Beautiful property, very clean, good beds & our teenagers loved the large pool. Owner offered immediate assistance in case of problems (for example, a temporary power cut after a storm was quickly fixed). Recommended!

Nice house on top of hill with nice view.
Few kilometers to the see but very quiet place.
The house is well equipped and clean.
Aircon in all rooms.
Big pool and convenient pool house.
We enjoyed our stay.
Check in & out a bit restrictive (hours) but okay anyway.

We had a great vacation (one week) with our kids and grandchildren. It is a fantastic house with a great garden and poolarea and with the most beautiful view towards the sea and Cannes. The house is lovely and spacious, large bedrooms and bathrooms and a nice kitchen with everything you need.
The area (uphill) and the small villages in the surrounding area are so scenic, that we gave up taking a trip to Grasse or Cannes and just enjoyed the nature. We spent also a lot of the day and evening outside, around the large dining table or by the great pool. (except for Tour de France finals 😊)
Overall, would highly recommend the property. Excellent place to stay and our hosts were very helpful on arrival, during our stay and when leaving - a beautiful place we would love to come back to.

We (grandmother (61), myself (38), my sister (36) and my niece (9)) spent two weeks in this great property, which we found to be exactly as advertised - large house, large gardens, and great pool area. We found everything we needed and could want. Anthony was more than accommodating and made sure we were comfortable during our stay.
The house is very well suited for children (fenced garden, pool alarm etc.) and possibly also for disabled (no stairs to enter the ground floor, bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and terraces and pool area accessible without stairs).
The views from the house and garden extend directly to Cannes and the sea and are better than advertised. The property is located on the top of the hill as the last property before the woods and so, is very peaceful with no neighbors to disturb. While a 4x4 is not necessary, the road to the house is rather narrow. One does need a car, as shopping is some kilometers away - this is the price for privacy.
All in all; a great property in a quiet location offering plenty of room inside and out which I am happy to recommend as a base for a visit in southern France. We certainly enjoyed it.

Lovely house located on a large hillside property facing South with a breathtaking view. House is extremely well equiped, very well arranged and offers a sizeable pool in a truly pleasant environment. Although the house seems secluded, restaurants and grocery shopping are only a few miles away. And if you like to alternate beach and backcountry discovery, this location is ideal.
Last but not least, the Owners - Alexia and Anthony - are clear in thei communication, responsive and easy to deal with.

We had a fabulous fortnight in Anthony's Villa; our host was very helpful and the property was immaculate - spotless and well equipped. The plot itself is stunning with incredible views out towards Cannes and Mandelieu both in daytime and the sparkle of night-time. the wildlife is amazing with deer, red squirrels and a variety of butterflies which add to the ambience. The pool was great and it was easy to find shade to read a book etc - the terrace was a great place to dine, barbecue and in particular it was great to have our breakfast out there.

There were 8 adults and one small child in our party and the villa catered for all us. I can only reiterate all of the positive statements made in other reviews and agree that it is a fantastic place. The villa is situated high up in the hills and you need a car with a good clutch although you do get used to the steepness of the drive up! The views from the terrace are absolutely stunning and it's a superb area to relax, read and just enjoy the panorama looking over to Cannes and the coast.
The villa itself is clean, spacious and has all modern amenities being very well equipped. British TV would be useful especially if you're staying during the Olympics but that isn't a huge inconvenience!!!
The garden area and pool is lovely and very safe for children. Anthony, the owner, is very helpful and did everything to make our visit enjoyable.
A key criteria for me is would I go back and re-visit and in this case there would be no hesitation - a resounding YES. This is the best Villa I have stayed in since visiting the South of France over the last few years.

Well equipped comfortable villa with amazing views and a lovely pool. Spacious, clean, super balcony surrounded by olive trees, BBQ, really everything you need. The road up to the villa is very steep but it does give you the views. Forest track further up the hill great for a scenic run west towards Grasse. A great area to explore or just relax at the villa.

We spent one week at the end of July. Being up in the hills you get a slight breeze which was welcoming at the height of the summer. Excellent accommodation, very clean with good facilities. Outdoor area spacious and private with the occasional wild deer appearing in the woodland behind. Spent lots of time lounging around very nice poo. There is a balcony with outdoor seating, with a canopy if needed for extra shade, where we also ate. Views towards Cannes exceptional. Car essential as relatively remote from shopping areas. Would definitely come back. Thanks Anthony.

We stayed for 2 weeks. Fantastic panoramic views. Great villa, nicely decorated and clean. Large spacious grounds with good sized pool and kids play area. Good food in local restaurants, plenty to do and see within a short driving distance. The owner Anthony was extremely helpful and readily available for any advice . Would highly recommend.

We spent a week in this great villa early June. Weather on our week was very warm and pool was in active use. We were 8 adults in my family and 4 bedrooms was perfect for us - one for each couple. Since we had a baby of 1 year with us, I can say that villa is very suitable for babies as well - toys to play with, high chair, baby bed, pool alarm etc.. The villa is in good shape and very clean. The owner, Anthony, speaks good English and is very helpful in everything kind of topics. Own car is needed, since Villa up in mountain. I can warmly recommend!

We are a family of four and we stayed in Villa l’Oliveraie the 1st 2 weeks of August 2014 with 2 children (6 & 8). What a fantastic place it is! The villa is situated high up in the hills in the middle of the forest. The first few times you need quite some courage to take the drive up (very small & steep roads!), but it is all so worthwhile! The views from the terrace are absolutely stunning! No picture can ever capture the beauty of the breathtaking panorama! Although it is still a bit of a drive to the coast, you can see all the way to the ocean. And if you’re lucky, you’ll have a free view on the fireworks .
What we didn’t know before, but was a wonderful surprise, was that late in the evening or very early in the morning, we got surprise visits on the higher and lower terraces from several deer! Once we even spotted a wild boar nearby!
The villa itself is clean, spacious and has all modern amenities. VERY well equipped!
The garden consists of different terraces with a small lawn next to the house and a nice swing & slide for the children on a lower terrace. Big winner was the pool! Perfect size and it slopes from 80cm to 190cm at the deepest part. All safe for children as the pool has a hard cover and the garden & terrace are fenced off.
The owners, Alexia & Anthony are lovely people! Very helpful both before our booking as in France! And Stephane, who takes care of the garden and the pool every week was very friendly as well; he gave us many tips on where to go and what to visit. However, the villa is so appealing, the pool so inviting and the view so spectacular, that we preferred to stay on the property most of the time.
There are various supermarkets in the area, but even for a bakery, you’ll need to take the car. Just as long as you do a few big shopping trips, you’ll be fine.
The owner produces great olive oil!
We have been renting villa’s in the South of France for the past decade, and this one was by far the best price / quality!

What a gorgeous place to stay.
The location of the house is great- a quiet neighbourhood, not overlooked, yet close to the village, and within half an hour of the beach. Wonderful views.
This is a well- equipped, tidy home, and we had a great time with our 3 children relaxing by the pool in the day, and watching distant summer firework displays at the coast by night.
Our hosts couldn't have been kinder, and gave useful advice about the locality promptly by email.
Would love to come back for a whole summer if we had the chance!
