Our extended family, including two lively youngsters aged 3 and 4, had a fantastic week at this Cape Cod gem from Aug 12-19, 2023. This meticulously designed and recently renovated VRBO property exceeded our expectations. The spacious five-bedroom layout accommodated us perfectly, providing ample room for both group gatherings and personal relaxation. The well-stocked kitchen felt like a home away from home, making meal preparation a breeze. The fenced-in backyard was a hit, especially with the kids, offering a secure and fun play area. The nearby beach, just a short walk away, was ideal for family outings, and its proximity to Hyannis Harbor and Main Street added convenience. The central air conditioning kept us cool throughout our stay. Ample storage space and the light, airy atmosphere were a welcome touch. A huge plus were the multiple recently-renovated bathrooms, each room had its own designated bathroom, making morning routines a breeze and eliminating any potential wait times. The owner's friendly check-in at the start made us feel valued and appreciated. In summary, this Cape Cod VRBO property is perfect for family getaways with kids. We highly recommend it for its comfort, convenience, and quintessential Cape Cod experience. Our week here was magical, and we can't wait to return. Thank you for sharing this piece of paradise!

Such a spacious, beautiful clean home in a great location with walking distance to beach and town. It was perfect for our family reunion where we had many people coming from out of state (this was one of two houses we rented). Lots of space and having 6 bathrooms plus an outdoor shower was so great! Beautiful yard to hang out in every night. Host was very responsive throughout the process. Will definitely stay here again!

The home, the location, and the amenities were perfect! We have stayed in VRBOs all over the United States and Europe and this is one of the loveliest. The home is completely remodeled and beautifully appointed – a lovely, clean, welcoming feel. It’s a five minute walk to the beach, close to the harbor and Main Street. The owner and property manager were great- very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this wonderful home!

We stumbled upon this house when looking for properties in Hyannis. It was a great choice! Communication with the property owner was easy, she answered many questions about the house and the area. Thew was freshly cleaned when we arrived and as expected. Worked for a our group of 8. Kitchen and bathroom looks recently remolded which were all very nice. It was about a 4 min walk to the closet beach, Keyes. Never too busy! The AC worked great, sometimes too great as other were cold and some were warm, and extra blanket would be nice if you tend to be cold. I highly recommend Tugboats for dinner out on the deck. The Black Cat was also a fav of our group.

This house was super clean and large enough for 6 adults and 3 children. It was close to beaches, shops and restaurants. The outdoor shower was a huge hit as well as the nice yard. The owner was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We appreciate the welcoming card and Prosecco. We had a wonderful week.

Recently remodeled and super clean. Great outdoor spaces for dining and lounging. Very short walk to Keyes Beach and within short drive of others. Owner is very easy to communicate with and quite helpful.

We had a fabulous time here. Peggy was accommodating and responsive. The property is within walking distance of the beach and right along the trolly line to the downtown area. We will definitely come again.

Great location and walkability to Keyes beach. Close to shops in Hyannis, restaurants, Ferries and central on the Cape to drive to any destination. House was SO clean and ideal.

With Keyes beach a few steps away, the harbor, town and more beaches so close, it’s ideal. Shady back patio for dinners was really nice. So clean with 5.5 renovated bathrooms!

My family stayed here for a mini reunion after not seeing each other for 18 month due to covid. We had grandparents, adults and children ages 19 months to 8.5 years (10 in all). There were plenty of bedrooms to hold us all and more than enough bathrooms. We never felt crowded even on the rainy days we had and the enclosed backyard was perfect for the kids. The lawn games left out were so fun for them and the seating area was great for the adult to sit and relax. The beach was a very short walking distance from the house and was never super crowded which was so nice. The house is a very short drive to main street and about a mile walk to the Martha's Vineyard Ferry. The house is exactly as it looks in the photos. Very clean and equip with everything you need. The owner was very responsive with anything we needed including a propane tank that wasn't working properly. I highly recommend this house and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time at this house - perfectly situated between the beach and Main Street! This house has all the amenities and so much space to spread out. The yard was a huge bonus too!

