'South Cay' ist ein wunderschönes Haus auf der Insel Anna Maria in Anna Maria (nicht in Holmes Beach). Nur 11 Häuser sind zwischen South Cay und dem Golf von Mexiko, es ist also in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Wenn man aus dem Haus raus kommt, sieht man rechts den Zugang zum Strand.
Außerdem ist dies wohl der schönste Teil des Strandes auf der Insel.
South Cay liegt auch nahe dem reizenden Einkaufsviertel (Pine Avenue) in Anna Maria, was bedeutet, dass man zum Frühstück oder zu einer Eisdiele gehen und weiter durch die Läden und Geschäfte bummeln kann.
South Cay hat 4 Schlaf- und 2 ½ Badezimmer. Das Haus ist in sehr gutem Zustand. Im Hauptschafzimmer finden Sie ein super bequemes neues King-size Bett. Die weiteren Schlafzimmer sind jeweils mit 2 Queen-size Betten und einem Single Bett ausgestattet.
Die vordere Veranda ist abgeschirmt, so auch das Seitendeck vor dem Hauptschlafzimmer, das zu einem größeren hinteren Deck führt. Im 3. Stock ist das hintere Deck ebenfalls abgeschirmt.

This was our first time visiting Anna Maria Island with our family. We searched long and hard for the right amount of space and accommodations for us. Our family has not been able to all be together for a long time for to school and work so it was a very much needed vacation. This home looked great online and had just the right amount of rooms and space we needed. It was important for us to be close to the beach and have a nice size pool. The attached balconies to the primary were and living room area were a nice touch.
The decor and aesthetic met the beach home vibe we wanted and the organization and cleanliness definitely was top notch.
There were some leftover items in the kitchen and pool area that we were able to use that came in handy, maybe some other small things would have been nice to have but because of its location on the Island we were able to obtain things very easy. My family definitely wants to comeback and did mention they wouldn’t mind coming back to this home as they enjoyed the accommodations and location to everything. Great host and communication, thank you for making our long awaited family vacation to Anna Maria Island one of the most memorable and enjoyable times we have had in a long time!

We had a great time staying at South Cay. The house is just as advertised and was clean as a whistle on arrival. The house is very close to the beach access, just crossing over one street. We rented a golf cart from an outside business and there is some parking near the beach access. But the truth is, we really did not need the golf cart to get to the beach as it is <5 min walk. We really liked sitting on the top balcony in the late afternoon. All appliances worked great, the AC was just perfect. The pool is HUGE!!! My favorite part about the pool was seeing it at night as the LED lights were all around the pool. It was very nice. Overall, the accessibility to the beach, nearby shops and restaurants were the best part of South Cay.

This was our family’s first vacation at Anna Maria Island and we couldn’t have been happier with Southcay. Its location was perfect. A minute walk to one of the best beaches. The pool was beautiful, the house immaculate at the perfect size for our family of Five.
We can’t wait to go back!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. We traveled with our adult children and we were all very comfortable. The location was premium (5 min walk to the beach) and the house had everything we could possibly need. The communication and checking process was easy. Hopefully we will be booking this property again.

This was our 4th time to AMI and first time to this house. In previous trips we’ve stayed north of Pine in newer, more open concept homes, and this house and location were perfect for our mixed age group family - 2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids and 1 aunt who worked from the house during the week. The screened in porches were a highlight, and we felt they more than doubled the livable space. They also made it possible for everyone to be home and yet still have personal space. We really appreciated the peace of mind that comes with having the pool completely separate from the living areas (and the pool is as advertised - large and nice!). Though it’s not as high end as some houses in AMI, it is thoughtfully set up and well maintained. The owners shared plentiful information on both the house and the neighborhood - a far better set of recommendations than prior properties. The location made walking to the beach (as well as to breakfast and ice cream) with our kids a breeze. Close to everything and yet still a quiet and peaceful street - especially during the weekdays. We would definitely book this property again under similar circumstances.

We only have the absolute best things to say about our family spring break at this home. The location is incredible, in a delightful and walkable neighborhood that is just a few minutes walk from the most incredible beaches and restaurants. Wonderful pool, well appointed home, excellent communication, and so much more. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great private house with room for everyone to enjoy. We had a very relaxing week, great beach access, restaurants are right around the corner and a great private pool when you need a break from the sand.

This is a comfortable and pleasant beach house for a family vacation. Everything you need is provided.It is close to the beach and includes a nice pool in the backyard. It is also close to many restaurants and the shopping district. Most things are in walking distance. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and inclusive experience on Anna Maria Island.

