Room was excellent. Breakfast was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is a bit off the beaten track, but it is worth the effort.

This was best place we stayed on the ‘King Alfred’s Way’ by far. Really excellent room, great food, and superb staff. There were locked facilities for the bikes. It was a perfect overnight stay - wish it could have been longer.

The single Room was dark, small and not worth the asking price; too much money for too little. there was no breakfast to speak of at 9 a.m. except granola! Or toast!

The Staff were fantastic as soon as we arrived. The room was really nice, we stayed in one of the suites. Bathroom was great. We had food at the pub and it was very tasty. We enjoyed it so much we have booked another night there. Plenty of parking for the hotel.

When we arrived the windows to our room were wide open and it was freezing. Struggled to warm the room up after that.

All the staff were absolutely excellent and couldn’t do enough for us. A very nice room with plenty of space and also spotlessly clean. we will certainly return if we are in the Farnham area.

My visit began with a really helpful chat with a charming manager at reception who explained everything I needed to know. Tilly (my dog) was made very welcome by everyone. The dog-friendly, ground floor room (9) I was given was superb, very clean, large, and welcoming. The bathroom offered hand gel and cream, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, which is always a plus for me. Everything is very well kept and cared for. Staff are lovely, very friendly and genuinely helpful. The outside grounds have lots of seating when the weather is good and plenty of parking spaces. Food and service in the bar was very good. This is somewhere I really want to return to.

Breakfast service was a little slow, but lots of choice. Room servicing staff said they hadn't been told Tilly (my dog) was staying, but she was given a little bag of treats as we left, which made her very happy. The bed was a bit lumpy so not the most comfortable night's sleep, hopefully the mattress will be changed before I return. :-) I would have preferred a walk-in shower to a bath/shower combination, but that is a minor quibble and I understand there are walk-in showers on the first floor, but I preferred a ground floor room with Tilly. Overall, these are very minor dislikes and wouldn't put me off staying again and again ...
