Spacious free car park, good location close to motorway, very good sized room. We used the restaurant and the food quality was good. Drinks however we thought expensive. The spa/pool facility looked popular although we did not use this. The staff were very reactive. Perfect for a short stay.

The reception area is small for a hotel of this size. No staff present at check out.

The restaurant staff and ground keeping staff were fantastic, the grounds keepers went above and beyond to help us when we had an issue with transport the following day. The room staff were also great and we had an excellent service. The breakfast was also excellent.

The rooms could have been a little more modern and brighter, they don't necessarily match the modern pictures, but that is a personal taste.

Not knowing the hotel we found the room was a long way from the dining room/reception.

My Junior Suite was great to have some extra space! Where I was in the hotel was quiet - which surprised me as there was a wedding on!

It's a little tired in places - but I think they are making improvements. Didn't like it being a "buffet" breakfast but you have to ask for everything! If course you don't!!!!!

We both thought the room was clean and comfy we slept well in the bed and liked the sofa, desk and chair and also you can get milk and filtered water from the dispensers in the corridor and there is a mini fridge with glass bottles which is a nice touch, and it has a coffee machine with coffee pods.

The shower was a bit hard to use. the control was hard to move so it was either loads of pressure on but cold or hardly any pressure but hot

Spa facilities were great, excellent gym and studio space too. The gym was kitted out with high spec technogym equipment. Bedroom was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The shower is powerful - possibly even too powerful. Location is really well situated for exploring Portsmouth, Southampton and Winchester and there are many local surrounding pubs to explore.

Breakfast is of good quality (continental and full English options cooked to order) but slightly expensive for what it is. Spa can become quite busy at times.

Room was spacious and well furnished with room to work and sleep. Bathroom shower was excellent, which is always a good thing. Dinner and breakfast were excellent as well - good diverse menu. All staff were courteous and attentive

Swimming pool and Spa

That we had to pay extra to use the swimming pool. The room looked very tired, especially the bathroom.

The room was quiet and comfortable. Beds were small but cosy. We have booked a family room for more space and that was a good idea. The family room is very good for 2 people. Kudoz to the reception staff (for dealing promptly with the unfortunate technical issue in our room) and the restaurant staff for making us feel really welcomed when we had dinner!

When we arrived the assigned room was cold and the the thermo control not working. Receptionists could see that on a control panel in their back office, but still gave us that room. Eventually, after we complained and threatened to go elsewhere, we've been given a similar room with working heating and everything was fine. The swimming pool was over crowded, could not find a sit to pose our towels. Sofas in the lounge area were stained and tatty. Internet in room was very slow and instable. I had a Zoom meeting in the morning and had to switch to my phone hotspot.

I liked the provided robes and slippers. I also enjoyed the decor and cleanliness.
