What an amazing place! It was the perfect location and the beach was not crowded at all. The condo had all the amenities you needed.It was nice to be able to cook a quick breakfast or lunch because all the kitchen necessities were there. The view on the balcony was amazing and I enjoyed having my coffee out there every morning! You could hear the people above you walking around which was not great but not the owners fault. I can’t wait to come back next year. I think we finally found our annual beach trip!

Loving being ocean front

We really enjoyed our stay. The upstairs neighbors constantly walked very heavily footed all day every day. But the condo was very nicely decorated and suited our needs perfectly.

Karen and Rick’s place was perfectly situated on the beach. We were steps to the beach and it was so nice that they had chairs, towels and toys that my family could use during our stay. We had everything we needed to cook meals and we were comfortable. Rick and Karen responded to us immediately when we had questions and were great hosts. We were sad to leave!

Clean property, with responsive owners. The absolute best part of the property was the view and sound of the ocean. Would stay again.

The property was clean. No issues other than noise from unit above us. In the master bedroom, you can hear the noise from the occupants above. Unfortunately, a small child was constantly running from one room to another all during the night.

I LOVE staying at this condo -- everything about it is just perfect for me! It's very comfortable, very well furnished, great views, and there is easy access to great beach walks.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at this condo. I love the area & this particular condo is perfect for vacation on the beach. The view from the balcony is breathtaking of a morning & evening. It has everything you need. Thanks again Rick & Karen for sharing your place!

We have been going to Topsail Dunes for about 8 years now and it never disappoints! We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness of the unit. We really loved that the linens were provided and we were very comfortable. Loved the balcony view! Our visit was shortened due to Hurricane Ian and the owners were very helpful and kind in regards to that. They were super responsive and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay in the unit again in we have the opportunity!.

Overall, this is a cute unit. Love the view from the balcony and master bedroom. On the downside, the unit upstairs was noisy most of the nights making it hard to sleep. Some roaches still around as well. Saw the traps, hope you are having regular extermination, which is all that works. We were pleased to see the unit offered a Keurig so we did not bring the one we travel with, only to be disappointed that it was no longer in place. The combo unit for brewed coffee and pod coffee only worked on the brew side. The pod side seemed to be stopped up. First morning had to leave for coffee and coffee to brew with the rest of the week as we didn't realize when we checked in the pod side would not work. Pics need to be updated. The unit was not very clean to the touch. Refrigerator very greasy on the outside and smelled heavily of fish. Bought baking soda to help that. Did a sanitation wipe of everything as it seemed to only be picked up but not wiped down. Also, the previous occupant did not empty out the fridge and we left it as we found it. With that exception we tried to leave the unit better than we found it.

Beautiful views of the ocean and very short walk to the beach. Condo was nice and clean. Only complaint, there is not enough restaurant's in the area.

We had a wonderful time at North Top Saul Beach! It was a relaxing weekend away!

Pros: The booking, communication with owner and checking in and checking out processes were easy and efficient. The condo had everything we needed for our getaway with a kitchen stocked with dishes, utensils and pots & pans. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets. The washer and dryer in the unit allowed us to pack lighter- just remember your own detergent. We were surprised to find that we could have left our chairs and even beach towels at home because those were provided, too. There was a storage box inside the door for beach supplies that doubled as a place to unload "stuff" when we returned from the beach or shopping. I loved the balcony with high tables and chairs that provided a beautiful, unobstructed view of the ocean. I fell asleep to the crashing waves every night in the master bedroom, with the bonus of a couple spectacular thunderstorms. The unit is just around the corner from the elevator and the stairs and the beach/pool access is really close! An unfortunate pro that we learned; EMS responded in fewer than four minutes when we had to dial 911 for a friend who had a medical emergency (all ended well). Cons: The luggage carts and the ramps/elevator were a pain in the rear...we quickly learned that it's easier and faster to carry loads up/down the steps. The unit could have been cleaner. It wasn't anything I couldn't take care of with the lysol wipes I brought from home, but cleaners might pay more attention to mopping the floor and cleaning the sliders. Everything was in good repair except the windows and sliders, which were older & heavier and no longer open/close smoothly. The only other con was loud upstairs neighbors that woke up much earlier than we wished. This was out of the owner's control and would depend on who is staying in the unit week-to-week- so it's hard to call it a con. The family upstairs just happened to have kids too young to understand how loud they are being at 6:00am. We're parents...we get it. We had so much fun on vacation, both in and out of the condo. We found great restaurants, shops, beaches, parks and activities and we were never bored. We found several shark teeth (okay, okay....the captain of our chartered boat found most of them, but we found a couple!) The location is perfection and we were comfortable! We would stay again.

