Unser geräumiges, 400 Quadratmeter großes Haus bietet viel Platz für Gruppen-, Mehrfamilien- oder große Einfamilienferien.
Ihr Besuch in La Bendicion beginnt mit Ihrer Einfahrt durch unser stattliches Haupttor, das Sicherheit und Privatsphäre für Ihren Besuch bietet und sich die asphaltierte Auffahrt zu unserem großen Parkplatz hinauf fortsetzt. Für zwei Fahrzeuge steht eine Garage zur Verfügung. Wir empfehlen für Ihren Besuch ein Allradfahrzeug. Es ist im Allgemeinen nicht erforderlich, um das Haus zu erreichen, aber für viele andere Orte, die Sie besuchen möchten, ist 4X4 erforderlich.
Die meisten Zimmer bieten Decken aus Kathedralenholz für ein echtes costaricanisches Flair. Unser klimatisierter großer Raum enthält einen Speiseraum sowie einen Familienraum für das Entspannen zuhause.
Der größte Giebel in Süd-Costa Rica umfasst eine geräumige Terrasse mit freiem Blick auf den familiengroßen Pool (10 x 5 m), das angelegte Grundstück und natürlich den Pazifischen Ozean.
Während Ihres Aufenthalts werden Sie die entspannende Melodie der nahe gelegenen Flüsse genießen, von denen einer einen Wasserfall in Gehweite hat. Das Haus liegt auf einem fast 2 Hektar großen angelegten Garten mit Kokospalmen und anderen Obstbäumen, darunter Orangen-, Limetten-, Mango- und Sternfrüchte. Sie werden auch die Schönheit der Bougainvillea-, Ingwer- und Orchideenbäume genießen.
Die private Master-Suite im Obergeschoss verfügt über einen Balkon mit herrlichem Meerblick sowie ein Jacuzzi-Zimmer, einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank und ein separates großes Badezimmer. Darüber hinaus sorgt eine Sicherheitstür am unteren Ende der Treppe für die Sicherheit aller Wertsachen in der Master-Suite während Ihres Aufenthalts.
Die drei Schlafzimmer im Untergeschoss haben Türen, die direkt zum Poolbereich führen. (Familien mit kleinen Kindern sollten dies sorgfältig beachten, da dies der einzige Zugang zu diesen Zimmern ist.) Ein Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad und die beiden anderen teilen sich ein Badezimmer. Alle Zimmer verfügen entweder über einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank oder einen Kleiderschrank. We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas at La Bendicion with our family and friends. The property and house were outstanding and exceeded our expectations, with Macaws and lots of birds flying around. We were all blow away by the views as soon as we stepped on the property. The property manager was incredible, she was very responsive to our questions or any issues we may have encountered which were very few. They really went out of their way to make sure our stay was amazing, they even decorated the house for Christmas including 2 Christmas trees. The house is close to all amenities and there are many different types of adventure excursions within driving distance away. We plan to come back here again as soon as we can!

Really can’t say anything bad about this place, it was super clean and very well stocked, the kitchen had everything you could think of including spices and basic staples. The place had a big supply of board/card games, books, local maps, pool toys and towels. All you need to bring is your own personal things!
Check in (and out) was super quick and easy, Dawn the property manager was very nice and helpful with any question about the property or local area.
The local area is quiet at the house, but yet close to lots of attractions and stores should you need something. The list of tours and recommendations given by the host was helpful, we did several of them and they were awesome.
The house and yard are very well maintained. It really is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. We have already recommended it to several of our friends.

The home was perfect for our family. The home was very clean and the grounds were beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything needed. The teens and adults loved the pool. Great location with quick access to many beaches and waterfalls.

This house was a wonderful place for our group of 5 with ages ranging from 18 to 73 yrs celebrating the 18 yr old’s HS Graduation. The beautiful home was located in a large garden setting with a view of the Pacific Ocean. When we were at the house our time was spent out by pool on the large covered patio. I, being the senior & not going on the activity tours, spent 3 days relaxing by the pool, swimming, reading books & so enjoying the peace & quiet. In the evenings after dinner the group would go night swimming & watching thunderstorms off in the distance from the patio.
The property manager, Dawn, was outstanding providing us with internet sites for scheduling activities tours before our arrival & food sources (restaurants & grocery stores) near house. The drive to the house from main road was always an adventure & you must have a 4WD vehicle. Dawn met us at the house on our arrival & did a walk thru explaining the everyday life at the house - meaning what to do when electricity goes out. This did happen quite a bit but a minor issue. It was never out more than 5-10 mins. The house has about everything you can ask for in way of supplies & kitchen set up. This is the first vacation trip over the years where we’ve not had to buy bottled water. The water is outstanding here in Costa Rica. The food at restaurants was marvelous. We wish we could have stayed a few days longer. Thank you Charles & Carol for making your home available to us.

