Room was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was a nice addition. Location was good.
Had to pay for parking.

Spacious room. Comfy Bed. We used the pool, Jacuzzi, Steam room and Sauna. The Jacuzzi was excellent, hot and deep. The steam room and sauna were also good. The pool was warm enough, but not particularly deep. Okay to swim a few lengths though. At breakfast, the quality of the ingredients was variable (see below). The ham was outstanding, coffee was great, cucumber, bread, scrambled eggs, bacon and beans all good. We didn't try the fruit. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
As said the quality of some of the breakfast items was variable. We didn't think the sausages and hash browns were very good, neither were the tomatoes. The floor of the mens pool changing room was dirty. We only had de-caff coffee in our room. The booking-in process was very slow. It seemed like the staff had to enter loads of info. As we had signed up to the Hilton app, I'm sure a lot of the info was being needlessly duplicated. We went for a digital key. This didn't work when we tried to get it (hence why we had to sign in), apparently because the room wasn't ready but the app didn't make this clear. None of these were deal-breakers though, just a few little things that could be improved. We felt it was quite expensive but it was a Saturday night and every hotel in Bristol is expensive on a Sat!

Location was good & facilities with swimming pool was great
There was a broken light switch in our room which we reported when discovered. Someone came to try and fix it at 930pm however my daughter had already poked her finger in the hole where the switch should have been where wires could be felt. The member of staff was unable to fix it and even got an electric shock when trying. He said he would call maintenance but had no idea how long it would take or if it could be fixed. Because we were with children we didn’t want to wait late into the night to get it fixed, we asked not to be disturbed past 1015pm, however nobody came in the time frame to fix the problem. We therefore had to sleep with the light on all night.
The bathroom was dirty with thick black hair left in the plug hole and dirty marks on the bath and toilet.

Easy to park. Location was good. Decor was nice. Size of rooms good
Would have liked more noticeable car charger with clearer instructions 😊

Friendly staff, nice swimming pool.
The poor layout of the distance between bedrooms for our disabled gent and my room . Staff said the hotel was full and we couldn’t change rooms. It made it very difficult for me to look after him . They should have rang me and given me the option to cancel my booking (which I would have) had I had known my room was so far away from his.He is a vulnerable adult with a learning disability and he was frightened which I pointed out to the staff. No excuses!!

3.5
Friendly staff and lovely, spacious modern room.
3.5
I liked the access to the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The reception area was also nice.
The room itself was very plain for a ‘Hilton’. The air conditioning didn’t work and the bed was terrible. We didn’t sleep for the 2 nights we were there. Also £17 for a breakfast was ridiculous!!
3.5
Friendly reception staff, good facilities in the room. Very clean and quiet.
Bed felt like it needed a new mattress otherwise everything was great.,
3.5
Nothing
Nothing clean, very old , bathrooms were shabby and very old, carpet looked dirty, no lift so I have to pick up my bag to the first floor where my room was.
3.5
Room size was good.
Very little tea and coffee provided, bed slightly uncomfortable and hard, no mini fridge to cool own milk, bedside light was broken and there was no main light.

Welcome cookies: a nice touch!
room; upgrade was lovely and included coffee machine which was very much appreciated. Bed was extremely comfortable.
Location was extremely convenient for us coming from the north. And attending an event in the hotel. Only a shame we weren't early enough to fully enjoy the facilities ie didn't make it to the pool!
Temperature control in the room wasn't responsive so it was a little chilly!
No gluten free option of the welcome cookie!

The Beds were very comfortable and the Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The Hotel overall was exactly what we were looking for, comfortable, clean and affordable. I will absolutely return in future
It would have been good to have a small mini fridge to chill drinks and the robes are fairly small but otherwise great
3.5
Breakfast was good, staff were good in the restaurant.
Room was a bit ‘tired’, no bottles of drinking water in room whereas others did have them.

Friendly and professional staff, pleasant outdoor area, felt like a more upmarket hotel than the price suggests
Parking is quite expensive but cheaper than city centre
3.5
Very close to Bristol City Centre. Had the features of city hotel like restaurant , pool etc
Heating did not work in the room. Was given to us portable heaters but it was still cold in the night.

The bed was extremely squeaky and the staff upon arrival seemed very flustered and felt like we were a convenience.

It’s very bland and lack lustre. Rooms are rather sterile

Whole night there was a situation going on right next to our room which did not let us sleep

Restaurant staff
Rude receptionist male when we first tried to check in others being checked in but told us we were too early no flannels in the bathroom toilet situated behind bathroom door uncomfortable to use only 2 towels to use smell of weed along corridors placed upstairs on the opposite side of the hotel even though on check in was told.its just a short walk breakfast at 17 pound each standard buffet car park becomes full very quick bed very uncomfortable check out wasnt until 12 but had a knock on the door at 9 wanting to clean the room even though check in isnt until 3pm doors banging through the night even though we was at the send of the hotel overall bad stay wont be booking again
3.5
Staff were incredible.
Food was microwaved, wine was corked, room was freezing, sockets in the room tripped, sauna was broken and you had to pay extra to use the pool. View from the window was of an unkept courtyard with a mouldy old bin below the window. Paid for a deluxe king room with extra large bed which was actually two beds pushed together with an uncomfortable crack down the middle!
3.5
Comfortable bed. Restaurant fine, but overpriced. Most staff tried to be helpful.
Total incompetence at reception. Confusion over booking, daughter had to show a bank statement to prove payment. Had to pay for parking. No info about cost of parking or swimming prior to arrival. Automatic service charge on restaurant bill . Wait of 45 mins for food, despite near- empty restaurant. Extractor fans in 2 neighbouring rooms didn't work. Impossible to turn room heating down below 24. Room not ready on arrival, card key not enabled for 2 night stay requiring yet another trudge to reception.
Very disappointed.

There was no table laid up or or anywhere accommodate people with dogs
Dear Reception
On your request we emailed you directly, unfortunately we haven’t heard back which is extremely disappointing.
We have just arrived back from an appalling stay with you, although you tried to resolve this with us at reception, on reflection the stay was so poor we request a refund in total instead of the points offered.
Please allow me to explain!
On arrival at the room (128) having been at the hospital all day we were extremely tired, we ordered room service which was lovely.
1- The floor was covered in stains (yellow) clearly someone or an animal had been sick, along with this the carpet was generally filthy.
2- The bath towel had a faeces stain on it, therefore we did not wish to use the shower owing to the cleanliness.
3- The toilet seat was not fitted correctly so on sitting down you were touching the basin which is hardly appropriate.
4- The air flow in the room was unable to be controlled, therefore we were frozen all night and slept in our clothes.
5- The bed was extremely uncomfortable.
6- On arriving at breakfast we were not allowed in the restaurant itself, this is more understandable from the pet point of view, however, we were just left to think "where do we sit" so we sat in the lounge chairs to eat which was uncomfortable to say the least, trying to reach the table to eat a breakfast was a poor environment and to top it off the lady came to mop the floor directly where we were eating.
Although you refunded the dog charge and the parking, we feel widely ripped off that we paid £110 for a room which was well below expectations , especially in basic hygiene.
Irrespective of your comments regarding "we should have complained at reception after check in " please may I refer you to the fact we had been at the hospital most the day and should have been able to check in, as we have done at many other Hilton hotels and found the room spotless.
I expect a favourable reply.

The spa.
We were charged for the pool and spa when we weren’t the last time which was disappointing as we were not informed. Also we’re short changed at the bar a couple of times over the weekend.
