Very pleasant experience. So quiet and peaceful!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is great! Our dog loved all the new scents and we loved sitting on the table outside, relaxing to the sounds of the river below. This spot was also a good jumping off place for hikes.

Except for the weather (rain & excessive heat), this is a very peaceful place. Sitting outside over the river side listening to the river flow and watching the bald eagle(s) fly to and fro is very relaxing.
Lots of activities in the area and good restaurants in Blakeslee and Lake Harmony & Boulder Lake area.

saw tons of birds sitting on the front porch. waxwings, black and white warblers, great blue herons, song sparrows. Even though the neighboring units about 150 ft to the left and 150ft behind us were occupied, they were quiet.

Pros:
Location is amazing, though not as private as it seems.
Very short walk to the falls and some really great spots to just sit with your feet in the water.
Kitchenette was great for what we needed and the charcoal grill outside served us well.
Cons:
No direct access to the water from the cabin without risking injury. Doable if you really want to get there, but not very practical.
Place badly needs curtains, especially the bathroom considering the window is pretty much in the shower.
Couch smelled like it was peed on by dogs in the past.
Bed was not comfortable.
No bathroom outlet (minor inconvenience).
Dead mouse under the fridge that made the place stink for a while. Lacy was great about it and it was handled. It's a cabin in the woods, these things aren't outside the realm of possibilities. Just worth noting for future guests to be on the lookout if they smell anything strange.
Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. It's peaceful, serene, and relaxing.
Most of the things noted in this review are NOT complaints, just things we felt should be noted for future guests to consider. Everyone has different preferences, and some of these things might not align with what others want or expect for their stay. It's also worth reminding that this is a historic cabin, in the wilderness, away from creature comforts and it will feel exactly like that with critters and bugs of all varieties.

We wanted a quick weekend getaway to unwind at a location that was very basic accommodations, no tourists, minimal contact with people, and allowed us to spend a lot of time in nature. Mission accomplished...we found it at the Lehigh Cabin. The cabin's location directly above the river and private outdoor area made it perfect for relaxing all day and evening. Two Adirondack chairs, an outdoor table and a firepit were the essential things we needed to enjoy hours at the cabin. Short walks on the property lead you to a beautiful, roaring waterfall or down to the gentle flowing river bank where the sights, sounds, and feeling of cool water are a delight to your senses.

Place was incredible, on a bank right above the Leigh river. Total privacy, inside was just so cozy. Our dog loved it too?

The perfect place to get away from life’s busy schedules and retreat into the woods for 3 days. We drank mulled wine outside by the fire under the stars, went hiking and fished the stocked waters, caught trout, enjoyed the beautiful views of the falls and nature and slept soundly listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. Loved it and highly recommend this treasure!

The Hostess did not introduce herself when we arrived to her property. She greeted us and gave us directions to the cabin. We thought she was just being a friendly neighbor. We did not realize she was the hostess until we received a text while we were putting our bags inside.
The Hostess's dog jumped up on our jeep while we were receiving directions to the cabin. We are avid dog lovers so the greeting of the dog was not an issue. Though we love dogs we still believe in dog etiquette and that your dog should not be allowed to jump on other people's property. The cabin is cozy and it is quiet on the property. The view and sound of the water is lovely. The view is beautiful. We loved the fireplace. However the cleanliness of the cabin was not good. It was dust on surfaces, cobwebs in just about every corner of the ceilings and walls and lights, old toothpaste splatter on the bathroom mirror and wall, old food splatter on the kitchen wall. The bottom of the shower curtain liner was brown (looked like a mixture of mold mildew and soap scum) and the shower curtain was stained. That made it seem like the cabin was not cared for and this made me uncomfortable. The bed was not comfortable and the steps leading to the water were very dangerous. My opinion, the access should be blocked off. The steps leading to the cabin are also dangerous. The slate is broken and crumbled on some of the steps so you have to watch your step when walking up and down them.

This was my 2nd stay there. Its picturesque. Bald eagles, deer, waterfalls up stream. Sitting bye the river is amazing. Its so peaceful there. Property owner's communication is great. Easy to get ahold of and responds quickly threw the app or phone. Had a wonderful time. Will be booking again once I recover from shoulder surgery. I love it there.