This was our 2nd year at this great beach house! The house is in a great location and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The house is super clean when you arrive and Peggy is always availble if you need anything at all(which you probably won't). We strongly recommend this house for your beach vacation!

We had a great week at this fantastic house! It was incredibly clean and has terrific space for a large group to stay and be comfortable. The hosts were so nice and helpful, and the location of the house is perfect for getting to beaches & town. We loved this property!

Peggy’s house is absolutely perfect. We are a family of 8 over three generations and everyone had a quiet, cool and comfortable bedroom with their own bathroom. I slept better on this vacation then I do at my own house! The yard was safe and secure for our grandchildren to run around and the house is on the corner of a dead end that makes for nice little walks or bike rides. The outdoor shower was new and clean and spacious. The house offers clean surfaces throughout (dressers, counters, bookshelves) which was wonderful and provided lots of places for phones, purses, wallets to be safe and organised. The beach is walking distance away and there are two larger beaches only one mile away with a playground at one and a snack bar at the other. Hyannis offered night life for our adult children. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dining room and living room were large and peaceful. The sunroom was an extra bonus for morning coffee. Two of our party had to work remotely for part of our trip and the wifi was strong enough for all to use. In short we can’t recommend Peggy’s house enough. A++ thank you!!

This house was perfect. We had plenty of room for family and friends to all have their own space and bathroom - and the layout allowed us to easily entertain. The location was convenient to Keyes beach and a short drive to the downtown and the waterfront. Peggy and her husband were very responsive and checked in to make sure that everything was okay. They even left a welcome gift and note. We would definitely stay here again,

It was such a convenient and comfortable location. It was very clean when we arrived, and we really appreciated the plentiful bathrooms. Great outdoor shower, well kept outdoor lawn and seating areas. Within the home there were nice areas to hangout with friends and family, and also areas where one would prefer it being peaceful and quiet. Nearby to three beaches and close to the downtown area of Main Street. The area around the home was nice to ride bikes. And last but not least, Peggy the owner was fantastic, she’s really helpful and pleasant. Overall, the place was truly a relaxing foundation for a great vacation week.

Our stay was perfect. The house is exactly as advertised and the owners are very responsive. The beach is a short 4 minute walk with sidewalks making and cross walks making it very safe. Would definitely stay here again.

My daughter, granddaughter and I enjoyed staying here. The house was peaceful, clean and comfortable. We each had our own room in which to chill (living room, back porch and den.) Were it not for the pandemic, we would have invited another family to stay with us as there was an unused bedroom and the den. Given that we were there during the pandemic, I’ll comment on some of the related pluses. It is easy to socially distance in the backyard. There are two separate sitting areas so children can be in one and the adults in the other. You can get food delivery from Shaw’s and alcohol delivery through Drizly. (Look for the delivery though because our food was delivered at the side door and the alcohol at the front door; the door we used is the back door by the parking. Both deliveries sat unnoticed for a while.) The location is a very short walk to the beach and a longer walk to the Main Street which has lots of restaurants. My granddaughter says the house was “really cool”. We enjoyed taking a trip to the national seashore as well as to the Cape Cod rail trail for biking. Peggy, the owner, was extremely helpful ahead of the trip as well as while we were there. Thanks! I would suggest, that no matter where you plan to vacation, check the state quarantine recommendations or rules!

We loved the home. It had plenty of space for all of us. The kids could be in the den while the adults were in the living room or sun room which was nice. The yard was private and kept the little ones contained. Easy walk to the beach and pretty close to Main Street Hyannis for anything else you need. Peggy and Craig were great to deal with and very responsive to any of our needs. Highly recommend this house!

We have stayed on the Cape many times and we have had excellent luck through VRBO. However, this rental exceeded all expectations and was by far the best. Not only was the house even more beautiful than the pictures, Peggy thought of everything. From the welcome basket and beautiful linens to the hair towels (yes, towels specifically for hair!), nothing was missed. The cleaning crew was also amazing leaving the house perfectly clean. There outdoor space was perfect for our large family with 8 Adirondack chairs in one section and a large dining table and chairs set up in another. There were beach chairs and beautiful beach towels and we were a short walking distance from the beach. It was a 1/2 mile from main street and a little longer to the harbor all in a quiet neighborhood. This property has everything you need and more! I would not hesitate to rent this property again or to recommend it to a friend. We had a chance to meet Peggy and my niece loved her so much, she is hoping to be adopted by her! She seriously said that!!

