Location was perfect for a beach loving family, to fall out of the front door to a sandy beach was great!

The second double room was small it was fine for my two children but if it was two adults it would have been a problem

We loved the location! The proximity and access to the beach was the biggest bonus of staying at this property. The little terrace/observatory attached to the main bedroom was really nice and doubled up for us as a sun room :)

Beds were too springy, and provided little or no back support. There was a smell of damp in the kitchen when we checked in, which stayed the duration of our stay. The floor was also quite sticky, which was surprising considering that we had been informed that the cleaners had come in just prior to our arrival. The property could be spruced up overall, it felt in need of some TLC.

Great Location.

Location is ideal for beach walks. Owners very accessible and responsive. Rooms were neat and clean. Thoughfully laid out furnitures and fixtures.

The beds could be a bit more firm. The rental could be a bit more affordable.

The property was very clean and comfortable with lots of nice touches to make it cosy. Everything was done to a high standard! All we needed for our stay was provided - couldn’t fault. The location was amazing - it couldn’t be closer to the sea without actually being on the beach - we even saw seals whilst sitting in the balcony room.

Clean and right on the beach front perfect if you like to hear the waves as you go to sleep

The balcony had the lower windows as frosted glass so when sitting in the chairs you can not see the sea. If the chairs were raised by only a little you would have sea views when sitting down. We added cushions to the chairs so we could see the sea while sitting down.

Brilliant location - right on the lovely sandy beach. Very well equipped house - everything you could need was supplied. Nice and warm during chilly spell. Enclosed balcony was fabulous reading room - very relaxing hearing the waves on the shore.

A few things could have been cleaner e.g. lower windows on balcony, light switches, tiles around bath and living room blinds. No big problem, though and this did not detract from our visit.

Amazing location. Clean property.

Smaller than expected. Second bedroom has just enough space for the bed. Frosted glass in the enclosed balcony ruins the view and makes it difficult to see anything. Kitchen very small and very basic amenities.

You could not get anywhere nearer to the beach! I loved that we were so near, and to go to bed with the sound of the sea in your ears is delightful.

One or two things could have been improved to make or more homely.

The house is lovely nice size lounge, there is also a downstairs toilet which is very useful as I had elderly parents with me, to walk to the beach takes about 30 seconds and what a lovely beach it is too. From the upstairs front bedroom there is a room with large windows looking over the beach and North Sea it also has a telescope. the 2nd double room is small but you only sleep there, the upper room is a nice size single. There is a bathroom on the 1st floor down two steps. Everything you need is provided including tea, coffee and sugar and a coffee machine with pods. If I owned this house I would live in it ;) My photos show the top of the Beach house 2nd from the right, also the sunrise, a seal and me paddling from the beach outside the house.

The stairs are a little steep and I was worried for my parents coming down, nothing the hosts can do its the design of the house but just a warning for elderly or young children

It was in a great location and the view of the sea was amazing.

Lovely views from the balcony to the sea. Quiet location right on the beach.

Problems with parking in narrow road. Had to pay to park in council car park several times.

Location is fantastic! The master bedroom with the balcony is just fabulous and the decor relaxing and lovely.

The 3rd bedroom is very very small - it has a double bed and enough space to walk around. Not a problem for a weekend but wouldn’t like to stay longer if I’m this room.

We returned to Marina Beach in Caister as the location of the house is perfect. They’re pet friendly which is important for us. Our hosts also listened to our previous feedback and implemented some improvements. Hosts are there to answer queries, even virtually. Spacious downstairs and enough rooms for a big family. The carpet is comfy and adds a touch of luxury to a beach house. Love the addition of the extra sofa and armchair. Decor is beautiful. Shower and bath are great. Little conservatory is a touch of fun and relaxation.

The cleanliness isn’t as good as can be. The placemats on the dining table when placed in hot water and Fairy liquid left a muddy water after. The vacuum is subpar. The stove/cooker can be temperamental. Fridge low and small - ideal for 1-2days not longer. Large grey sofa seems to have run its lifecycle. Outside is probably the area most in need of improvement. Would be great to have somewhere to sit. Even better if it could be an enclosed area out front with the sand to dip your toes into, especially in summer. Probably not in control of hosts but if sand dunes out front could be lowered to have sea view from living room / outside, this place would be perfect!

The location on a quiet no through road by the beach and relaxing in the upstairs conservatory. Good WI FI and TV. The owners were quick to respond to our issues

There were some improvements that would greatly enhance the comfort and convenience e.g. more side tables, a better mattress in the main bedroom, somewhere to put the cloths you take off, the shower temperature wouldn’t regulate etc

Warm, comfy and very close to the beach. Very convenient

No bedding on the 5th bed so had to buy some from Tesco (thank god for Tesco!) No side tables or storage for clothes so living out of bags for the week

Everything was perfect,decor, cleanliness, location, facilities.

Bed was a tad lumpy in main bedroom.
