The property is beautiful and very comfortable even for 10 people. It is very private and the pool and garden are very nice.
It is close to so many villages and shops.

It was the second time we stayed at this lovely location and again we enjoyed ourselves very much. Contact with proprietor and agent was helpful and very friendly indeed. A lovely and typical Provence mas with a huge and calm garden and a large pool with privacy that we used almost every day. We shall certainly return!

Wonderful time in L'isle sur la Sorgue
The pictures online are 100 % accurate. The property is a gem. There were 5 of us who spent a week at the lovely house. From the time of the booking, our arrival and check in and throughout the week, the communication with the owner, Sean and the property manager, Sarah, were quick and helpful responses all the time.
For us, having the pool house was perfect as it afforded one couple a bit more privacy. Even though we only ate breakfasts in the house (we ate out for lunch and dinner at restaurants in the area and beyond), the kitchen had everything we needed. L'Isle is only a few minutes away for a large supermarket and boulangerie for bread/croissants. The weather was hot, so having a heated pool that was beautifully maintained was a treat. Also having AC that worked well kept us all comfortable during our stay. The grounds of the house are lovely and the mountains in the background only add to the experience.
I want to give Sarah, the property manager, a special note of thanks for helping us print up train passes, quickly responding to a few hiccups and greeting us with a smile. She was the best property manager I've worked with of any VRBO property.
Overall, we all had a wonderful time at a beautiful property and would highly recommend it as well as Sean and Sarah for providing such quick and helpful support.
Also, the property is located really close to so many towns (Gordes, Rouission, Fonataine) as well as short driving distances to Avignon, St. Remy, La Bayeaux, Arle and Nimes as well as a relatively short drive ( 1 1/2 hrs ) to Aix.

Peaceful
We had a wonderful stay. The house is well appointed, spacious and well maintained. The pool is large and the garden is beautiful. It was a perfect place to relax for the week. Sean & Sarah (house manager) were both very helpful prior to our arrival and during our stay.

After not being able to travel for over a year this was just what we needed!
We spend a fabulous week in this stylish and well equipped villa which is situated in a perfectly calm and beautiful location with a lot of interesting places to explore nearby.
we had some wonderful excursions, wine tastings, hikes and bicycle rides in the surrounding area and had cozy evenings on the delightful terrace.
The spaceous separate pool area is surrounded by a security fence, which is really useful when travelling with small children.
The house surpassed all our expectations, everything we needed was there, the pool was perfectly heated and clean.
A big thumbs up to the owners and the manager Sarah who were very kind, caring and responsive to all our questions.
Already weeks before our stay the owners send us a lot of useful information and Sarah took perfectly care of us on our arrival.
Everything we needed to know about the house, the equipment and the area plus suggestions about restaurants, visits, hikes etc was well documented in a folder.
We can't wait to return to this marvellous villa next year.

Wonderful house in fantastic area
This place is fantastic! I can’t fault it. The area is rich with things to do, very picturesque. The house itself is great with a layout that’s perfect for big families. There were 4 adults and 4 kids plus my elderly dad stayed in the pool suite which was perfect to give him a bit of privacy. The pool is great - fully fenced which was a real bonus for our non swimming younger kids. Best holiday ever!

Wonderful House, Wonderful Area
We have stayed in many self catering houses around the world and this is what we hoped for, and more.
It is stylishly and beautifully equipped, immaculately clean, and with everything one could wish for. Plenty of room for our family of 6 adults and 2 young children, the pool and garden are very secure for little ones.
So many interesting places to visit nearby with numerous opportunities to sample wonderful French food and wine.
We had a few problems - our Saturday flights were cancelled - but Patricia, Douglas and manager Elayne were so helpful, for which we are very grateful.
Our family can't wait to return

Amazing property in the perfect location
The property was beautiful and in an amazing location to explore. It is a very short drive into L’Isle sur la sorgue . The pool area was immaculate, the owners provided all pool towels. There is a suite which we decided to stay in which opens up on to the pool. The main house is stunning with a large sociable kitchen ... a big kitchen is important to us being in France! Outside the front of the property the large table and bbq area was used every evening.
The house is very tastefully decorated and incredibly well organised. The owners have thought of everything and have a file detailing restaurants, walks and other important information for your stay.
It was a very relaxing stay and we hope to go back this summer.

