Although our stay was cut short with the hurricane, the house was wonderful! Great location, convenient to everything, clean, well stocked with everything you need. Very thankful for the hospitality of the owners. Highly recommend.

We loved St. George Island!! Would love another vacation in this beautiful place. The house suited our family well and w loved the location-steps from the bay and short walk to beach only negative is that it could have been cleaned better and porch es set up. Also the hull cover on kayak was missing so we couldn’t use it

Our family loved our stay the week of July 4!! There was plenty of room for lots of us and having the golf cart (free of charge) and the paddle board was wonderful. We never used the kayak. The owner was very respondent with anything we needed. Every VRBO I’ve stayed in has had a few different ways of doing things so I’ll say make sure to take your own TP, garbage bags, dishwasher pods,etc. I think the housecleaning crew working for this owner is also taking advantage of the possibility that the owners cannot put their eyes on this property often and they are doing a rushed job, but I expressed my concerns about specifics with them personally. I love this quiet area of the bay. Views are great (but sometimes hot) from the three main bedrooms. Golf cart ride is quick to beach access 11 or 10 where we usually were. The outdoor shower was great and there are also a lot of extra toys and beach stuff plus a water hose behind the shower. As business owners ourselves (my husband) we know that some other people don’t take care of their own belongings, let alone other peoples. I hope that the cleaning businesses stop trying to do too many homes in too short of time and start taking a little more care with the people who hire them and their homes and guests AND communicate needs with owners.

We had a great time at island fun! The place was spacious and smartly decorated and clean. The property owner was very responsive when we had an issue with the golf cart and got it corrected as quickly as possible and got us a loaner in the meantime. The beds were very comfortable - always an important consideration in my book. The kids loved using the kayak and paddle board in the bay. Everything was truly great. My only “very small” recommendation would be a couple of better knives for food prep and a couple of larger mixing/serving bowls in the kitchen. We will definately stay here again!

Enjoyed the house and amenities. Brought a dog, no signs of pet stains/smells. Had to reach out to the property manager about a small question and had a quick response. Another review mentioned lack of kitchenware. I thought there was more than enough! I would recommend this property to anyone!

This was our second stay at Island Fun. We visit St George every year and Island Fun has everything we need to make our visit relaxing and enjoyable. Lots of beach gear, bikes and having a golf cart is awesome. The house was updated since our stay in 2022 and looks great. We love St George and we have loved staying at Island Fun!

This house was great. We spent so much time on the screened in porch. It was awesome to have the kayak, paddle board, golf cart and bikes. Tons of little extras like beach toys for the baby, pots and pans and a charcoal grill - we cooked almost every night and we flew from Michigan so there was not space for sand toys. Everyone had their own space but also the table could accommodate all of us coming together for meals and card games. We would definitely stay there again!!

5 high school classmates who graduated in 1974 got together for a pre-50 year reunion gathering. St. George Island and surrounding areas offered a variety of activities that entertained all. The house was a short walk to view either the sunrise or beautiful sunsets. The group found sufficient kitchen equipment to cook 2 meals each day. The common space was great for group activities. Would use again but would hope it was a little cleaner.

Location was excellent. Internet / WiFi was very intermittent - available less than 50% of time (despite rebooting the router multiple times per day). Not the place to stay if you need to be connected.

A lovely place to stay. The only glitch was that the propane tank for the grill was empty, which we didn't learn until we went to prepare dinner. Even after having to go find one to buy, the grill did not function very well.

There are three “ longtime” friends who enjoy girls’ trips together. This was perfect for our needs. The house was clean, nicely decorated, and had plenty of sunlight. There was a screened in porch and a nice front and back porch . We loved puttering around the island on the golf cart.

What a great space to spend a family vacation that included 9 of us! I especially loved the screened in porch and the outdoor sitting spaces. We made good use of the bikes and golf cart. More silverware and steak knives would have been a help to us. Also, safety lighting for the steps is recommended. We enjoyed our stay and would love to spend time here again!

Had a great stay on one of the most authentic island beaches we’ve visited. I’ve been there before and we’ll be back!

We love staying at SGI, this is our third time on the island! The house is great and comes with many extras, that most don’t, the golf cart, kayak, paddle board, bikes, a GAS grill, a very well stocked kitchen, a screened in porch…..It is very spacious, and has plenty of bedrooms. The furniture, beds, and grill are just starting to show signs of wear. You can also tell that it is a pet friendly location, as there were signs of animals left behind (pet hair left on the furniture and carpet) The property owners are very kind and responsive. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property and we would stay there again.

We loved the location, nice neighbors, short walk to the bay, and short drive to the beach. The house is nice. Very roomy. Our only complaint was that the floors were covered with door hair. I had to sweep and vacuum before we could put my grandson down to crawl. There were dirty dishes in the cabinets. After we got over those issues we were fine and had a great time.

Renting was easy! We were a bit nervous since we had to pick a new rental due to our usual rented was booked. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to visit the island again.

