My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The cottage is very quiet and relaxing – just steps away from the beach. The hosts take a great deal of pride in the property and it certainly shows! It was immaculate inside and out. It was very comfortably outfitted and had plenty kitchen items, as well as a gas grill, that made it easy to prep & enjoy meals. The added bonus, and the nicest surprise, of our stay was the hosts – we truly felt at home! Highly recommend staying here!!!

This place was a slice of heaven. Jim And Marilyn are the best. The cabin is lovely, clean, and right on the beach. The only regret is that we didn’t stay 2 weeks instead of 1.

This was our 2nd stay and it was just as lovely as our first! House is nice and clean. Hosts are available and accommodating. Location is amazing! This house is on the beach and rolling up the windows in the morning feels like you are actually in the water. Nice little beach for swimming. Beautiful sunsets, we will be back next time we come. This little cottage is just like out of a dream. Clean, well stocked, awesome location and great owners. We loved being only steps away from east Twin Lake , and only a few minute drive from Lewiston where we enjoyed getting ice cream and doing some local shopping. The owners had lots of beach toys for our kids which they loved.

Quiet and cozy steps from the sand and the water. Wonderfully relaxing. Hosts were amazing to be around!

Cottage was exactly like the pictures! Hosts take a lot of pride in the property. Outside is beautifully landscaped. They are very friendly and the two days of rain we had, they offered suggestions to keep us occupied! Hosts are extremely accomodating. Highly recommend!!!

My husband, 5-year-old and 2-month-old enjoyed our stay at the charming Holiday House on East Twin Lake. The cottage was well appointed and had everything you would need for a one week stay. The owners were so friendly and checked-in to make sure we had everything we needed. The water was crystal clear. So rare to find an inland lake front place with a sandy beach for kids to play. We will definitely put this place on our list to return to!

This property is a quaint cabin right on the lake. It still has that cabin feel, but the look inside is more refined with furnishings, carpet, heat, and A/C, but it is still a small cabin. The beach is steps away, and it is a great area to watch the sunsets or look up at the beautiful stars. Other than that, it was far too cold for us to utilize the beach. This is not a luxury hotel, and if you are looking for luxury, then you are in the wrong place. It is a cabin in a small town, in the middle of the woods, with birds, and critters, bugs, and a lake. The cabin was clean, and they provided disinfecting wipes, and hand sanitizer. In no way, did we ever feel unsafe or worried about Covid in the house. Due to unforeseen issues, we arrived at the cabin far later than planned. We did not want to appear rude and wake up the neighbors (which I am sure we did), but the owners were very gracious and understanding. The sky was fabulous that night and we were grateful for the peace and tranquility it offered. They have a total of three cabins, with this one right on the lake. The entrance to the lane is difficult to find in the dark, so I suggest you try to get there sometime before dark. Look for the sign that says Holiday House, and the orange ribbons. The parking is across from the fire pit and was more than adequate for our large SUV and boat. One of the owners stayed in his cabin throughout our stay, but I do not believe this is a usual occurrence. He was kind and a gracious host. If we needed anything, he was more than happy to help. We tied our boat up to their pier and enjoyed several days of fishing and relaxation on the lake. Is this cabin perfect? No, but we didn’t rent this place for its perfection, we rented it for the view, the lake, the sunsets, stars, and the peace. If you are looking to work from home in this cabin, I would suggest bringing your own WiFi. They have internet and TV, but it sometimes glitches and that was okay. There is not cable, but they provide enough options on the smart TV to be comfortable. The bathroom is small, but it had everything we needed. The bedroom is tiny with a full bed, but who’s going to spend all their time in the bedroom? The bed was way too firm for me, but I just layered blankets on top.We really enjoyed our stay, and we would like to thank Marilyn, Roe, and Jim for opening their home to us and allowing us to use their pier. We had a great time!! This was a little oasis!!

We loved every minute, from check-in to check-out. Our hosts were wonderful and their attention to detail really made our stay lovely. We had a few questions prior to our arrival and communication was always quick and informative. Cleanliness was a top priority for them and this made us comfortable from the beginning of our stay. The cottage is the perfect size for a couple's getaway. They couldn't have thought of anything else to make it more enjoyable - sand, lake, bonfire pit, gazebo with picnic table, modern kitchen appliances, new living room furniture to relax on....just a perfect space for a vacation. We can't wait until we can return in 2021!!

The cabin was as advertised, very cute and quaint. It’s a small space, but well appointed for two people. The owners were very nice and the spot on the lake was lovely. Sunsets are beautiful...hope to visit again someday!

We stayed at Holiday House this past week for a little rest and relaxation during COVID. The owners were really communicative, welcoming, and generous during our stay. The cottage was cleaned and in perfect condition when we arrived. We enjoyed the private beach, rented a boat for the day at the local marina and used the private dock too. It was a great little cottage and beach! The water was super clean and clear as well. Overall, highly recommend this cottage and may be back in the future!!

Its very small but quiet. Still the size is very accommodating for sleeping arrangements. Myself, my wife, and 2 kids could all sleep comfortably. The view is a must see especially with the sandy beach front. Literally walking out the back door into sand is great for the little ones. The owners were very accommodating in everything and they are willing to do anything to make your stay that much better. It is a must book. We all loved it.

This little Oasis is the real deal! If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway you’ll want to stay here!

We had a wonderful time at the Beach House. Everything was exactly as described. Very comfortable and clean. It was just the right size for my husband and I. Our Son, daughter-in-law and grandson joined us for two night and used the sleeper sofas. Beach area with chairs was nice and clean and we enjoyed the lake. We used the firepit also. I would recommend it.