We spent two wonderful weeks in paradise. Our hosts were amazing - we had two small things we needed help with and they were simply wonderful and helpful. They even followed up later to make sure things were good. The house is even nicer in person. The kitchen is well stocked and there is pretty much everything you need. There is some beach stuff and what isn't there, is easily rentable. The house is almost exactly a 1/4 mile walk to the beach and close to so many restaurants and shops. And the pool is amazing!! I would gladly take my family back. One of my favorite VRBO properties I've stayed in!!!

My family really enjoyed staying at this lovely home on Anna Maria. The home was very nice and well appointed. We had everything we needed. The location is close to the beach and close to many restaurants and other amenities. Communication was great. We would be delighted to stay at this property again.

We had a blast staying here with all 4 of my sons. Great communication with us before the stay. The house was clean and provided us everything we needed for our week stay there. Our boys loved the pool, and we loved the close location to both the beach and Pine Ave. We will be back again! Thanks!

We’ll maintained home and pool. No better location. Beach, restaurants, shops are a short walking distance, even by Toddler standards. Beach is 1.5 blocks away with entrance at end of street.

I stayed at SCay during the month of Feb and early March this year. It was fabulous … location, lovely pool, kitchen was well stocked. Owners are very communicative…Booked again for next year !

A spotless rental in a great location with a BIG pool!
Our family of 4 did not need as much space as this house provides, but as our 6th annual summer vacation to AMI we have come to have 2 top priorities in a rental home: location and pool. We are big fans of Ginny & Jane E's, which is right around the corner. And this year, we fell in love with The Porch restaurant, only steps away from South Cay. The house was spotless, which is not always the case in a rental that isn't brand new. There are multiple porches and balconies that can be enjoyed when it's not the middle of the summer and doesn't feel like the surface of the sun in Florida ;) Our kids are 9 & 12 and really enjoy more pool time than beach time. We had a good balance of both, but they especially loved having a deep end for jumping and enough space to play for hours. We also really loved the new French inspired Mademoiselle restaurant and bakery - especially because the Crepery on Bridge St. is now only opened on weekends.

Clean, comfortable, perfect location
We enjoyed our week in Anna Maria, we’ve stayed on island multiple years and this was a great experience. The pool is definitely a plus, it’s bigger than normal Florida size! The location is ideal… close to beach and shops. House was very clean and size was great for our two families. The screened in porch on the street side was great for morning coffee, lounging after the beach, and at night!

Lovely, clean house close to everything!
We had a great vacation. Pool was great and it was only 1.5 blocks to the beach. Property owner was easy to communicate with. No issues during our stay! Would recommend renting chairs.

Best Thanksgiving ever!
This house was absolutely everything advertised and more. It was bright and sunny. It was well-appointed and it was wildly comfortable. The four of us had plenty of room to spread out and the wi-fi suited out needs since two of us had to work for a few days before Thanksgiving. Being two blocks from the gorgeous beach was the best part of all as was being within walking distance to anything and everything you could ever want or need.
The house was clean and the pool was wonderful. There were plenty of chairs/beach buggy/toys/umbrellas left behind from other guests that we enjoyed every minute on the beach and never wanted to leave.
We will be back, there is no question about it. One of the best vacations we've had in a long time. Communication with the owner was prompt, courteous and easy.
Highly recommended when you need a getaway to the incredible Anna Maria Island.

Very nice home with a great pool! It's about 200 yards from the beach but they did have a wagon to haul all your gear which was convenient. The kitchen was fully stocked and we had no issues otherwise so no reason to contact the owners. I would definitely staying here if visiting AMI.

The property was accurately described in the listing. It was very clean, comfortable, and enjoyable. The pool was outstanding for the kids and the adults. The screened in porches were wonderful . We spent time on the front porch each day.
The short distance to the beach, stores, and restaurants was a bonus since we enjoy walking for exercise.
The owner provided a lot of information before our arrival and it made our travels run smoothly.
We were sad to leave when our week ended. It was really a perfect vacation rental for us.

Great location, clean house. Spent a lot of time on the screened in porches.
House was clean and well equipped kitchen. The waterfall in pool only runs 1-2 hours per day and is between 1pm and 3pm, which is fine if you don't have Instagram / TikTok obsessed teenage girls. Not a huge deal to adults, but would have prepared he 16 year olds. Leaving the beach in the middle of the day was not worth it. The carpet REALLY needs to be replaced. Bedrooms were spacious with great closets.

South Cay is a very nice property on Anna Maria Island. This was our first trip to AMI, and we thoroughly enjoyed the week.
