We were there to look at the fortifications of Ceuta. As it turned out, the hotel grounds formed part of the fortifications. This was what was special for us - although we suspect that most visitors might not notice, as some elements were far from well advertised. It is within easy walking distance of the ferry terminal and the main bits of Ceuta.

Opening times for the swimming pool were a bit too restrictive for us.

The room was spacious and comfortable.

Neither my phone or iPad would connect to the hotel’s WiFi, so I had to rely on my mobile phone signal…

Conveniently located. The staff was accommodating and volunteered early check-in which was nice!

I was planning to work remotely from the hotel but wifi didn’t work during my whole staying. I reported the issue but they didn’t take care of it. TV didn’t work either. View from the room wasn’t as described as mine was overlooking the Parking.

Excellent central location - cafes across street, walking distance to everything in center of town, a few minutes walk to buses traveling outside central area.

Breakfast: they serve ham without asking customers their dietary preferences . The coffee machine isn't great.

The location is excellent. The staff is friendly and helpful. The parking space provided is a major advantage. We had a wonderful stay.

Everything was great.

The stay was nice and calm. Very well located and closer to everything. The only bad Thing was the instrument at the reception was not allowed to play.

We went to this property to have a nice time and play the piano somehow as I am pianist, but it wasn't allowed. Next time we expected too much and it wasn't possible. Hope you guys tune and allow you to enjoy the instrument and not leave it as furniture only. Many thanks

The location of the hotel is great, just at the edge of the old town. The rooms themselves are quite spacious and it was very clean during our stay. Beds were big and very comfortable. The swimming pool area is very nice and quiet place to relax, although it's not usable after checkout as far as we could see as you need to rent a towel and then return it at checkout

The room faced the car park and looks nothing like the pictures. Everything around the hotel is very dated and looks like a East German government office. Check-in was abysmal, they had a wedding party so lots of people checking in - and they knew this - but only one receptionist going at snails pace. 45minutes waiting in the queue to be checked in is awful service. There were other staff mooching about but didn't seem to want to help. Also, the door is locked during the night for security which is fine but then the security guard was badly behaved as clearly was irritated to be moved from his office watching TV to open the door so gave us quite a bit of a sassy attitude. Room key is a gigantic wooden thing and not a keycard so they can't give you more than one. Not a Parador experience, just an OK hotel which slightly bad service.

The female receptionist was nice. The older males are ready for retirement.

Nice hotel but I feel a little over priced.

Very close to ferry port, and nice swimming pool. Some other atractions are close by.

A little bit of renovation at the bathroom would be nice.
