The property is well maintained and well located. Many malls and restaurants nearby, and is very close to the beach too. The only downfall is that the hotel doesn’t “own” its private area on the beach, it’s only a public beach. The pools are amazing, with salt water, at perfect temperature and plenty of lounge areas surrounding them. The spa is magnificent and the staff is very friendly and always happy to accommodate. The breakfast buffet is good and offers large choices of everything.

At first, they gave me a room that wasn’t the one I paid for (downgrade) and I had to request the change. Of course they knew they “made a mistake” and changed it right away the next day. I find this technique to be wrong however 😑 The food isn’t the best, except for anything with fish & seafood. (maybe my Standards are high because I’m French? 😅) Lastly, charging 50€ for a late checkout (3h extra) is a bit much, especially since I’ve stayed a full week in a suite and already paid a lot for it.

Very well presented hotel. The pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and attentive staff. A good restaurant serving lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day. An excellent buffet breakfast. Good location with a nice small beach nearby but only a nice walk from the longer beaches and activities of the town

I didn't find the spa staff very welcoming when I inquired about spa treatments

Position. Breakfast. Some of the staff particularly the ladies at reception who were delightful. One very slight lady with glasses was very helpful on first day and thereafter always greeted me with a smile. A porter called Alex very good snd helpful to me. I have slight walking difficulties and he helped down the stairs. The maids were also charming and helpful, as were the breakfast staff. The singers in the Bar at night were quite pleasant to listen to. The food in the pool bar was very good.

The bath in the room was odd, and I only got the hang of the shower on the last day. Definitely need some adjustment. Although they were very efficient I found the two gentlemen at the reception unapproachable. A smile and friendliness is very important in reception, fortunately the ladies made up for them. The Portofino restaurant which we went to on first night was very mediocre and totally devoid of any atmosphere. The pool bar food was very good.

I booked a sea view room, when i went t my room it was facing a wall. I went to the reception to let them know as I had paid a considerable amount more. They said to go back to my room and someone would call and let me know what was happening and if I could move. 2 hours later no call. I went back to reception and they said the same. After explaining this had already happened and I'd rather stay in the room get a discount and have been told straight away they couldn't offer a sea view as i'd just waited two hours, they agreed. No apology. I asked for the money to be put back on my card, they said this would happen and Id be offered something else by way of apology. This didn't happen. When I left I had to ask again for the money back

Poor restaurants for the size of the property during the day and night.

I booked a suite but was shown to a smaller family room, (I was sharing with my sister), luckily I had taken a screen shot of the room I had paid for at the time of booking. The suite was lovely and worth the extra two hour wait but in fairness we arrived before check in time. The location, pools/pool area and service at the pool side beds, all wonderful.

The main body of the hotel, is looking tired, large areas are unused, empty, cavernous spaces, perhaps a small club lounge for continental breakfast, small snacks and drinks could be available. HATE the pettiness, of paying for an upscale room/suite, to be told coffee pods are limited to 6 for the whole of our stay(8days) and the milk pods to be charged at 50cents a pot, absolutely scandalous!!!! Room service menu needs to be extended, it is rather basic.

This was my second stay and it’s a lovely situation with close access to white sandy beach and high end shops. The hotel is elegant and rooms beautifully decorated. Highly recommend.

the location is fine.

I didn’t like anything about it. We did understand what the point to have a gold room, it was weird room setting. the hotel is kinda old. if you are very experienced traveler you won’t be impressed by food… in my opinion it was a lot of food but at the same time there is nothing to choose. Dinners were not good at all. I think a lot of stuff need to be trained more, they don’t know how to listen and I had a hard time with them all the time.

What a great hotel. From the staff at reception, breakfast and anywhere else the care and attention could not be bettered. We have stayed in Tenerife many times, always choosing a different hotel. Next time we will be returning to this one.
