The host and her husband was very accomodating. The location is a bit far from Urbiztondo beach but the beach near this location was far better than what we expected. We'll definitely come back.

The doors and locks could provide better privacy if it was different. All in all it was still a good stay and the place felt pretty private enough for us.

It was a terrible terrible stay. I wished I didn’t go to La Union because of this. The home owner emailed me the previous night at 6PM telling me to cancel my booking because I am a Chinese. I got lucky cuz the person with me is a Filipino so he tried to explain the whole situation with the home owner. But from the beginning to the end she was avoiding phone calls and insisted to text, which is not sufficient enough. That’s just the attitude part. Speaking about the property, it was terrible, the room was really small without a bathroom even though we spent 40 US dollars to book a ‘family suite’. The bed wasn’t comfortable, and the cover was really thin, I almost got sick as it could be cold at night. We will have to share one bathroom with 4 more families and the condition there wasn’t great either. No hairdryer, no place to put your makeup or stuff, the room door couldn’t be locked so literally anyone could go inside of our room at night. And apparently the home owner and her family lives on the first floor and put all of us on the second. The property is a 5 minutes walking to the beach but the beach is not that great, the water is not clear and there are lots of big rocks underneath which you wouldn’t see. I wanted to swim but ended up being injured because of the sharp rocks. And there’s no breakfast, no bottled water, no WiFi, no internet connection, no kind greetings no nothing. And I can’t believe we paid 1900 peso for this. I stayed in amazing hostels for less than half of the price with my own room in Bohol. Totally not worth the value. Please kindly reconsider booking it for your own good.

The location is a little far from the tourist hub. But since the tourist area is crowded most of the time, this place is a good option.