Waking up to the exotic sound of monkeys and spotting hummingbirds the very first morning we couldn't ask for a better beginning of our Costa Rica adventure! The House was perfect for our family of 3 generations and the local host, Dawn, was very helpful and kind before, during and after our stay. I highly recommend La Bendicion.

The house is awesome. The master bedroom upstairs has a wonderful balcony with a sea view and a view of the lovely garden. Each room downstairs has it's own piece of the patio and the pool is perfect. The location is gorgeous. Definitely check out the Ojochal waterfall! The road up is an experience, especially at night. Once you are used to it it works fine, but for the first night make sure you bring dinner with you! It's dark.

we came down to the area to celebrate my grand-daughter's first birthday who lives in the area with my son and his partner. The house was perfect. It was a lovely property with beautiful views. The house was very comfortable and everyone agreed that their beds were super comfortable. Everything was really clean. The house is off a mountain road so you do need an SUV but most properties will require an SUV. Property managers Dawn and Charles were very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay.

Beautiful! The views, the house, the layout of the house accommodated our family which is now 3 families. It was perfect. Swimming pool and a wonderful yard to take walks, pictures and play in. Highly recommend this lovely house!

No matter how many positive things I have to say about our visit to Costa Rica, and our stay at Bellena, I'm sure I will still have forgotten to mention many more. From original contact, the hosts, Charles and Carol, reached out with all kinds of helpful information on everything from airport arrival all the way to the front door of the property. This was supplemented countless ways, by their incredible property manager, Dawn, with suggestions on everything imaginable from where to buy the best local food and cheapest liquor to zip lining, beach options, quite a few great area restaurants (e.g. there's a delicious "upscale" French restaurant just at the bottom of the hill!), maid service, local private chef for hire; you name it! The property itself is incredibly spacious and the layout could not be better. All rooms in the house, including the upstairs master and the three bedrooms on the main floor, have wonderful views encompassing both the pool and the ocean; with the jungle in between...couldn't be better! We love to cook and found the kitchen both spacious and well appointed. As for accessing the property, we rented an SUV from the airport and never had any problem with the local roads or access to the property, even in heavy rain. Just as enjoyably, the Costa Rican people are very laid back and wonderful to interact with. My wife is already figuring out our next opportunity to visit. Thanks guys. Pura Vida!

Beautiful home with a breathtaking view. Everything you could possibly want is provided. Some of the best restaurants are within minutes as is the beach. You will enjoy every minute of this home away from home!

Gorgeous Property!
My wife and I stayed here for 8 nights with our daughter, and we had 2 friends drive down from another part of Costa Rica to stay with us a few nights. This was our 4th trip to CR and our daughters 1st time.
This rental property was everything we hoped it would be, located on beautiful grounds. It is the rainy season so we were somewhat limited on what we could do, but we did use the pool several times.
Two things that really caught our attention - one was how clean the home was, inside and outside. The second was how awesome the Property Manager Dawn is! Even before we arrived she was a wealth of information on so many of the things one can do in Ojochal. She met us at the property after hours and showed us around the home and demonstrated how things worked. If we needed anything during our stay she was right on top of it!
All in all this is a great home and perfect for small or large groups. Thank-you to the owners for also making the booking process nice and easy :), a very pleasant change from that other popular rental company whom we will never use again.

Paradise Perfection
We celebrated our 20th anniversary at La Bendicion. It was so beautiful! Our son loved the pool. The views were just fantastic. It was a lovely place to call home for 9 days with so many amenities. The property manager, Dawn, was so kind & very helpful. We wanted a place away from the big cities but still with lots to do & that’s just what we got. There are many places to visit for day trips. Our favorite beach, Playa Ventanas was super close. There were also many amazing places to eat very close by. Guided tours at some of the national parks were also wonderful. We would highly recommend this property. Thank you Charles & Carol for letting us stay in your slice of paradise.

House was perfect for celebrating our 65th Wedding Anniversary, two other grandchildren's Wedding Anniversaries, and our son's 59th birthday. Six family members in four lovely bedrooms with lovely views of gorgeous flowers and the beach and ocean. Excellent experiences with local restaurants and local grocery stores.

Better than we could’ve asked for
This property is gorgeous, even more beautiful than the photos. The architecture is stunning, there has been a lot of time and thought put into the design. Plenty of shade and perfect for outdoor living. We enjoyed the pool every day, and rose to the sound of howlers and birds. Grasshoppers the size of our faces, the resident agouti and bullfrog. The kids loved it! It feels like you are living in the jungle (because you are!). All the amenities were wonderful, we hired Mayca to cook for us a few times a week and it was the best money we spent. The house is perfectly situated for sunsets and relaxation. Charles and Carol are absolutely lovely to communicate with, we had the best exchanges with them. We stayed an entire month and never wanted to leave! A huge thank you for sharing this gorgeous home with us.