We really enjoyed staying at this property! Everything was clean and just as described. The house is in a great location and was not overly close to any neighbors. The only things we would suggest is a better vaccum (especially since its pet friendly) and maybe some solar motion sensor lights for the front steps. Overall a great place to stay!

Our family had a wonderful time in SGI. Island Fun had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and the bay. Having use of the gold cart, kayak, paddle board and lots of beach gear was awesome!! St George is one of our favorite places to vacation and we had another exceptional trip!

Everything was amazing. We all enjoyed it. So much for the kids to do in the room, some toys were already in the rooms! Also loved the golf cart and the bikes! Such amazing memories were made here. We will definitely be back to stay here! Perfect location. Owners were quick at responding as well.

1st of all, Saint George island is the quintessential private peaceful beach destination. There literally is no bad place to stay on this island. The island is approximately 15 miles long 1/2 a mile wide at the widest, no high rises, So you are always going to find a private beach. My children and I have been to SGI 4 times now. All of the places we have stayed have been amazing but I think this is my favorite. The house is compact with a central open open living room kitchen area. 4 bedrooms alongThe side of the house.The living area has a skylight so the house is very bright and airy.The wrap-around porch was amazing!There is a front porch which has a view of the Bay. A side porch which is screened in. And then a long back deck with doors to 3 of the bedrooms.The house is a 10th of a mile from the Bay andLess than a 1/2 mile from the Gulf.One of the reviews says something about a swampy backyard which wasn't good for the dogs.That was not a problem at all!The house is near the water, What do you expect.The beds were comfortable. The master bedroom had its own bathroom.The other 3 bedrooms shared one bathroom so that might be a little tight if you have a full house.The kitchen had allThe cooking appliances you would need.There was a nice coffee station with a drip and keurig machine. The washer dryer was in good shape and essential for a beach trip! One review mentioned there isn't much by way of Household staples so I was prepared. We brought our own soap, shampoo and conditioner, Dish detergent, Tidepods, Beach towels, And basic spices for cooking. For me, that was no problem at all since I was prepared.That small effort of preparationWas well worth it considering what this house offers that others don't.Several bikes in very good condition!We usually spend $100 -200 on bike rentals that are in Worse shape than the ones available at the house. We brought our own paddle boards but the kayak at the house looked to be in good condition. There are a few dated beach chairs but also some nice sandmats that were very helpful. Best of all, the golf cart! I don't think I've ever seen a rental that has a golf cart and we had so much fun with that and it made it very easy for us to take all of our gear to the beach. Not to mention sunset rides! There is a convenient outdoor shower as well as a hose to rinse your gear. SGI is one of my favorite places to go and this house is fabulous.I will definitely consider this my top choice for future. Thankyou!

This home is a four-bedroom well appointed house in a relatively convenient location, bedrooms are quite large. It has a very nice outdoor grill, a nice outdoor hot and cold shower. and an awesome electric 4-pass golf cart. Very clean, no pests or bugs of any kind (except for no-see-ums). We just loved it!!

Island Fun was a perfect location for us. Quiet yet close to everything. It had everything we needed during our month stay. The golf cart is a great way to explore the island.

We enjoyed our stay despite some rainy weather. The house was exactly as described and clean. The kids enjoyed the golf cart the most. My only criticism is that you really need to bring everything to this house - there are no beach towels, one spatula, one cookie sheet, no salt/pepper/spices and exactly enough bath towels for people. I knew this ahead of time because I asked the owners, so I was prepared but I normally wouldn't have thought to bring so much.

The listing and photos were all accurate and the home was pretty clean aside from a few cobwebs and some dust from maybe under use or oversight. No deal breakers though! Really enjoyed the use of the golf cart. We were excited to use the kayak but didn’t get an opportunity to. Thanks again!

We had the nicest time staying here. We had everything we needed and the golf cart was such a bonus to have! We loved the location especially walking down to the bay to watch the sunset each evening!

A great property with nice views. The layout of the rooms were good…the kitchen was a little tight but functional with a good array of utensils. The “only” slightly negative is that they should get rid of the carpet in the bedrooms and replace with vinyl or tile. Being a pet friendly rental (which is an awesome thing) isn’t conducive with pets.. All that being said, we had a really great stay. Having the golf cart was definitely a plus! Also, the hosts were very available and helpful.

Just what we needed, and then some. Everything was clean, working order, comfortable, and well supplied. They even upgraded the golf cart the first week we were there! Good communication when we needed to contact them. It's dog friendly, which is a plus. But I will say, since the back and side yards are protected Marsh, there's really only just a small front yard to take your dog (s) out to, if you are bringing them. Just an fyi. If you aren't, then no worries, this place is great! Would definitely recommend, and will stay again!

The house was ok but the location is not that good. No good views of the ocean or bay. Back year is a swamp. Snakes were everywhere. We did not know about the red tide until we got there. We could not get in the ocean, fish or even walk the beach. We cough and sneeze while outside at any length of time. My eyes were swelling up.
