In the middle of town near to the castle

The fact that the kitchen staff told me that there was 2 minutes left of service at breakfast when I arrived at my alloted time and there was no food left.
Very poor service
And they called me a Karen for sticking up for a service I had already paid for.
The shower was rubbish and too small.
It was a good job the darkness were outstanding because the stay was not.
I believe I was overcharged for a very small room.

Breakfast was a little underwhelming, food selection but even though we were down early some of the food had clearly been standing a while and was overcooked

Lovely place, food was very good, nice and clean, bed was comfortable and staff very friendly and welcoming.
We only stopped for one night,weather was atrocious, it didn't stop raining, and we never had the pleasure of sitting outside by the river that runs past and the gorgeous outside,otherwise no negatives.

I fell going out the back door couldn’t distinguish the lower step slabs on the top and slabs below no difference in the colour and it was getting dark

Literally 5 minutes walk to the castle. The room was great, clean and well decorated. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
The extra evening meal wasn’t as good as we hoped for. Both had sea bass which although cooked well was under seasoned and had nothing with it like lemon or lime to give it some taste. They had run out of herb potatoes at 5.45pm and the spring onion mash was a little underwhelming.

Cheap, lumpy mattress. Breakfast not great. Toaster was ridiculous. Tea was luke warm. Had to wait for breakfast items as a few had run out. I'm OK with buffet but an egg station would be a bonus. Cheap condiments.

Excellent location, very stylish decor.
Bathroom absolutely tiny, really not adequate for for a family room. We really struggled trying to shower our children in there as definitely not big enough to fit 2 people in the room itself. Room at the front of the hotel. Road outside is extremely loud til late on.

Old style splendid hotel! Friendly and helpful staff. Impeccable cleanliness and confortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

Historical hotel in a perfect central location and finding parking was easier than expected. Welcoming common spaces, lobby with wooden stove, breakfast room and bar recently redecorated. Good breakfast.
Room quite basic in comparison but clean and quiet and confortable mattress. Electric shower quite noisy. Air dryer would have been handy.

Lovely and welcoming staff, hotel is located in beautiful old building with a rich history which the staff kindly explained to us. Good breakfast and clean rooms.
The mattress could use an update but nonetheless we slept great after a long day of traveling!

Nice clean well presented hotel
We booked a room with a double bed and bunk beds. We got two single beds instead which disappointed the kids. These beds were extremely uncomfortable.

The only good thing about this hotel was the polite young girl behind the bar
Dirty towels in the room with blood on them, took them down to reception to make a complaint , they took my room number and I waited 10 minutes for fresh ones
The breakfast where do I start , No tables, No cutlery, No plates ,no food everything was a nightmare my wife refused to eat there as was dirty . once again made a complaint
Got on to our booking agent Booking.com who were very helpful , they raised my concerns only for Warwick Arms to deny
please do not stay here you do not know what you are letting yourself in for
staff are a joke and not helpful whatsoever