BEAUTIFUL home & view & property & Toucans
We are a family of 5 (me, hubby, kids ages 27, 25 and 22) and we had the absolute best vacation at this home and in Costa Rica! Carol the property owner was great to speak with about all of my questions! She was always responsive when I messaged her, she even took the time to call me and we talked about all things Costa Rica! The home was PERFECT for our family! Each person had their own room which was important due to the ages and personalities! Each of the 3 extra bedrooms are accessed from the back covered veranda…this worked for our grown children but may not be idea if you have small children. We spent sooo much time every day on the back porch/veranda! We loved having the big gable to cover us as we were shielded from the sun and the rain in the evenings! We had a great view of the beautiful floral bushes and trees and of the OCEAN and even saw Cano Island from our master bedroom! The kitchen is beautiful and functional and has everything you could ever need! We made pina coladas and margaritas and enjoyed them on the back patio! We used the grill to cook fresh fish from a nearby fish market! The gorgeous master bedroom is upstairs and we loved our balcony for reading (could have used a coffee maker up there as well as small dorm room type of refrigerator) and enjoying the view! Each room/bedroom has a separate key which would be great for multiple families to stay at the property! Master has comfy king sized bed and 2 bedrooms have 2 full sized beds and one has 1 full/queen bed!
Romulo the manager helped us so much by booking a trip to Cano Island thru Bahia Aventuras and we saw 6 WHALES VERY CLOSE to the boat!! We followed them for about 45 minutes and made for such a memorable/bucket list moment!!! Romulo was always responsive to anything we needed and helped us with a few things during our 9 day stay! Book this house!! It was the best experience and best house we have ever stayed at!

Beautiful Home
This home exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful. There were seven of us on this trip and we each had our own space as the bedrooms each had their own separate entrance. The kitchen was large and roomy and had everything you needed to cook. The pool and outside patio area is where we spent most of our time as the view is breathtaking and the pool large and refreshing on those hot days. We barbecued out side and ate our meals outside the whole trip. The landscaping is gorgeous and the sunsets incredible. I slept in the upstairs bedroom and it was huge. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. There is plenty of lines, towels, beach towels and anything you may need here, even umbrellas by the front door. The property manager Romulo was super helpful. He met us at the main road and guided us into the property. If we needed anything at all, he was right there to help us out. the owners of the home are very nice and friendly and also answer any of your questions.. I hated to leave this paradise and would definitely recommend this home if you are in Costa Rica. In fact we have some friends booking the home for their vacation. Loved this home. You won't be disappointed.

A great house!
A beautiful place in the mountains with ocean view. The manager was very helpful. Playa Ventanas Is amazing and very close to the house. Private, secluded and well equipped place. We had a very nice time.

Quiet peaceful home
What a neat area! I would definitely strongly consider the advise to not arrive after dark. Our trip took longer than expected and so it was dark and a little nerve wracking when we arrived, the roads are not great and we had no idea where to go! But when we finally figured it out and the manager saved us, everything was great! The manager was very helpful with setting us up with zipline tours and awesome surf lessons. We loved being close to uvita and dominical. So much to do!

Pura Vida!
We had a wonderful stay at la Bendicion. The view around the pool and the garden is breathtaking. As previously mentionned, 3/4 bedrooms are separated from the house and each has its own private bathroom, except for two of the bedrooms which share one, so you’ll never feel like you’re all on top of each other if you’re a larger group.
Carol answered all of our questions and concerns and gave us so many recommendations. She also provided us with two play pens for the babies as well as a high chair. Romulo, the house manager, was also very nice and was always available if we needed him.
The only thing we would note is that the ceramic right around the pool is anti-slip, but the ceramic on the patio with the dining table isn’t, therefore it can be slippery coming out of the pool if you don’t dry yourself well.

La villa est juste exceptionnelle, comme l'annonce le laisse penser. Romulo est à notre service dès que nous avons besoin de quelque chose. Je recommande vivement cette villa pour ceux qui veulent passer quelques jours dans la région d'Uvita qui offre temps de choses à découvrir.

Beautiful home
We really enjoyed our stay in the home -- it's very spacious and airy. The AC worked really well and the internet/tv was super. The pool was the highlight of the place for us -- it was really large and our kids spent ages swimming around each day. The grounds of the home are very pretty with many gorgeous plans and trees. It is important to note that 3 of the bedrooms are not actually "attached" to the main house with hallways or anything. They all share the same large patio, but if you have kids you should be aware of this. It means once you lock up to go to sleep, no one can enter the main house (with the master bedroom, kitchen, tv lounge) until someone unlocks the door in the morning. Worth noting if you have children -- we ended up sleeping in the two bedrooms that were linked on the left so our kids would have access to us at night.
Overall, we really enjoyed this house and would recommend it!