This rental has it all- generous bedroom accommodations plus plenty of bathrooms for a large family gathering. It is steps away from the beach and less than a mile walk to the downtown shopping and restaurants. I should mention the wonderful well-equipped yard with a family size dining area plus gas grill and lounging area. The owners were wonderful to work with and proactive about any issues that they thought we may have with the house. We didn’t have any issues but appreciated their concern. My only negative had nothing to do with the house or owners. We were disappointed with the nearby beach/ocean which was very weedy making swimming and wading a bit nasty. It could have been just the time of year or a special circumstance but we consequently spent little time at the beach which was a disappointment. On the other hand we could have traveled to another beach but didn’t want to deal with the parking congestion. Overall this property is amazing. We were constantly telling each other how fortunate we were to select this property sight unseen.

The house was perfect for our family. Location is great, short walk to the beach, downtown and the ferry. Excellent outdoor space to eat and hangout. The yard is fenced in so there are no worries for little children running around. Inside was immaculate and had lots of indoor space with a nice open floor plan. Loved that each bedroom had a full bath and also a large outdoor shower space. We cannot wait to come back next year!

We loved staying at this property. Peggy and Craig were awesome and available for any questions. The location can’t get any better. A short walk to Keys beach or downtown Hyannis. We love grilling out in the backyard and just being on vacation. We had 9 people staying in the house and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The property is updated and super clean. Having 5.5 bathrooms was also awesome.

Peggy's cottage at 385 Sea St. exceeded all our expectations. The location could not be better for a place not directly on the beach. We had a short couple minutes (at most) walk to Sea Street Beach. We also could walk up Sea St. to a convenience store for emergency supplies or all the way up Sea St. to hit the heart of Hyannis - Main St. No need for a car to go to dinner. The house itself is truly beautiful. So warm and cozy yet modern and spread out with a lovely sun porch (with an en-suite full bathroom) and an almost in-law suite like extension downstairs. That extension has a fireplace, a full walk-in closet and en-suite bath. These two rooms join the existing downstairs' two twin beds room with an en suite, the large modern kitchen, eating area and lovely formal living room with a fireplace. The house was very easy to settle into and feel comfortable. Upstairs had three bedrooms. Two have modern en suite baths. There is an additional modern 1/2 bath. We had a hot week on the cape but the house has a/c that kept us comfortable when in the house. After returning to the house from the beach we took full advantage of the outside shower to wash off the salt and sand. We also cleaned our collected sea shells, too. The Sea Street Beach is a gold mine for shell collectors. Peggy made the whole experience all the better. She should be the poster portrait for gracious hostess; maybe even write a book on it. Prior to the trip she provided detailed directions and exceptional ideas for us for our daughter's Sweet 16 excursion gift. She welcomed us into the house will a lovely gift basket of coffee, wine and salt water taffy. In several locations around the house she provided brochures and "things to do" ideas. During our stay she promptly answered a couple questions we had. She went above and beyond, too, accommodating a special request for members of our group who had to fly internationally to get home. Peggy herself makes us want to return as soon as possible. If VRBO gave me more than 5 Stars as an option I would use them all. Peggy and her cottage are dream makers.

From check-in to checkout it was flawless. The owner was there to greet us and show us around. She even brought a high chair the next day for our grandson. The house is in a perfect location to walk to the beach and to Main Street in Hyannis. Everything in the house was truly new, beautiful, and spotless! We would love to make this a yearly destination as it is that perfect. Thanks!

This was a great spot for our first time on the Cape ! We had a local beach to walk to, others to bike to, some not too far to drive to. Shops were a quick stroll and this spot is really central to most attractions. The home is lovely, modern yet charming and comfortable. Thank you Peggy for the hospitality and the extra touches ! We love Cape Cod !
