Very nice family owned accommodation with a stunning Lions Rock view. The owners really cared about the guests and organized for example drinks which they haven’t had at the accommodation or an early morning ride to the rock.

I was so happy staying here. Fled a very dirty hotel and ended up here last minute. The room and bathroom were super clean, the room has a nice and big bed and a mozzienet without holes: all looks very new and well maintained. Had a beautiful view on lions rock from my room and there’s a nice balcony. The staff is very nice and speaks good English. The owner can arrange all kinds of outings. Breakfast was good. Oh and it’s a 5 minute walk to town, on a road that I felt safe on even in the evening, traveling alone as a woman. Just bring a light.

the scenery is exceptional. Scenic and calm. breathtaking view on Lion’s Rock, situated right next to rice fields. the host is super nice and helpful. Milton made us feel so welcome and cared for. he showed us around the area in his Tuktuk showing us all the great spots. Sigiriya was my favourite place in Sri Lanka and the paradise inn my favourite accommodation. I hope to visit again. absolutely recommend!

The location is highly nearby Sigiriya Rock. Also, The staff is very friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the rooms are well-cleaned and comfortable. Highly Recommended for Stays.

The nature view is not much satisfactory with the family room's location. However, all other rooms are situated in the most pleasurable location which has viewpoint of Sigiriya rock. overall experience is Excellent.

Excellent location, the family that runs the place provides excellent food as well. The view and the general setting of the inn is amazing.

It is in a great place, it is quite. Nice view from the terrace to a rice field and to the Lion’s rock. Frogs were singing during the night. Breakfast was also good with local dishes and omelettes in local flavourings. staff is also friendly and nice.

we had nice talks with the owner and on the fourth night he offered free tour, Ayurveda massage around the area and a free dinner. Next day we made a nice 2 hours trip with tuktuk in the surroundings, and we went to an extremely expensive Ayurveda massage place. We saw the prices and we decided not to take the massage. After it, he said in the evening, that we had to pay for the tuktuk and the dinner also.

Everything was spot-on! Beautiful premises, Clean rooms, Perfect bedding, Shower with warm water and not to forget a balcony with the most stunning view; looking over their ricefields with Pidurangala & Sigiriya rock on the background. Host Milton makes you feel at ease upon arrival, making it hard to leave when you have to go.. We’ll definitely be visiting again!

The owner and his beautiful family are just lovely!! They created an amazing stay for us! The breakfast was probably the best we had in Sri Lanka! Especially the view was just insane ;) It is good located, so you can reach almost everything within 5-10 min walk (restaurants) or a short tuktuk drive (The Rocks). It was super clean and they also cleaned our room again after we extended for a longer stay. It is so much more to say about this place, just try it out!! Promise, you won’t be disappointed ;)

Milton, his wife, Nirmala and family are EXCEPTIONAL hosts. My 2 night stay was extended to 4 nights due to their collective enthusiasm, Milton's extensive knowledge of Sri Lankan history, botany and wildlife and Nirmala's cooking. The view at Sigiriya Paradise Inn is nothing short of spectacular, you can see both Sigiriya Lion Rock and Pidurangala Rock from the room terrace and from the eating area loft. The mountain view room is definitely worth the little extra. Tasty smoothie drink upon arrival. Milton is a former tour guide and is able to tell you everything about the areas of Sigiriya, Polonnaruwa, Anudrahapura (the last two being tuktuk excursions that Milton insisted he show me before I left Sri Lanka...I was not disappointed). He was a constant wealth of information and super happy to share the most interesting tidbits. Take advantage of every opportunity you get to take an excursion with him. Not knowing much about the country on my arrival, I feel I've learned much more than most tourists. Milton's wife, Nirmala should have her own restaurant. Her meals were plentiful, intriguing (Lots of new stuff that I had never heard of), healthy, fresh (farm to table!) and most especially they were all delicious. They explained what each dish was including the health benefits of each ingredient. She even took into consideration that I am celiac and planned so many different dishes that I would be able to enjoy. I would like her to be my personal chef. My room was immaculately clean, had a mosquito net around a comfy bed, a refrigerator, a great shower and nice bathroom. The AC worked exceptionally well (thankfully...it's humid in SL). The internet was perfect, had a great signal, and was fast. Laundry service is available. Staying at the Sigiriya Paradise Inn was one of the best experiences, I feel like I made great friends and hope to keep in touch with them.

There were a couple of power disruptions during my stay (gov't issues),but Milton and family always came by my room to make sure there was nothing I needed and to make sure I had a torch. The black outs didn't last long and are due to the economic crisis Sri Lanka is facing. Mosquitos - mosquito spray definitely needed...but as is the case everywhere in SL.
