The rooms had clearly been refreshed. Everything was new and clean Room had a great view of Rhine

No mini Refigerator was a let down

The hotel was located along the charming Rhein river park and the room was large, clean with very comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet on the top floor overlooking Mainz, was excellent with a generous abundant selection at an additional charge of 15EU. There was a reasonable parking garage across the street along the Rhein, or free on street overnight parking after 7 pm to 8am, otherwise an hourly meter charge.

Unfortunately it was very hot heat wave and they had no air conditioning. We couldn’t open windows for the cool evening because Mainz had a spider infestation and the outside windows were covered with cobwebs and big spiders. So we didn’t dare open windows and with no AC it made the room a sauna and we got very little sleep .

Room was lovely with little balcony at rear. Loved hearing school children playing during their break outside. Loved hearing the church bells ringing, and loved the panoramic view from the top floor restaurant. Sadly, I feel the price for the breakfast ist just on the expensive side. A good option, though when you are short of time.

Having only one smallish lift can be a problem at busy times,.

the room, which admittedly was one of the cheapest, was on the top floor and was like an oven. it had the sun all afternoon and evening and had no air con. I still liked the hotel tho.

Nice Size room with balcony to look over the Rhine

The hotel is situated right on the promenade and really close (10 minutes walking distance) to the city centrum. We were even able to find a parking space on the boulevard next to it. The room was clean and spacious.

No internet connection at all in the room - definitely it's a general problem as another guest was contemplating about the same when we arrived. The curtain of the shower cabin was all the time sticking to my wet back - it was pretty annoying. Better solution is needed to keep the water out of the cabin!

The bicycle locker room is great.

Good position between the old town and new town. Beautiful view on the river Rhone.The view from the restauranti is simply amazing. Breakfast is good but quite expensive. The room was large, confortable and very clean.

No chance for a cheap continental breakfast, nor cafée nearby to have it. Wifi didn't work. We booked a double bed but it was actually 2 twin beds.

The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good with a great view. Easy to go places by foot and right across the street from the Rhein river. Good price and easy access to public parking garage.

It could have used a second pillow and coffee machine or hot water cooker.