Absolutely Wonderful!
This is a beautiful house for a holiday. We were two families, all adults, and it catered for all our needs. The photos do not do it justice; everything was as described and more. We spent almost all of our time either in the kitchen, on the terrace or by the pool - all brilliant. It's easy to get anywhere for shopping, markets and visiting the lovely local villages (our favourites being Gordes, Menerbes and Fontaine de Vaucluse). Also Cassis on the coast is well worth a visit, not forgetting all the opportunities for wine tasting (superb Rosé)!
Patricia and Douglas were extremely helpful beforehand and kept in touch during our stay. Elayne and Catherine (manager and housekeeper) were also great. We would love to return for another holiday.

Perfect getaway!
We spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home from home. The property is very spacious and comfortable, with lots of little details that added a special touch to our holiday- the local wine and soap on arrival were particularly enjoyable after a long days travel, and the kids adored playing with all the toys stored in the garage. Between that, the pool and the garden, they were very well occupied!
The location is stunning, all the beauty of rural Provence, yet only 5 minutes from the restaurants and shops in L'isle Sur la Sorgue. We had a great time exploring on market day.
There are so many beautiful places to visit in the surrounding area. We particularly enjoyed visiting fountain de vaucluse where we had an exceptional meal at restaurant Philip, and saumane de vaucluse where bistro de saumane is worth a trip. There is lots to see and do, hiking, cycling, kayaking and even a high ropes course nearby, plenty of activities for the kids.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and enjoyed many tranquil evenings on the terrace with a lovely meal (courtesy chef Jane) and a glass or two of local rosé... perfect getaway!

atmospheric house in a lovely setting
The house fully meets expectations, it is stylishly finished and you are fully equipped. In the immediate vicinity are many beautiful villages and activities.Even with small children, the house is very practical and safe. The poolside cottage has its own entrance, and is therefore perfect for a couple, space enough for a couple with baby.
(A small cooking plate and microwave in that cottage would make it complete.) The main house is also very spacious (four big bedrooms and a small one for a child) !
We were very happy with the cleaning service after a week. Washing the sheets and towels gives a very luxury feeling.
We enjoyed the house very very much!

Lovely property
I and my family stayed in this property for the second time. We are a family of 10 spanning 3 generations - 6 adults and 4 boys - boys ranging in age from 6 months to 4 years.
The property is as described and had every facility needed for our party. The kitchen, particularly, is very well equipped.
The pool, garden and outside toys are ideal for our grandsons, and the house very comfortable for both children and adults.
The location is perfect, we cycled every day to buy our croissants, did canal side walks, kayaked twice during our stay and even ventured on a trip to the coast.
The house is maintained to a very high standard as are the garden and pool area. We found it very helpful in view of the ages of our grandsons that the pool was in a separate gated area from the rest of the garden and house.
We enjoyed visiting the local villages and markets in this beautiful area and I would have no hesitation in recommending it to families. We hope to return!

A beautifully decorated villa in a quiet location yet only a short drive into isle sur la Sorgue .
Beautiful villa very well maintained in a quiet location yet so close to isle sur la Sorgue. The garden was large and the pool was a great temperature for us and the children, they swam every day. There was a wide choice of pool toys and floatables there was also use of bikes to cycle to the village .
Patricia the owner could not have been more helpful recommending an amazing local restaurant and even booking it for us . We also needed a wheelchair for my Mother which she also arranged.
The bed linen and towels ( both bath and beach towels were of a really good standard and the beds were very comfortable. The villa was perfect for our party of 7 , my Husband and I ( in the Valcuse annex) my sister her husband and their two Children and my Mother who has limited mobility . Thank you so much we will definitely return .

