Thé property and location itself are amazing!

Thé marrasses were too firm, not comfortable for me

The special location, a very well maintained hotel. Staff is friendly and efficient. The views are breathtaking, and a walk around the property is a must. Short drive to the town, were more bars and restaurants are available.

The carpets in the corridors need replacement.

It is a Lovely Castle , 2 hours away from Barcelona. The rooms are clean and the view from the castle is superb. Try room number 712 - I've heard some interesting spooky stories about this one.

The walk from the Cardona town to the Castle can be tiring (best to have a car or book a taxi) , especially if you are walking around with stroller bags. The food can be expensive, but there are many cheap options in the town square. There is nothing much to do in Cardona except for the castle and visiting the salt mine.

Breakfast was lovely but the staff need to provide milk at the coffee area so you don’t have to find them and ask them for it as they are super busy.

The rooms need a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. Some guests get up early and like a coffee or tea before the breakfast area opens. Or maybe a coffee and tea making area in each floor. Thanks.

Bedroom was a bit pokey and located along a smelly hallway.

Ideal Castle atop Cardona, rich in history and beautiful ambience with great Restaurant ! Our suite was spacious, clean and ever so comfortable !

Long and difficult walk to the reception from the town

It is an ancient castle, so furniture and decoration are acordingly. The room was espacious, very clean. Bathroom very big and modern. We enjoyed the magic of beeing in a very special place

Few parking lot space. We had to park a bit further away, which is not that much except for the fact that we were with our parents who are 80 years old, and had difficulties to arrive

Enjoyed our stay -however - Showing wear and tear - not luxurious by any means! Service also needs a little attention

Only stayed one night. All excellent. One slight problem - when we arrived it was raining and couldn’t find front door . Additional signage suggested!!

Not hotel’s problem, but GPS had trouble with location.

The fact that it is a historical building

The carpets were disgustingly filthy. The restaurant was poor value for money and also short staffed. Had to wait almost 45 mins to get served, then they forgot our wine.
