WOW! As beautiful as the pictures but with a level of history that is such a privilege to experience. The beds are extremely comfortable. Everything is pristine. The large pool is beautiful. Horses on site, their own wine produced from grapes on the property. Plus the nicest hosts! An absolutely GEM!

Everything! The atmosphere was so welcoming and warm❤️Loved the place, the horses were amazing and really well taken care for. The room was gorgeous, we slept so good and the breakfast was freshl and delicious. Can't wait for our next time at Quinta Lusitânia and spend a longer time there 😍

Beautiful property, recently renovated with the most amazing hosts! We had a blast! The horse ride was super fun and the breakfast was exquisite. Also we managed to come without a car, the host provided us a transfer, and the town has a cheap and reliable taxi system.

We stayed at Quinta Lusitania for 1 night this weekend, I wished we’d booked for a week the whole experience from welcome to leaving was beyond exceptional. If you are in the area book to stay here you will not be disappointed .

Nothing to dislike.

Extremely well located. Manor house in perfect conditions of preservation keeping the old charm and modern luxuries in perfect sync. The owners are very friendly and made our wedding anniversary celebration stay memorable. A special thank you to them. Amazing breakfast with local products and with attention to personalized eating requirements.

A/C would be a nice addition in the upstairs rooms.

This was a little detour off the camino and well worth it. The hosts are charming and made a superb meal for dinner. The house is full of charm and a wonderful bonus was a tour of the church across the road in the morning.

We liked it so much we had to extend our stay for an extra night.

Being a seasoned traveler and explorer for both domestic and foreign locations, I've stayed in places within a huge quality range, from very modest to upscale. Quinta Lusitânia is second to none. This stay in Quinta Lusitânia was much more than a comfortable bed and breakfast - it's a full experience in many different ways. It was probably the most pleasant stay I've ever experienced. Miguel and Christina (the owners) are masters in the art of hospitality and went the extra mile to make our stay as perfect as possible. I'm not going to spoil the experience by detailing my stay and what makes me really want to return. Book a couple of nights, go find it for yourself - I promise you won't regret.

Quinta Lusitania is just a wonderful place. The beautiful house is surrounded by a flowering garden, grazing horses and a great pool area where you can lounge on nice sunbeds. The room was a great mix of beautiful old furniture and modern comfort with an amazing bed. The breakfast was above all expectations with a greats selection of bread, croissants, fresh fruit and homemade marmelades in the beautiful dining room. The Dinner that the owner Miguel cooks is also amazing and absolutly to recomend trying. The stable contains eight beautiful horses and are available for riding with the great guidence of Tina. Quinta Lusitania is a beautiful and peaceful place where the incredibly friendly owners makes your stay a dream well worth the money.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Quinta Lusitania. The proprietors were very charming and provided us with a warm felt stay. Breakfast was wonderful with fresh-cooked muffins, an assortment of cheeses and hams and fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee yogurts and wonderful breads, delivered daily and baked by an elderly neighboring couple. A first class guesthouse, boutique property.

I enjoyed a perfect & healthy breakfast in a beautiful furnished room. This old farmhouse is excellent restored, surrounded by a nice flowering garden with parasols around a refreshing pool and situated in a silent countryside where at night the heaven is full of stars again. I like horse riding and I was surprised by 8 wonderful horses in a very modern, clean and perfect organised stable with large horse pastures. The rides under a well trained and careful leadership, sometimes with other guests, led us through hidden areas to a secret place on a nice river. For me a dream came true and I will return to this new kind of agrotourism. In one hour driving I was walking on the sandy Atlantic beaches next to Aveiro and in one an a half hour I visited on another day the old and intersting town of Porto...

I did not miss anything, because I could contact any time the lady of the house, which is a very experienced horse trainer, or the owner of the house, which is a noble Portugues Visconte.