A luxurious home from home in Provence
What a lovely Provencal home! We wanted for nothing, it was so comfortable and well equipped. The house was immaculate on our arrival, with a gift of local wine and soap to welcome us.
The house is beautifully furnished and my husband and I were delighted to be ensconced in the stunning Vaucluse suite opening into the garden and pool area.
Our grandchildren loved the house and garden, and the pool, even though it was early in the season!
The surrounding countryside is beautiful with stunning hilltop towns and the lovely town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue to explore.
We had a couple of issues but a word to the local manager and everything was speedily sorted out, with the friendly owners calling to check all was well.
We cannot recommend this property highly enough and would love to return one day.

Everything you could wish for!
We had a great week at Le Mas Guillaume in the early autumn. It is a wonderful property in a beautiful area. The house, a restored old farmhouse, which the owners have decorated and equipped to the highest standard, comfortably accommodated our party of 6 adults, 2 young kids and a baby. Our BBQ’s on the terrace were all the better for the lovely views of the golden cliffs of the nearby Vaucluse mountains as the sun set. The garden is perfect for kids – there is a lovely formal garden with lawn directly in front of the terrace, ideal for the kids to play whilst we chilled on the terrace. The salt water pool is surrounded by an extensive grassed area and is securely separated from the house, terrace and formal garden. We didn’t make use of the pool heating as it was (just about) warm enough not to need it, but the option is there should it be required. We spent most of our time enjoying ourselves at the house and in the nearby area - there are lovely easy walks along the canal (and much more demanding ones in the mountains nearly) – but not far off are some beautiful Luberon villages, excellent vineyards and good restaurants. Patricia and Douglas were very accessible and helpful and made us feel like real guests. Their manager, Elayne, was also most helpful. I would highly recommend this property for families; it provides everything you could wish for - for all age groups!

EXCELLENT IN EVERY WAY!
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Le Mas Guillaume and without hesitation say that it is the highest standard rental accommodation that we have ever used in Europe. The owners have made every effort to ensure that every room is delightfully furnished and decorated. There is a delightful combination of traditional French styles with modern touches and comforts.
The kitchen is well equipped and had all the utensils we needed for self-catering and a large supply of china, glass and cutlery. Top marks for sharp kitchen knives! (Unusual in a rented house)
We were a group of 6 adults and we used the outside bedroom with access to the pool and it was perfect for us to enjoy a quiet early morning swim without disturbing anyone else.
Patricia and Douglas are thoughtful homeowners and the chilled Luberon wine awaiting our arrival was most welcome. It was also good to find adequate supplies of soaps etc. in the well-appointed bath/shower rooms.
We particularly enjoyed the sun terrace with comfortable lounge furniture and shaded by vines – delightful! We were lucky to have very warm dry weather at the end of September and this made our holiday perfect. The sightseeing in the region is so varied and interesting. Small village cafes and restaurants were abundant and always of a high standard at a reasonable price.
We hope to return again!

Perfection.
We have just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay. We knew the house looked and sounded very special but it exceeded our expectations. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly ever need and more. The grounds and swimming pool were lovely, even at the end of the summer season. Our 2 year old twins loved the swimming pool and spent many a happy hour romping around the gardens. For us (a family with young children), it was utterly safe and secure - which in a holiday rental, can be hard to find (near-on impossible). The surrounding area is fascinating with so many great places to visit and the information provided by the owners helped immensely in choosing where to visit and eat out.
The owners couldn't have been more helpful and caring to our needs and made us feel like true guests - not just customers. Our welcome present was a really lovely touch and very much enjoyed once the children were in bed on the night of our arrival!
Out of all the French / Italian villas we have stayed in, this is the only one we'd love to return to.

Lovely!
A lovely, spacious, generous house where we enjoyed the most relaxing of holidays. It is beautifully designed and decorated, well-stocked, and spotlessly clean. It accommodated our many different needs and the owners could not have been more helpful.
It is situated in a beautiful part of France and the nearby local town is charming, has good cafes and restaurants, and a big Sunday market which is well worth a visit. There is kayaking on the river for those wanting more than the pool!

