WI-FI worked well. The property was in the location we required and there was good off road parking. There was a great pub and other facilities close by. There was plenty of space in the accommodation. There was plenty of storage space in the lodge. It is very peaceful and quiet in the lodge. We saw deer and birds from the lodge. We didn’t see our hosts during our stay. We couldn’t classify this as outstanding accommodation, however it was adequate.

The shower in the bathroom didn’t work. This was problematic for us as we were two couples plus we weren’t informed until the day before arrival, we weren’t offered any compensation for the shower not working. The towels were old and slightly worn. The property wasn’t very clean for our stay, for example there were hairs in the bath. The kitchen equipment was basic. There were no instructions for the kitchen equipment, the fire, the TV’s, rubbish disposal or recycling. In our extensive experience when paying this price for a 3 night stay in self catering accommodation there is usually a welcome pack provided.

The view was wonderful, the lodge very clean and comfortable 👌 like a little retreat.

Great location for walks and getting to the coast on foot. The forest is also at a walkable distance. The view from the window to the fields is calming and the birds and deers that make an appearance are a spectacle. I also liked the breakfast bar.

The place was clean enough but wasn't spotless. The photograph of the outside shows a barbeque but there isn't one. It wasn't clear what to bring along specifically for this property (handwash, shampoo, etc). But there is a shop few minutes drive away. It's harder when arriving late in the evening.

first time we’ve stayed in a lodge…..very warm and comfortable and considering the weather very soundproof…Good location for what we wanted to do. Good internet to. very clean and comfortable beds. Good bathroom..

could do with a dishwasher but this wasn’t a major issue as we know how to wash up.

Sofas were saggy and oversized. Difficult to get out of. Kitchen not well stocked with equipment for cooking and dishwashing supplies (better skillet, pasta strainer, dish drainer, serving bowls, etc.
