The location was very good! It was just a few steps from the sea, restaurants, shops and train station (Trenitalia). The apartment is spacious, but in the summer is very hot. There is AC in the bedrooms, but you can only turn it on when you are not in the room, because the AC unit is right next to the bed. The bathroom is big, but the shower cabin is extremly small. The apartment was very clean. The elevator works fine, but is very small, it fits max. 3 persons.

The owners ask you a cash deposit on arrival and they present you with a contract (about 10 Pages). Ofcourse you will sign it without reading it! Afterwards you will discover a number of clauses. The owners charged us 30 euros for not taking out the trash in one day. I repeat: 30 euros! I mean my God! If I would have known that one bag of trash would have cost us 30 euros, we would have taken it on the plane with us! Another aspect is that we felt that the owners knew everything that was going on in the apartment at any moment of the day. Besides from the trash incident Patrizia was very nice and she answered all our question.

It was very hot and there is no AC in the living room but the bedrooms are very cool and we slept well.

Good location

We were so mistreated on this stay !!! 1. The refrigerator doesn’t work, we informed them and they said the refrigerator was new and it was because the weather was hot !! 2. The water doesn’t go down on the shower, you have to keep turning the water on and off, we also informed them, they said it was because of a previous guest !! 3. The toilet door was locked from inside with anyone inside the toilet, Patrizia was really rude and came shouting at us saying was our fault. 4. We stayed one day without internet, the only thing she did was giving us a cell phone with a really bad hotspot. 5. There is nothing written about the elevator capacity was only 3 people and you can’t fit more than 3 there, and now they want to charge us with a fine , they are lying. They asked for a 150 Euros deposit, that was not written anywhere on the booking, it was paid in cash, now they are saying that they will return via bank transfer in two weeks !!! Never seen that before. But now I understand about the deposit, it’s all about finding an excuse so they don’t need to give it back !!!! We didn’t like, and I don’t recommend, I have never been treated that way.

The apartment is located in the heart of Castellammare's city center with the beach in very short walking distance and superb bars and pizzerias very near by. I do recommend this apartment and thank our very generous hostes very much!

We were slightly unlucky that the new elevator was still under construction, so we had to use the staircase. For everybody to choose this apartment after us, there will be an elevator up to the fourth floor.
