You have to get the keys from a nearby location first but the directions were very clear for the entire check in process. The place itself had a beautiful view, plenty of space, nice people, and was located in a very convenient location. My family had such an amazing time and were so grateful to chose a place that gave us no trouble but was instead extremely comfortable and felt like a home to us. Highly recommend staying in this condo no matter the season.😊

The most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed but some frustrating aspects-mainly parking for only one vehicle resulting in much time shuttling or walking from gondola lot. Small inconveniences were- more than one towel per guest seems like an obvious need (we asked for more and were told we had to wait until the fourth day to get more). No oven mitts or pizza cutter was found so we had to purchase those. More trash bags were needed. The condo, pool and hot tub and walking path out front were gorgeous and we loved being able to walk to the village. Very quiet. Overall we loved our stay.

Its a nice condo, GREAT LOCATION - lots of furniture, nice view, balcony overlooking the pool and slopes, well equipped. ski-in and out. elevator was very slow, There is only one for the whole building. you will end up taking the stairs or waiting a lot. Parking is awesome, its underground, they do have carts to load, unload your gear from the car to the condo.

Lovely property and a perfect location. Truly Ski on/off and with a nicely heated hot tub awaiting after a day on the slopes. Also, built in boot dryers in the ski lockers is a nice plus!Parking more than one car is a bit more tricky, though. TL;DR - property management may claim there are two spots and give you a second pass, but then direct you to pay $25/night to park in the paid lot.

Overall the property was nicely appointed and as pictured. The elevator was not working when we arrived so unloading everything was not pleasant. Ironically we read previous reviews about this issue and the rental company assured us it was repaired before booking. The wash machine was not working and not able to be fixed before we left. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow - this was evident in the TV voice delay and sound. The rental company offered a text communication system but the response took hours - better to call, staff was courteous. The unit is not air conditioned so we appreciated the fans during our August stay. A ceiling fan would be helpful in the great room. If you have the windows open, please know you are directly over the pool and the noise travels from there as well as the patio. Enclosed garage was very convenient. Departure process was super easy.

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this unit with friends. The unit was spotless and well maintained. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, the living space was cozy and comfortable, and the deck was amazing! Communication with the management company was easy and convenient, with a prompt and helpful response to our inquiry. Finally, the location offered easy access to River Run, so we never had to get the car out of the garage. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we hope to return!

The location of Lone Eagle is awesome this is a true ski in ski out. However the Lone Eagle building does not have a functional elevator which means to get to this unit you have to climb 5 set of stairs to get to your unit. This is a daunting task with suitcases, groceries and small children. The elevator has not been functional for several months yet we where informed by the host only 3 days prior to arrival. We thought the elevator situation was a temporary issue but as mentioned before it’s been going on for a very long time and the host had this information but did not share in time for us to find other accommodations.
The unit itself is lovely but a bit dated. The unit is a corner unit and has a great view of the slopes. The mattresses need to be changed as they are lumpy.
Recap: if you plan on staying call ahead and ask about the elevator being operational and ask about the mattresses.

Beautiful Condo overlooking the mountain,pool & hot-tub below. First class amenities....The Unit itself and building was very nice. We will be staying @ this property again once the elevator issue gets resolved. Only downside was the elevator was broken.... and we were on fourth floor. We did not find out that the elevator was broken until the day we flew out to Denver..... and apparently the elevator has been broken for several weeks ( more than 6 weeks)....I felt the Rental company should have notified us of this inconvenience when booking the unit.

The condo was great, we had a good time. There were several things that were frustrating however. Standing water in one of the showers. I believe we paid a premium for quality and location. The biggest dissapointment was no elevator. We had to navigate 5 flights of stairs every single time we went anywhere. Nothing like 4 trips up and down 5 flights just to get your stuff to the room. Not once did I even see anyone working on the elevators. Yet I wasnt offered any compensation for the ridiculous inconvenience.oh Im sorry they offered me $50. Less than 1% of the total bill. Unacceptable! That was a simple slap to the face. Profit over making it right.