Property was fantastic and listing was very accurate. Great view of the ocean and super relaxing. Only complaint is that we wish the chairs on the balcony were more comfortable - but hey! we were at the beach. Overall, we would come back in a heartbeat

Our stay was wonderful! The beds were comfortable, we had all the supplies we needed to cook. The view on the balcony is unbeatable. Our only complaint would be the chairs on the deck- not very easy to relax in since there are no arms and they sit straight up. Not the same chairs as what is pictured in the listing. The owner was great with communication and the place was awesome! Would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay. The views are much better than the pictures and it is nicely located with distance to the beach. The unit was well appointed and had nicely updated kitchen and bath. There were some things that were in a bit of disrepair that could use some attention (re: some broken screens so couldn't enjoy sound of ocean, very wobbly kitchen table chairs, light switch in main bath seems to have an issue, etc.), but overall considered it minor and was not a deal-breaker. It was accurately depicted overall and suited our needs. Owners responded quickly to our questions. Would recommend.

Property was great... Possibly could improve on the beds in the little bedroom, but clean and ALL the eminities you could want... We brought paper goods and trash bags, but they were there, so we left ours for the next people. Only problem we had, and this wasn't with our owners, but the people above us walked like elephants and played their music so loud we paid them a visit.... Never had that before! But our place was great!

It was so nice to sit on the balcony and enjoy watching the ocean! The condo is well appointed as shown in the pictures. We enjoyed our stay!

It a nice property the view was awesome.

Kitchen updated, however needs furniture updated, needs new bath and bed linens. The mater bedroom has a very comfortable mattress other beds not so much. Furniture on deck was very uncomfortable. I’m in my 70’s very hard to get up on the bar height stools. Neighbors above very noisy could hear very step also, decided this would be the perfect week to install new flooring. Other than noise enjoyed my trip with my teenage granddaughter!

This property has awesome views. The property feels “tired”. Furniture is worn along with the bed coverings and towels. The condo felt like one of the first buildings on the island….not sure of the age. It did serve the purpose.

Quiet and peaceful during our visit. My son who has owned beach property in the past said he would definitely stay here again and he really liked the beach themed decor used. Had no issues but the owner was very responsive in providing any answers to questions before the visit.

Unit was a bit worn from the photos provided. The deck furniture is horrible! Extremely high chairs that are both very difficult to get on to and very uncomfortable to sit in. I moved the rocking chair from the living room onto the balcony/deck and sat in it on balcony/deck, much better! Owners I very highly you take a look at every other deck/balcony that you can see from your deck/balcony and get the kind of chairs they ALL have on theirs. Otherwise it was well suited for my needs. People want to sit on balcony and be comfortable and relax and enjoy the GREAT ocean view! In comfortable chairs!

Everything about the condo was great. We stayed one week last year and loved it so much stayed two weeks this year. The condo was perfect for us. Well appointed and clean. We cooked some and ate out some and had everything we needed to cook meals. We loved the short distance to the beach and the ocean front view. I would recommend this condo to anyone and have, in fact, to friends. There were a couple of things (not with the condo itself) that were bit a of a problem for us (as seniors particularly). There were NO buggies to help take your stuff from the car to your condo. (There was last year.) You had to carry everything. I asked about it and was told there were new ones on order - but they were back ordered. The other thing was the water/shower to rinse your feet coming off the beach, was turned off. I asked about this too and was told they were letting the decking dry good to paint. We were there two weeks and it rained on Friday before we left on Saturday so we were there 12 days and it didn't rain a drop, so I'm not sure what they were waiting on. BUT the condo was great and we had a wonderful time and will likely go back next year for two weeks.

The property was beautiful and very, very clean. The view from the balcony was wonderful, and being so close to the beach (literally one flight of stairs) was truly amazing when vacationing with kids! The condo has all amenities you would need. I especially appreciated being able to launder our beach towels/swim suits in the condo during our stay!! Highly recommend.

Great family beach property and location. Quiet beach setting

We have stayed at other units within the complex, but this was by far our favorite. Beautiful updates, fantastic view, and great amenities. We will definitely return!
