Had a great two weeks in Ketchum as always. Westridge #27 was super convenient to town and all of Ketchum’s amenities. This complex is one of the best and the Alpine staff were very helpful and attentive.

We loved the condo. You can walk to restaurants and the slopes (we used the overnight ski storage at the base of the mountain which was handy). We had a very hard time with Alpine Lodging whose front desk gave us a lot of really bad information (on transport, directions, and a coffee shop to wait until we could get into the rental (it was closed) and were generally unhelpful. Their directions to the condo were "around the corner." They later claimed they showed us on the map, but the map really focuses on Alpine Lodging itself. None of this is helpful when you're walking with a lot of luggage. No need for a car in Ketchum, but you almost need it just to deal with the rental agency. We did need something fixed during our stay, and Alpine Lodging was very responsive. The condo was well equipped although suggest that they get normal wine glasses. Also, they should switch to keyless entry. Finally, it would be nice if the Guest Book (with guidance) was a little more personal. We were looking for more recommendations and specifics on the condo, and it was just Alpine Lodging's generic, and not useful, guide.

This condo is cozy warm and inviting. The radiant floor heating is wonderful in the winter. It was a bank of windows facing east that lets in lots of light and warmth. The master bedroom, bath and closet is large and comfortable. Kitchen is well set up with a crockpot and cooking pans and utensils. Nice long countertops to use. Would be nice to have more small, juice size cups. Had plenty of dishwashing detergent and dishwasher pods. The washer and dryer is a stackable; we used it and it did fine. The second bedroom is a little smaller. There is a bathroom available to the hallway that the 2nd bedroom and the bunkroom can use. The management company is very helpful and easy to work with. The complex has underground parking. It was very quiet. The bus stop is right at the condo. Just one stop away from River Run Lodge at Bald Mtn; and the Wood River Walk/Bike/Nordic Trail.

Our group of four’s first time to Sun Valley and couldn’t have found a better location. One block walk to Bald Mountain’s parking lot/Lodge and three blocks from downtown! It was easy to get to/from the airport using free public transportation, bus stop right out the office front door. The condo was clean, beds were comfortable, view of Bald Mountain from the deck. It was perfect for a week ski trip. Only complaint- no recycling on site and dinner plates don’t fit in the dishwasher (Such a minor issue!) Our whole group plans to return

Great location and condition of condo. The complex has some noise issues and bad cigarette smoke problems however. I’d possibly stay at the other end of the complex but probably never in this particular unit again. And that’s unfortunate because the first time I stayed there (one year ago) I don’t recall the above issues.

We stayed at this condo for 3 months during the winter 2021/22 ski season. The condo complex is conveniently located within walking distance of both the River Run base lodge and downtown Ketchum. A free bus is an alternative to walking and stops next to the condo complex ~2x/hr. Underground parking is provided but unfortunately this unit’s parking spot must be vacated every Wednesday to allow nitrogen deliveries. Some visitor parking is usually available. An elevator allows stair-free access to the second-floor condo. The outdoor walkways are heated to melt snow without shoveling. Inside the condo has a nice layout and, as an end unit, is full of light. The comfortably furnished living room has an attractive gas fireplace and a nice view of the River Run gondola. The WIFI is excellent, and there is also a full cable package though the small living room TV makes sports-watching a bit of a challenge. The master bedroom TV is larger but has only one HDMI port which is used for cable TV box. The kitchen is nicely laid out, but sparsely outfitted with mostly oversized wares (the dinner plates are too big for the dishwasher). The electric oven has a loud fan and is off temperature by about 50 to 60 degrees on the low side. Allow 2 hours to bake a potato. The toaster has loose wires that touch and burn the bread. There is a high-quality propane barbeque on the balcony. Other conveniences include laundry, and a jetted bathtub with tons of hot water. The bedrooms are fine, though the master king mattress sags a bit, and the bunk room has no closet. Also, there can be noise from the adjoining condos above and below. While those units were not used continuously during our stay, when they were occupied we needed earplugs to sleep in the master bedroom (other rooms are quieter). Lastly, when the unit below us was rented to chain smokers, both our bathrooms were thick with cigarette fumes (perhaps the vent fan ducts are connected?). Aside from that one week, we enjoyed our

There is no AC, so we needed to request fans and open windows to cool off in p.m. Biggest problem was people below us were heavy smokers, and the smoke wafted directly into our condo. Alpine doesn’t manage that property and claimed they were powerless to help. The second alarming problem was an unannounced window washer climbed a ladder and peered directly into 2 bedrooms while some of the family was still sleeping. He also climbed onto our deck without our permission and had a direct view into the condo while we were lounging. Again, Alpine management was appalled but powerless stating he was not their employee, and they had no notification that this would occur.Less glaring, but noteworthy, is that the dishwasher left a chalky film on the dishes and needs maintenance. There is a nice view from the balcony and a gas grill but only room for 3 small chairs. The condo is a 10-15 minute walk into town but along a busy road and partially on a narrow shoulder. There is also a lot of traffic noise if windows are open in the morning.