Awesome
This is my first review ever on anything. I just don't do them! So I have to say, this is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting with a nice pool to boot! All is well maintained there, from the home, pool and landscaping. We all felt very safe and secure as well. I would highly recommend a stay there. Romulo, the property manager, was also very awesome. He was very attentive to our needs and had many good suggestions on activities we could do, places to shop etc. And he speaks English! When we did have a few little issues crop up, as you would expect in any rental, Romulo was there to take care of them promptly. I would suggest getting the WhatsApp for communicating though as emails weren't always timely (I was on vacation...). Also, I think a 4 wheel drive vehicle is a good thing have in this area. It didn't rain while we were there but I'll bet some of the dirt roads could be pretty slick when wet. We had to drive up some pretty steep roads to get to some restaurants we went to. Pura Vida!

Paradise
It is a beautiful home - very spacious with a beautiful property. Romulo was very helpful and accommodating to all of our needs. My only suggestion is to tell people in advance that they should rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle to allow easier access to the property. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation. Great family getaway house
Beautiful house in paradise-like setting made for an outstanding family vacation. Excellent restaurants, superb beaches and a variety of fun activities are conveniently located nearby. Amenities in house met all our needs and lovely property and pool were a delight and relaxing.

Beautiful home in a spectacular setting
We loved our stay in Costa Rica! The Rays have a gorgeous home on an amazing property. Open and spacious but very private and stunningly beautiful. We alternated adventurous days out with quiet days in and never felt we were missing out, with the great pool and beautiful grounds. Wish we would have paid better attention to the property description - a four-wheel drive vehicle really is a must - but we survived and would absolutely come back. Romulo was helpful and responsive, the local restaurants were great, we had everything we needed in the well stocked home, and we had the best vacation of our lives here. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Great Spot in the Mountains
We can’t thank Charles and Carol enough for making our trip easy. This place is nicely tucked away in the mountains of Ojochal and a must stay for those looking to get away from it all. You are surrounded by jungle and the house has a great little stream with several small waterfalls right close by which made it perfect for the kids. We were two families, four adults and four kids (11 & 14) and this house easily accommodated us. The owners are very responsive for anything you need and getting to the house from San Jose is simple (Waze App recommended). The town of Ojochal is awesome and your just down the road from Uvita and Dominical, so day trips are painless. The best beach spot we found was just down the main road called Playa Ventanas. Also make sure to hit Jolly Rogers and Bellena Bistro, two of our favorite spots. Thanks Charles and Carol for letting us rent your home, it was a trip worth taking!

An absolutely phenomenal vacation!
As someone who works in the travel industry, we travel often as a family, but I must say that this was one of our BEST vacations yet! We are a family of 4, with 2 children ages 10 & 8.
The home was stunning inside and out, and absolutely exceeded our expectations!
Quiet mornings by the pool in our private Oasis .....
It was clean & safe and perfectly situated!
The location was peaceful and quiet, away from it all .... yet close enough to fantastic restaurants, music & night life.
Ojochal in my opinion, is one of Costa Rica’s best kept secrets! Beautiful beaches, stunning scenery, and SO much to see & do!
The property manager was fantastic, he was on site to help us get settled, and offered loads of suggestions as to what to do and where to eat in the area!
I would HIGHLY recommend this rental home to friends and family .... we will definitely be back! Thank you again for making our family Christmas one of the best ones yet!

Magnifico lugar!!!
Espaciosas y confortables habitaciones, rodeados de naturaleza y vistas que devuelven la paz. Piscina muy amplia en la que pudimos disfrutar en familia. Muy limpio y agradable. Agrademos a los dueño de la casa Charles y Carol Ray por permitirnos conocer este pequeño paraíso en Ojochal de Osa.

Best outfitted kitchen I have ever had in a vacation home you really spared no exspence .loved every moment of your stay would highly recommend . Pool was very nice and comfortable outside furniture and great view

Villa magnifique, jardins splendides, un séjour inoubliable !
Que dire de plus, nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Les prestations de la villa sont de très bonne qualité, nous avons apprécié la présence de l'enceinte sans fil bluetooth pour profiter de la musique sur la terrasse , la piscine est grande et bien entretenue , la villa est au calme avec vue sur l'océan, les toucans et autres oiseaux nous ont survolé, des plages paradisiaques a proximité et Romulo qui s occupe de la maison est disponible, sympathique et de bons conseils !
