noise from trains in very early morning of weekdays:starting from 4-5am. weekends and holidays were okay: 7-8am.

Parking on site was good as it wouldn't have been easy to park in the centre of town. Breakfast was provided in the room, and it was rather good

I never saw a staff member at the hotel after checking in not sure about breakfast policy so helped myself to food in the breakfast room

the only thing to be aware of is that this hotel is at the train station. actually closer than I realized. the train was 15 feet outside my window. which is perfect for just a quick stay in Agrigento. however, there is a little noise when the trains start up. it wasn’t enough to keep me from sleeping, but I was awake early each morning. not a problem, just be aware if you are planning a long stay.

Nice hotel: very clean, modern, good wifi, and free parking located near and on the same level as the hotel. Central location, excellent to discover the city.

Although I wrote upon booking that I need to park the car, I received no information. As a result, I had first difficulty to find the hotel: when you arrive in front of the train station, unless you know the place, it is hard to imagine that you have to enter the train station, go down the floors and that you find the hotel next to the train docks. Same for parking: I searched for it for half an hour in the neighbourhood as the lady at the reception was unable to explain me that it was next to the train docks, actually just in front of the hotel, which is very comfortable. Maybe that is the Italian way of making things complicated when they are actually simple.

Interesting location and the room was nice. It would have been advantageous to have better directions before we arrived (it’s on the other side of track #5) because the hotel is not on the piazza above the station.

Note that this is an unattended hotel. After staying in many hotels and apartments across Europe, this place was only a little of both, and did not offer the advantages of either. We irritated the staff because we were a little late arriving (from the confusion regarding the exact location). Apart from that interaction, we had no contact with anyone else. It felt like a vacant hotel. And we were responsible for the security of the entire place during our four-night stay.

Everything was excellent. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Agrigento.

The location of the hotel may be better marked for people coming by car.

Unfortunately I couldn’t sleep enough because of trains were louder. Location in platform 5 wasn’t clearly mentioned in adres !!! In fact you are spending night in central station next to the train. Personal are working till 19.00 And I didn’t manage to prepare coffee for my breakfast, but a lots of staff they left in room and kitchen

the cleanliness of this hotel from the front door up to the our room was emasculate. also it was walking distance to bars and restaurants.

not that we didn’t like anything about the property but more of the location taking us by surprise, located in front of the train station however we liked it, it was different which is something we look for when we travel.

Very noisy! Not the trains, our kid loved them. We had room 14, directly above the train station and you hear the waiting talking people all night (and if you open the window you smell the smoking). Worst was a ringing bell for about 10 minutes, every time a train arrives, this very annoying bell is just next to your pillow. We suggest not to stay in room 14.

Location on railway station. Imagine the enthusiasm of our children!

This was the second time I used Agrigento Home. It is located a very short walk from the old town and parking is free of charge to residents.

We arrived at around 5.00pm and I had to call to let them know that we arrived as there was no one at reception and the door was closed. It took another 15 minutes for someone to turn up.