My best friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this perfect little cabin!
Pick up some firewood and kickback - enjoy the fire pit outside and listen to the river - you have a front row view! Or if it is raining - enjoy the sound on the roof while you warm up by the fireplace.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin. We were lucky enough to arrive after a snow storm and it was beautiful! The cabin was just what we were looking for....a quiet place to "get away from it all". The fireplace was wonderful and we had everything we would need. The view was beautiful and we look forward to going back without the snow so we can explore the property grounds. A fun surprise was hearing about the history of the property. Make sure to check out the binder with information on the history as well as dining options nearby. Highly recommend!

Spent the President Day weekend with my wife at the Cabin. Fantastic! Just enough snow to make it wbite, with a little more addedbon Saturday. Fireplace fire made the cabin cozy and warm. The icicles along the river were a nice touch. Adam & Lacy were a pleasure to deal with. Excellent overall experience.

Our original time to stay here was over Christmas, but we both unfortunately contracted the virus-that-shall-not-be-named. Our hosts were very understanding and allowed us to reschedule.
We finally got to come to this gorgeous location a few weeks later, and we were blown away by everything about it. The photos do not do the view justice. The view of the river is absolutely breathtaking, and the cabin actually sits much higher on the hillside than it looks in the photos. You are looking down on the wild, untamed Lehigh River from high above, in this quaint mountainside cabin for two.
The fireplace and rustic design was exactly what we were looking for in our Winter getaway. The fireplace takes a little while to get going, but once there is a good bed of coals, it keeps the cabin warm very easily. For situations where a tenant might not want a fire, there are built-in electric heaters throughout.
The living room chairs are exquisitely designed from horn and hide, and are like nothing I've ever seen before. The lamps are made from hide and tree trunks, and the coffee table is a work of art.
We spent our days hiking through Natural Lands Bear Creek Preserve. We are big NatLands fans, so we were very happy to be so close to one of their tracts of land.
We will definitely be back. We love this place! Don't tell anyone about it!

We had such a cozy and relaxing time! The cabin is so cute and had an amazing view of the water. It was even better than the pictures. Our two dogs enjoyed it as well. There was a good amount of snow so we spent the time in front of the fireplace, playing games, having a few drinks and walking the dogs around a little.

Beautiful, comfortable and peaceful location right next to the river. We absolutely loved how private it was, and that our cat could come along. Climate control was fast acting, the shower was nice and hot, and the kitchenette had all we needed, plus the largest mini fridge we have ever seen! The outdoor firepit was a favorite part.

The cabin was pretty much as described. All the heaters kept the cabin cozy and there was a nice stack of firewood for us to use. The cabin is pretty secluded, but it is not the only one on the property. We were the only ones staying in any of the cabins this weekend, so that made it extra special.
The towels and blankets were high quality and plush.
Even if there were others staying in the other cabins, it would still be a marvelous place to relax and unwind. It is still very private. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

At first when you pull in we didn’t expect the cabin to be so close to a few other buildings, the owners home. However it was so cozy and cute! We loved the peacefulness of being on the river! It was the perfect size and gateway! Absolutely stunning views and defiantly worth taking the hike to the back of the property with the picnic table!

I can’t say enough about this cabin. It’s quite, beautiful and a much needed rest from our everyday lives. The falls cannot be described. Lacy is very responsive to all of our needs via text. They offer many services such as wood delivery, food and drink delivery and anything else you may need. We love it here and will return. Also, a thank you to Adam for getting the game on the tv.

We loved being right on the water and the cabin was cute and welcoming. Host was nice and friendly. We spent a week and everything was great. The only thing that wasn’t to our liking was the bed but as that is a preference (seems suited to back sleepers as it is very stiff) we just went out and got a 2 inch gel pad which remedied this for us. We would love to stay again especially in other seasons.

This spot was perfectly picturesque. It was cozy and quaint. Close to grocery stores, hiking trails and even Lake Harmony. I loved making a fire and sitting outside overlooking the river. So beautiful and peaceful. When it comes to cooking, prepare like you're going camping and just use the grill outside. I made great meals on that grill!
