The location wasn't as described, the carpets where stained, the bed mattress was stained, broken and cracked window and door glass, cracked floor tiles in kitchen, cobwebs on the lights in the kitchen, dirty crockery and cutlery, overall pretty grime, promise a 50% refund, but still waiting a week later, the owner was extremely rude and unhelpful when spoken too on the phone.

Great place to experience Rye. 400 year old building on main street but modern inside. Close to nice restaurants

- Charming town & charming upstairs apartment (spread over two floor). - Very clean. - Nice beds/linen & towels. - Excellent location on the High street.

- It didn't really affect us (as we were three sisters) but you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other..... this might be an awkward arrangement for some other parties (as it's not made particularly clear on the web page). - The passageway to the apartment was really rather dark - could do with some sensor lighting. - (The above are intended as constructive comments - the pluses far outweighed the minuses with this property!😊)

Access in and out of the apartment was, at best, awkward. Once inside, the level of cleanliness was disappointing, in particular the bathroom, where mould was growing around the bath. In addition we found the oven was filthy as was the microwave. There were no instructions on how to use any of the kitchen equipment. We were equally disappointed to find that we were unable to open any windows in the property, which, because of the amount of dust in the property, made being inside extremely uncomfortable. Add to this the noise and disruption of the building works in the neighbouring property made our week away very, very disappointing.
