We enjoyed our stay here. It was nice to have access to a garage for our car as well as assorted water craft and life jackets. The home was clean and well stocked. The view of the lake from both the kitchen and back deck was beautiful and relaxing. The owner was very prompt in all communication. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed our morning walks there with our pups. Thank you!

Updated and comfortable house with amazing views of the lake from almost every room, especially the kitchen. Lakefront property for very easy access to lots of lake fun…row boat, kayak, canoe, paddle board, swimming and fishing. Mostly fenced in yard, perfect for pets to enjoy the family fun.

This was the most relaxing vacation. We had great weather and family time. Sunsets are breathtaking.

This is a very nice home, very clean, and a great kitchen for cooking. Neighborhood is a little bit of a mixed bag, but the house itself and the lake both make it worth the stay. Owner was great communicating and offering flexibility.

This property and location lived up to the pictures and then some. It was a beautiful, spacious, functional and very relaxing setting. The lake is lovely, very calm in the morning and evening and not very busy. Kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding or row boating were very easy around this scenic lake. I highly recommend this property.

The paddleboard, kayaks and canoe were a great bonus. Lovely lake and location. Fully equipped kitchen. Lots of room.

One of the nicest things about this property is that not only are you right on the lake but you have a view of the water in nearly every room. There is also a nice long deck in back from which to enjoy the water, as well. The location is also great for accessing pretty much anything you want to do in the Finger Lakes region, especially Penn Yan, Watkins Glen, and Hammondsport. For those traveling with a dog, do take note that the yard is not completely fenced in. While the fence provides privacy from the road, fido won't be able to wander at will. The road is a fairly quiet one, so it's good for walking your dog, as is the road going up to the cemetery. Our dog never tired of exploring both. Being able to park the car in the garage, especially on hotter days was something of a luxury, as well. Families might want to take note that the two bedrooms upstairs are set up with pocket doors in-between bedrooms, so there's the option for a little privacy but also easy communication for the kids to hang out together in their own space. Also there is nice flexibility for at-counter eating in the kitchen or table seating in the dining area. All-in-all a pretty comfortable lake house.

The pictures in the listing didn’t do the house justice. It was roomier than it appeared and the living room/ dining room combo was a great gathering space with a full view of the lake. Everything was in good working order, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook at home, and the beds were very comfortable. There was a slight miscommunication about check in but the landlord resolved it quickly. We had a great time and would definitely rent this place again

Located on a smaller, more private lake, this rental has it all. Spotlessly clean and well-kept, the rooms are large yet cozy. Very comfortable beds, linens, towels. Great water pressure on shower. Fully equipped kitchen. The deck, backing onto the lake, and the sunset views make this place a home run.

The home is lovely and having the lake in the backyard added to our enjoyment. We were able to paddle board and kayak. We loved having breakfast in the kitchen while watching the lake and nature waking up.

Beautiful location for a long weekend trip with friends! Great sunset views and the location worked out very well for us. We were up for the vintage car weekend at Watkins Glen and were within a 20 minute ride to the track and the town of Watkins Glen.

Very easy to check in, and questions are answered promptly. The layout of the house was terrific... my parents took the master downstairs and my kids and my wife and I were upstairs in the adjoining rooms which worked out really well. The setting with the lake is very pretty and sitting on the dock with our feet in the water was a pleasure. Overall, a great house and one that we really enjoyed.

The property is exactly as described. It is comfortable and had all the necessary conveniences. (We did miss a blender though). Even with a Baptist Summer Camp down the road, the lake area was quiet and the lake was wonderful for rowing, canoeing and kayaking and swimming and the neighbors we met were very friendly.

There were a lot of flies in the house. The Water smelled terrible. all the doors were hard to open and lock. none of the light switches worked but the exterior was nice and that’s more important at the lake

Although it was a rainy week the cottage was quite roomy for 4 adults and 2 kids under 3. Nice kitchen with lots of counter space.

We very much enjoyed our time at Lamoka Lake. We'll have some great memories. The sunsets were indeed glorious! The home was clean and well-appointed and the room a/c units came in very handy when temps were high during the first few days.

The location was perfect. Christy was responsive and helpful. The property was clean and it was a perfect place for a week away.

We had a great time staying here over Thanksgiving weekend. The house was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook a Thanksgiving meal (without a turkey, as the owner kindly sent us the measurements of the oven in advance and we decided not to attempt it). We enjoyed the fire pit and walks around the lake. We hope to be back in the summer!

The house is right on the lake, and was very clean. Lots of hiking just a short drive away!

Overall good experience

We had a fabulous time. The we use my husband and me and our son and daughter in law. It was chilly but there was a for pit outside. We bbq d one night. We got god from the Lost and Found up the road, quite good. We gotFood from a local organic farm. WeWent to a few wineries in beautiful locations and very closeBy. Views from the house were spectacular. The house cameEquipped with everything you could want. Imagine and then some. During this time of Covid it was a great safe get a way. Wish we lived closer.

1. Lake Location - right on the lake at lake level (no stairs for my elderly mom or dog) - I wasn’t sure about Lamoka Lake because i hadn’t heard much about it but it was clear water and beautiful!2. Proximity to Finger Lakes - right in the middle of Hammondsport and Watkins Glen - an easy 15 min drive either way.3. The Property- fenced in yard for my dog was perfect and provided privacy. 4. The house layout - Separation of bedrooms/bathrooms on 2 levels was great as my husband and I were traveling with my mom. House was great and roomy, and well supplied, plus 2 refrigerators!5. fishing on the lake - we caught fish right off the dock, it was awesome 6. Boats for use - we went for a nice canoe ride. Didn’t use the row boat, but it was nice to have the option.7. Fire Pjt - I love S’mores, and sitting by the lake with a bonfire roasting marshmallows was super fun.8 The owner’s responsiveness- I had lots of questions and the owners got back to me in a timely manner with helpful information.9. The garage - nice big garage so you don’t have to worry about your car on the street or finding parking - easy to load and unload the car.10. The area - you are right next to Amish country so produce stands are all along the route to town and you can bring fresh veggies to the house for your meal (that you can cook on your choice of a gas or charcoal grill, or in the nice roomy kitchen).Overall, it was a fabulous experience and I would definitely recommend this property.

Our family ranged from 6 to 78 and a small dog on this vacation . Fun was had by all. The lake is great for swimming . The fenced in yard is great for kids and dogs . The house was very clean. Plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely rebook!
