to make keeping it tidy a snap. I suffer a bit with the heat so I was very grateful for the split system in the lounge area and the fans in the bedrooms. Also the shower cubicle was bigger than you get in most hotels. There are abundant brochures, maps, and information about the local life and scenery (another reason to go back!) and we were really touched by the fresh farm eggs, honey, oj and wine that was left for us - very generous :) The owners were so welcoming, genuinely kind and lovely people, and their little collie is beautiful too! We'd love to stay again some time :)

We stayed at the cottage with our 1 and 3 years old. It was clean and had everything we needed for the stay. We were given some eggs from their chickens and honey from their beehives which were delicious. The place has heaps of board games and things as well as capsule coffee machine. Melissa our host took us to meet the horses and chickens and we got to pick some plums from the trees. The kids loved seeing the animals. The cottage is not far from all the shops and taverns. We went to Mount Helena Tavern 2 nights in a row 5 mins from the place. The outdoor there was really good for the kids to run around. Overall we have a good few days off from our usual life.

A beautiful, secluded setting and house which is not far away from several small to mid to size towns. Wildlife everywhere including Horses, Ducks, Rabbitts, many different types of birds. The dawn chorus was amazing. The adjoining owners dog even came to say hello. We loved every second of our stay.
