Spoke with the owner a couple times. No issues just a question or two about the town. House was clean, upper deck was very cool and views were spectacular.

The house is located within walking distance to almost everything in Jim Thorpe. It was so nice to not have to drive anywhere and just leave the car in the driveway and go exploring. We really enjoyed the view from the tree house/gazebo out back! Bed in the front bedroom was super comfy.

Convient location to several different kinds of activities. The outdoor space was very unique and if the weather had cooperated, I would have have scheduled several hours just to sit in it and enjoy it.

What a wonderful little town. Can’t wait to go back.

This house is a slice of well-preserved history. Plenty of space inside and out, walking distance to shops and restaurants, and Steve is the nicest and most responsive host we've ever had.

Love this home. Located in JIM THORPE historic area, a short 1/2 mile from shops and restaurants and 3 miles from the Lake. Steven and His wife were more than accomadating. Will definitely stay again.

My wife and I loved the property and it's convenient location. It was very clean and private. The owner left suggestions for things to do around town and places to eat. Everything was in walking distance and worth the trip.

The home is well equipped and convenient to the outdoor activities we wanted to pursue, as well as restaurants and shopping and other attractions. The host provided lots of helpful information and was communicative when necessary. Would book again. Thank you very much!

Smooth transaction. Owner communication was great. Only stayed 2 nights to get a good day in Jim Thorpe. Lots of local info provided in brochures provided in Kitchen. Roomy accommodations. What a great place! Great location, lots of room and lots of extras! Close enough to walk to everything; biking, hiking, restaurants, shopping, museums, etc. The house is historic and has lots of character and charm!

Good location and nice property.

We had a wonderful stay at this comfortable home in Jim Thorpe. My husband ran in two races during the Jim Thorpe Running Festival and was able to easily access the starting points for the race. It’s easy to walk from the home to various points around town, but just outside of the hustle and bustle of downtown life. While the weekend was rainy and dreary, we spent good family time in the living room playing games and reading. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room to spread out, and we had everything we needed. I’m hoping to return and spend some time in the mountainside gazebo. It was a great little spot with views out into the town, but we couldn’t use it much due to the rain. I bet it will be beautiful in the fall. Stephen, thank you for sharing your home with us!! It will be our new go-to place to stay when visiting Jim Thorpe!!

Home was exactly like it was advertised. Historic and comfortable with a coveted parking spot! Well within walking distance to everything in downtown Jim Thorpe. Check in and out process was fantastic. Didn't get to use the decks since we were so busy exploring but will the next time we stay!

A great home from home experience. The parking space meant we could leave our car and walk everywhere which is especially coveted at the weekend. A very comfortable main bedroom bed and comfy sofas downstairs. Also appreciated the easy check out.

This is our fourth stay at this property. Everything about this place is perfect. The place has such warmth and such charm. The location is perfect. Easy walk into town and all of the restaurants and shops. There's a gazebo in back to enjoy all the views. You really will love it!!!!! 5 stars.

Home was exactly as advertised….Historic and simply charming! Located just outside the busy section of historic downtown but close enough to walk to the train station where we boarded for a train/bike excursion. A Catholic Church was just 2 doors down from the rental, which was awesome! House was well equipped, comfortable, and super clean. We spent Saturday evening on the deck and so enjoyed the nature surrounding us. Wonderful getaway!

The property was just as I expected, Historic yet modern in Kitchen and bath. The location was perfect only 3 miles from the lake and a short walk down to the train station and eateries.

I had rented this property for my parents to stay nearby when they visited me and the family. They loved it from their first moment stepping inside. Welcoming decor, cozy floorplan, and a great home to relax in while visiting Jim Thorpe. Property manager was amazing, highly responsive to any questions and handled an unexpected (small) issue with the best customer service I could have imagined. I would definitely rent again.