We were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful this condo is! It was even nicer than the pictures. Tastefully decorated and the communication with the property manager was the best and easiest process I’ve ever had. Only downside was the maintenance on the elevator but wasn’t their fault and didn’t detract from the stay. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The night before we were scheduled to travel to the unit at Lone Eagle we received the following message from Summit County Mountain Retreats a Premier Host. “We are reaching out to inform you that the HOA of Lone Eagle in Keystone, CO confirmed that the elevator is not working at this time ….”. I informed them that my partner had knee issues which would make stair climbing painful. We traded messages about the status of the elevator repair during the day while we were traveling. When we arrived later that evening, we discovered that the unit was located five flights of steps above the parking area. My partner made it up the steps with great difficulty and pain. I spoke to a family (on the steps) and they indicated that they had been there for two weeks and the elevators had never worked. The next morning, we asked to be located to another unit with a working elevator and after waiting for a response until about noon suggested that a refund would also work. We had booked for four nights, after a “lively” conversation with the host, we agreed to pay for one night and would not be charged the cleaning fee or the service fee. The refund we received was fifty one percent of our total stay, so our one night in the unit cost forty nine percent of our four day stay.. Also not included in the property description was the crane parked in front of the building that appeared to be for roof repair activities and that the pool and hot tub were closed for repair/construction. The Americans with Disabilities Act prohibits private places of public accommodation from discriminating against individuals with disabilities. Non-working elevators for extended periods of time is an ADA concern.

The size and comfort of the condo were perfect for our family of 4. Everything was clean and the towels were awesome. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook a couple of nights. We loved the location-easy to walk to the village but away from any noise. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Would definitely reserve again.

We stayed for 3 weeks (May-June). The property was everything we hoped for. This unit is on the fourth floor overlooking the pool and ski run. The unit was well stocked (except for cleaning supplies) and the Lone Eagle building and grounds are kept impeccably clean. The management company was always helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend, I would just make sure they understood that there is only one parking spot and no free overnight parking in Keystone.

Best ski in/out condo ever! There are ski lockers on the first floor by the back door and it was 25 steps from the door to the slope. Large ski lockers with hoses to dry your boots and gloves overnight.Condo was large and comfortable and well equipped. We will rent here again next time we come to Keystone

We stayed at Lone Eagle #3042 for our annual Family ski trip. We always stay at Lone Eagle because of the convenient location (ski-in ski-out). The condo was located on mountain side at River Run - loved watching the skiers and the snow coming down. The condo was clean and big enough for our family of 5.

This place is FANTASTIC! As you have read in other reviews - TRUE ski in ski out! The kids were the first ones on the lift each morning then would come in for lunch and back out until dinner. The night skiing was awesome as well. River Run Village was a perfect spot for hanging out and dining as well. The Lone Eagle Condo was amazing - very clean and with 3 bedrooms / 3 full bathrooms - plenty of space!

Carpets had recently been cleaned however furniture had not been returned to the floor. Chairs and coffee table were piled on to the sofa and dining room table. All bedrooms had chairs and dressers stacked on the beds. Pictures were taken.

We had a wonderful time with our family at 3042 Lone Eagle. We have stayed at many VRBO properties at the beach, skiing, etc and can’t say enough about our experience at this Condo. The booking was simple,location to pick up the keys was easy and just the added value differences Summit County provided to answer any of your questions was second to none. The Condo location couldn’t be better 30 yards downhill to the lift. Private locker with heated boot warmers great pool and hot tub. The Condo was fantastic and this was our second stay at 3042. 4th floor Condo with an unbelievable view of the slope. Very comfortable furniture and all the amenities you could ask for in the kitchen. We cooked meals and when tired we skied right to the door and ate in our condo. This is first class all the way and the beds and upgraded linens were unbelievable. We have skied all the mountains and if you want luxury and ease of ski in ski out stay here. Looking forward to coming back soon!

We had a wonderful Christmas at Lone Eagle. The property was clean and well laid-out. The proximity to skiing doesn't get any better, and we love the little path to River Run Village. Thanks for a great stay!
