Master Bed and Bathroom Suite, 10 Gehminuten vom Zentrum der historischen Innenstadt von Nevada entfernt. Privater separater Eingang und Parkplatz abseits der Straße. Abgeschiedenes Deck mit Blick auf eine waldreiche Umgebung und einen saisonalen Bach. Zu den Annehmlichkeiten zählen ein Kühlschrank, eine Mikrowelle, eine Kaffeemaschine, ein Fernseher und WLAN. Queensize-Bett. Das Haus wurde ursprünglich 1891 erbaut und vor ca. 14 Jahren komplett renoviert. Diese Schlaf- und Badezimmer-Suite befindet sich im hinteren Teil unseres Hauses. Sie gehen 15 Stufen hinunter und durch ein Tor an der Seite des Hauses und dann 5 weitere Stufen hinauf, um zum Deck vor dem Raum zu gelangen. Wir haben einen Hund, aber sie wird nicht in Ihren Raum gelangen können, während Sie hier sind. Der Highway 49 liegt nicht weit hinter unserem Haus, sodass Sie Straßenlärm hören. Nachts wird es sehr ruhig. Links vom Deck haben wir eine Vogelvoliere.
Unsere Auffahrt hat einen Gefälle. Die meisten unserer Gäste haben keine Probleme beim Auf- und Abfahren. Wenn Sie jedoch ein großes Fahrzeug haben, müssen Sie sicher sein, dass Sie die abfallende Auffahrt zurücklegen können, da möglicherweise nicht genügend Platz zum Wenden vorhanden ist, bevor Sie die Auffahrt hinauffahren. This lovely little place is in a great location for walking to town, grocery store, or even the movie theater. It’s in a quiet, green neighborhood and the porch and yard are private and peaceful. The room is decorated beautifully with local art and posters, and the owners also stock it with guide books and trail maps. The bed is very comfortable and there is a fan, heater and air conditioner. The bathroom is nice and big, but not super private, so probably better for couples who know each other well 😉. We loved our stay here. Jerry and Bev were very friendly and provided little extras that made our stay even easier. The one time we messaged them they answered right away and helped us out, no problem. Definitely would recommend this sweet little hideaway.

The inside chairs are so uncomfortable. A table and chairs would be way more usable. Also bench outside was very uncomfortable for 2 people.

Overall wonderful. Great location with some traffic noise from the freeway across the yard. Some foot traffic noise above us upstairs. Maybe slippers are in order to reduce the noise. Both times we stayed here the bathroom tub has a very slow drain. This time, the towels were rough, just in from hanging outdoors. Soft and cushy is best. We love the lighting in the yard and fairy light projection touch!

Overall, we were very pleased with the venue and all aspects of checking in and out were very easy. While we didn't actually meet the owners, we could feel the sincere effort they made to make our stay most comfortable. Only negative would be proximty of freeway. However, when inside the room the freeway noise was largely non-existent. Big positive is fact that one can walk to downtown Neavada City in 10 minutes. Wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

This is a lovely spot...location (even though not far off busy hwy) was quiet at night, room attractive and comfortable, well-appointed. Heater worked well as did Keurig coffeemaker. Communication from owners before arrival was excellent. Very enjoyable.

We were visiting Nevada City for Halloween. This particular property was just a few blocks from the downtown area and many local restaurants.
All we needed was a bedroom and bathroom for our stay which this property provided. The room was nice and clean. An extra heater was provided in case the room got cold. There was a nice porch with a bench you could sit on to enjoy the beautiful yard. At night the trees were all lite up which was so beautiful. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. If we visit Nevada City again, we will definitely book this room again.

This is a very nice property just 1/2 walkable mile to downtown Nevada City. Pros: The bedroom offers a queen-size bed, side tables with lamps, and 2 rocking chairs for seating. The bathroom is roomy with double sinks, plenty of counter space and a tub/shower combo (good water pressure). In the corner of the bathroom (butting up to one of the sink areas) is a mini-fridge with microwave on top and a Keurig coffeemaker on top of the microwave. The owner has also provided a canister of cold water, Keurig coffee inserts, and milk/half & half. There is also a porch off the bedroom (this is access to the room) with a small Setee and table. It looks out over the back yard and in cooler weather would be a great place to sit.
Cons: Parking is tight and a little challenging. There is a steep staircase from the driveway down to the porch / room access and then 5 steps up to the porch. We had full-size suitcases and were not able to navigate the steps carrying them -- had to grab essentials and walk them down, leaving our suitcases in the car. There was a closet and hangers to hang things but overall the room is a bit tight as the rocking chairs abut the A/C / cooling fan.
Overall -- good location and a good choice for someone who is athletic and traveling light.

Finch aviary. The room was spacious and very comfortable and perfect for our stay. Close to the quaint downtown area too. It’s a bit tricky on the parking, but otherwise great.

The owners of this place went above and beyond what you might expect. They were very friendly and helpful. It turned out that my significant other left several items behind, including leaving an item at a local restaurant. The owners arranged to go to the restaurant, pick up the item and ship it to us. The place is lovely to stay at with a nice porch and a beautiful backyard.

We loved our overnight stay. Our room and bathroom were immaculate. We had coffee on the deck and enjoyed the secluded backyard in the morning. We loved how close it was to downtown Nevada City. I would definitely recommend this vrbo.

I was very comfy and cozy in this charming property. The room was very nice and extremely clean. The bathroom was well-stocked and large. The room came with a fridge, coffee, and tea service. The covered deck with outdoor seating overlooked a beautiful garden with delightful garden lighting at night. Very well located within a short walk to historic downtown Nevada City. I would not hesitate to recommend and stay here again.

We were only there for a short one night trip but the room was warm, clean and inviting. They hosts thought of everything and had fresh water and glasses next to the sink and chocolates next to the bed. We would highly recommend staying here and will be back if we are in the area again.

What a cozy sweet stay we had! My momma and I were visiting for the Victorian Christmas Event. It was quite a special place to rest. We watched holiday movies and played cards. The owners were quick to respond to questions. The twinkling lights in the trees at night were a sweet surprise and then waking to a dusting of snow and greetings from the zebra finches, was the icing on the cake. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

I love this property. The hosts are pros and the place is great. I had a tiny bit of "wheels spinning" on the wet driveway asphalt pulling out and up the drive to the street this morning after it had rained -- and I have almost new tires. This time of year -- this could happen -- as could snow and ice. Summer time -- no problem at all! Love the BIRDS, too!

This is a very clean and well designed room and bathroom with a very nice deck with an "over hang" making the deck cozy and rain and snow proof. I have a fairly large SUV and would not have wanted a larger vehicle to have to turn around and back up and park in the tight provided space. You are staying below the owners home -- so noise from above does occur during regular hours that people are up -- additionally the noise from Highway 49 is ever present except at the middle hours of the night and early morning. That said, you cannot beat the price or the location to Nevada City.
