The kitchen had everything you might need for cooking . Plenty of dishes and cups. The house itself is surrounded by lovely forest and eventhough a new house is getting builds behind the one, it’s on a lower grade and hardly noticeable. Great walking neighborhood. We were packing a lot of luggage since we are moving and waiting for our new home completion. You should know that the 3rd and master bedroom to this house is locked and not part of the rental. The two remaining bedrooms are small; we used the room with twin beds for our luggage. The queen bed is tired and could use a new mattress. Bathroom is very clean and has very nice towels.

My wife and I stayed a month at this property. We enjoyed our stay. The best aspects of the property were the screened in porch, the video games, the decor and the communication with the owners.

This was a great spot for us while we searched for a lot to build our retirement home. Lots of construction in the area - totally no reflection on the owner.

We arrived at the property, nice area and view. Once inside we noticed the home hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom and shower were dirty. Kitchen was dirty, old food and milk over a month old in refrigerator . Stove was filthy with grease. Bed linen’s hadn’t been changed. Contacted the owner who was very apologetic and said she would get her cleaning company out as soon as possible. We went to dinner and came back to the cleaning person still cleaning. We didn’t want to get in her way so we stayed outside ( 40 degrees out). She finally finished at 9:30pm. She said we wouldn’t be responsible for the cleaning fee when we left the house. We contacted the owner and told her that the cleaning person said we would not be responsible for the cleaning fee which was great. We said that we didn’t feel we should have to pay for the first night since the house was dirty and we were inconvenienced. The owner said no, but did offer us an additional nights stay. Unfortunately we had a flight to catch and jobs to return to. One of her text comments was that “this not a hotel”. Also one of her texts was “this was not my fault”. We feel if you own a property to rent it’s your responsibility to ensure that everything is in order for guests. This was our first time renting through VRBO.

Tellico Village VRBO
Upon arrival we pulled up and the outside of the house and yard was needing help, and things looked a little run down. We had a problem with the drain in the tub/shower not draining and backing up while showering, we contacted Michelle and she got a Plummer to resolve the problem the next day and we greatly appreciated that. We wish there had been an ice maker, we were quite surprised to have only 2 ice trays that we had to refill. Very nice to have a washer and dryer for use along with laundry supplies. Lighting was poor , bedrooms and living rooms had dim lights. It would have been nice to have a dresser and mirror in the bedroom for a place to put on makeup/ do hair if bathroom was in use. The outdoor screened porch is really nice and has a lot of privacy.

Cozy and feels like home
Cute and cozy home nestled in the trees. Great screened porch with comfy seating and beautiful view of nature. Loved the Pac-Man arcade game and outdoor space has everything we needed. Host was responsive to all of our questions. Highly recommend this home!!

Tellico village house is great!
Tellico village was a great experience. It's in a quiet neighborhood, screened in porch, deck to host, close to rec center to swim or workout for a day pass, and close to the lake!
When we got there we noticed the floor was not clean. Contacted the manager of the property on VRBO and got an instant response. They were very apologetic and contact the cleaning company to tell them. I told them it happens sometimes

Listed as lakeside retreat, with pictures of lake ( seeming to be on the lake). Bottom and middle outside areas not cleaned so unable to use. Yard had plenty of weeds. Disappointed

Beautiful vacation spot
My husband and I loved staying at this home in Tellico Village. The neighborhood and surrounding areas are just beautiful with all different homes on winding roads. This house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and even more amenities that we didn't use like a barbecue grill, fire pit, etc. The hosts stayed in good contact and answered all questions timely. Very happy I found this spot and will use again if I need a place to stay in Loudon.

Beautiful home small bedroom
Beautiful home, enjoyed the deck, but the main bedroom was so small we could barely walk between the bed and the tiny dresser, let alone open the dresser. We used the 2nd small bedroom as a closet. The bathroom also extremely small with very little storage or counter area and the shower curtain was filthy . The owner kept the real MB locked, so only the other tiny bedrooms available.

We stayed for a week, as we were investigating retiring in the area from Wisconsin. Michele’s place is very comfortable and quiet, with a great screen porch. Also convenient to all Tellico’s amenities, including one of the rec centers within walking distance. We will stay here again.

Spending Thanksgiving in Tellico Village, Tennessee
Great location. Beautiful area. Nice and quiet. Easy access to anywhere you wanted to travel. Impeccably maintained. Great communication with the host. Only criticism coming from a cook: maybe add a paring knife and a sharp pair of scissors, and a better can opener. Other than that, the stay was wonderful. I would love to visit again next fall. Thanks again for such great hospitality.

Peace and Quite
Tellico Village is a beautiful area with mountains and lakes! It's conveniently located to many recreational areas. This property is very private, clean and well stocked. You can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in this property. We were blessed every evening with the presence of a beautiful Doe and her two Fawns. We would definitely rent here again.

Happy Place - Tellico Village
We stayed for 4 days and had a wonderful trip. The house was exactly as described. It was extremely clean and had every thing you would needed to have a great stay. Owners were GREAT to work with and accommodating. The screened in porch over looking the woods was wonderful. Thanks so much!!

So relaxing
This little find was amazing. So peaceful, and felt totally secluded even though in a neighborhood. The open concept was great for talking. Wish I could have spent a whole week drinking coffee on the screened in porch. Will definitely use again for my retreat weekends.

Had a wonderful time staying at the house, especially enjoyed the huge screened in porch. House looks exactly as advertised, was clean and beautifully appointed. Easy communication with owners, will definitely return when in the area again and would recommend to friends.

Peaceful, quite location yet convenient
The 2 bed room cottage was just as described and worked well for my wife and I. open concept, screened in deck for quite morning coffee facing the woods. It was very clean and well maintained. Could use a few minor conveniences - a coffee pot for coffee drinkers (not a fan of K-cups), hangers in the closets, a few more cooking utensils/pans (we donated a non-stick and from Dollar General). We would certainly stay there again...

Tellico Village Exploration Trip
My wife and I explored the Tellico Village area and used this home as our base. Everything in the pictures and description is spot on. The home is conveniently located just a few blocks off of Tellico Parkway but completely quiet to any street traffic. It is super clean and nicely decorated. The owners responded immediately to any questions. In terms of location, the Yacht Club is less than 5 minutes away and we enjoyed two of the best meals we've had all year at the Blue Heron Restaurant. The view of the lake and mountains is spectacular. We enjoyed golf at all 3 courses; two of which are located within 5 minutes of the home (Toqua and Tanasi); Kahite is closer to 15 minutes away and well worth the play to see the mountain backdrops. We will definitely rent from the owner again when we return to this beautiful area.
