Rooms are beautifully decorated and comfy . The location is ideal.

Hosts and all staff were excellent, from serving meals to showing us around the property on our arrival. Nothing was a problem and we appreciated their hospitality. Room was very clean and bathroom area excellent. A massive good quality breakfast was my personal highlight.

Bar staff a bit surly, not what would be expected of a hotel however other staff excellent in every respect.

The on duty manager was great. She was friendly and professional making the stay really enjoyable. The food was very good especially the breakfast which was one of the best I’ve had recently.

My only minor issue was the cold tap ran a little warm. Not a major issue but preventing me from drinking the water.

The warm and friendly welcome along with the thorough explanation of the room facilities and general procedures. The evening meal was excellent. The breakfast was also excellent and all the staff were brilliant.

Very dog friendly, including a bed, towel and welcome pack with a ball, treats and poo bags. Genuinely helpful staff, particularly Emma, who was lovely.

Such friendly staff and great spacious rooms

Great central location, interior of the hotel and bedroom were fine, especially welcome was the excellent quality of the double bed and the bathroom. Breakfast was of an excellent and imaginative standard. Staff were very attentive and welcoming - even the dog in our company had a surprise welcome gift pack!

As there is no private parking, guests have to use the public car park situated behind the hotel. From here the back entrance of the hotel is the more convenient access but it is not the most welcoming in appearance. It is somewhat deceptive however, because the hotel is really great.

Top quality comfortable room with above expected standard for pub accomodation. Perfect central location for Ilkley. We slept really well. Loved the breakfast and warm welcome from owner Tony and Frodo. Good value as well.

Room very spacious, nice comfy bed, large bathroom with bath and shower. Breakfast very good and plentiful. All staff very pleasant and friendly. Location excellent.Went out of there way to ensure we had a pleasant stay for my husbands birthday. Ballons and banners in the room.

Only negative was a bit of damp in one corner of the bedroom.

A very comfortable stay in a warm and spacious room. The staff looked after us exceptionally well on check-in, in the bar in the evening and at breakfast (which was very good). The accommodation was very dog friendly.

Great central location / Fantastic helpful and friendly manager and staff / Modern bedrooms with new beds and crisp linen / Stylish bathrooms / Quality breakfast with selection to suit preferences - went out specially to buy requested milk / Cosy pub with range of good cask beers.

Slight background noise, as expected in a central pub, but secondary glazing reduces impact from outside. No on site parking, but can drop off bags at rear beer garden and park for free over bridge by river 10 min walk away or at paid car park immediately behind pub.

The check-in was straightforward and the staff was helpful. The room was clean and had everything needed.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious but the staff on duty was unhelpful and disinterested. The room overlooked the beer garden so it was noisy until late at night. Feeling ripped off really detracts from an experience. The prices were ridiculous. What about a discount for guests?

A little noisy at night, but very much expected when staying in a pub on a Saturday night!

The breakfast could be tailored. The rooms were very aesthetic and the shower looked like a waterfall. It also has a Nespresso machine! Nice view of the church.