Fabulous family holiday property
We stayed in this property with our family which included 3 small boys aged 3 and under. The owner, Patricia, had been very helpful in corresponding prior to our holiday. On arrival after a short drive from Avignon airport we found the property to be clean and very well furnished. The cot and 2 high chairs were there for us as requested.
The house is situated on a very quiet road and is therefore in a very private location. There was ample secure parking for our 3 cars.
The house was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need, particularly in the kitchen.
The outside space was much appreciated by all of the family, and we made good use of the gas BBQ.
The pool is surrounded by an extensive grassed area which is securely separated from the house, patio and formal garden. Our grandsons made very good use of all of the outside toys particularly the paddling pool and the tractor and trailer. We found the property to be a very safe environment for toddlers.
The house is ideally placed for visiting the nearby beautiful villages by car and we enjoyed using the 2 bicycles to cycle the 2 kilometres for our croissants each morning.
We would highly recommend canoeing on the local river which is walking distance from the house. We also visited the coast for a day which was an easy 90 minute drive from the property.
I would highly recommend this property for families, it provides everything you could wish for - for all age groups! It is a wonderful property in a beautiful area.
We hope to return in the near future!!!

Le Mas Guillaume is a beautiful house
The house is tastefully decorated and really well equipped. We were a party of 8 adults and the house was wonderfully spacious and we never ran out of cutlery or crockery.
The garden & pool are a joy and we picked figs for breakfast every morning. We played with the boules left in the garage and it was fun using the bikes to cycle into Fontaine for morning croissants & bread. Patricia & Douglas you have created a very special place.

Exceptional Provencal Mas in lovely surroundings
Le Mas Guillaume is a truly beautiful house set in well maintained gardens with a large salt water pool at the foot of the Vaucluse hills. It is tastefully decorated and furnished in Provencal style, superbly equipped and perfectly located near Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Menerbes, Roussillon, Bonnieux, Gordes, as well as the vineyards of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Chiroubles, Rasteau, Vacqueyras and Beaumes-de-Venise. We were fortunate to stay for three weeks at the Mas Guillaume with our children and grandchildren, 11, 9 and 6 for a special family occasion the memories of which will stay with us forever. Thank you Patricia, Douglas and your team for a marvellous holiday.
We hope to return in the not too distant future.

Fabulous home
We have just returned from an amazing week where 4 adults and 5 children had the best time in this beautiful home. It is by far the best equipped home away from home we have ever stayed in. The villa was comfortable, stylish, homely and beautiful. The garden and pool area was so established that hours were spent in the pool and playing in the large garden. We were lucky enough to sleep in the pool annex room, which felt like a 5 star hotel. The area was also wonderful with hilltop villages, local markets, wineries and great bike rides all in easy reach. One highlight was swimming in the refreshing Sorgue river within a very easy walk of the villa. Would highly recommend for family - just a wonderful week, hope to come back soon.

Fantastic property
We really enjoyed our stay at Le Mas Guillaume. It's an extremely comfortable house, well-equipped, and with a great pool area and terrace. Definitely one of the best we've stayed in in France. Also had a great time exploring the area - there's fantastic walking or cycling for the more energetic, but also lots of more leisurely activities and historical sights within easy reach. And I still miss the morning cycle ride up to the boulangerie in Fontaine-de-Vaucluse...

Fabulous
It was all we had hoped for, a separate luxurious pool suite for we grandparents, good bedrooms for our four other adults and their four small ones (5 -7), lovely saltwater pool with lots of garden space to run around in. The house was really well-eqippied with everything you could need and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Great facilities for the young only 500 meters away, with canoeing and an adventure playground, and, of course, the charming town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue just down the road. We had a really lovely holiday.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful area of France. We all had a superb holiday-one of the best ever .We are all retired and are well world-wide travelled -often together. The description and reality of the property were spot on -it was home from home.A well maintained building, garden and swimming pool, excellently equipped throughout, safely enclosed behind automatic gates , comfort and tranquillity and superb support from the owners, manager and ancillary staff made this a holiday from heaven. We can recommend this property to seniors, families and gourmets as the ambiance of the property and the surrounding towns and villages is second to none.We have been visiting Provence for 30+ years,-camped,B&B'd,hotel stayed and Villa'd but Le Mas Guillaume is head and shoulders above these.
