Meeting service with keys was dreadful. Contact people very rude and abrupt when asking for anything.

The conversion of the old Covent is very tasteful and the pool and sunbathing area is beautiful with a large pool. There are several lovely sun beds with cushions and there is a permanent lifeguard who also keeps the area tidy and safe. The accommodation was extremely well stocked for self catering accommodation and the Wi-fi and air con all worked well. The showers were powerful and hot. The location was ideal with just a short walk into the delightful town. The customer service was polite and professional.

This is not really a negative point but there was a slight misunderstanding on our booked accommodation and after a late flight which was a little frustrating but it was dealt with promptly, professionally and remedied immediately. The customer service was excellent with personal attention and our holiday was highly enjoyable due to the professional service. The situation was managed so well and we had a beautiful holiday.

Location is excellent and the pool and surroundings are beautiful. Convento das Bernardas is simply beautiful. The full-channel TV is our room was very helpful with the children (6 & 10). The kitchen was mostly well equipped.

Poor instructions about the general rules of the Convento das Bernardas. There is a Zen feeling about the apartment and surrounds, but this philosophy translates to lack of utility! Bathrooms beautiful, but the floors get flooded when the showers are used. We could not put clothes to dry outside the apartment but we did not know this rule. Also, the appliances are good but difficult to use. A simple instruction sheet in multiple languages would have saved us a lot of time. Finally, some things in our apartment were broken - such as blinds and hinges on cupboards. The owner should fix these for the next visitor! Would I return? No.
