The hotel needs a complete renovation. Nothing changed for last 40 years or so. While having breakfast you feel yourself in an eldely home.

Nice room with a balcony overlooking a quiet street just a short block off the riverfront, and not far from the beach boardwalk. The staff are an even better selling point: friendly, endlessly helpful, and completely professional; all of them. I appreciated their excellent advice about restaurants, too.

It was a good value and great location. The beds were comfortable and having a deck was really nice. The staff were friendly and pleasant.
The room could use some updating. There was no shampoo and very little body wash in the dispenser. The shower head holder was broken and there was something wrong with the toilet making flushing a bit tricky. At breakfast they didn't bring out enough food to feed the people waiting so when they would come with more food everyone would line up and it would be gone before everyone got served..

Everybody was nice and kindly. It was easy to find. Room was clean and lift got us to second floor, witch was nice.

My fiancé and I felt the photos on booking were a little misleading with regards to the exact location. They must have used a very good camera lense to take the photo shown on the front page of the hotel as it is extremely close to the other side of the road.

Wonderful value for money, practical hotel in great location with wonderful staff. Short walk (2 mins) to the lagoon side with lots of wonderful candy striped buildings. Short walk (5 mins) to the magnificent boardwalk on the dunes facing the Atlantic Ocean.

Excellent hotel for an overnight stay in the heart of Costa Nova. Rooms are not very big, but comfortable, they have air conditioning and a large balcony. Breakfast is served in the hotel lobby, there is a small bar. In the evening, if you are cold, you can make tea yourself. Breakfast is good, although a little more modest than before.
In Costa Nova, at the end of September (last week of September I guess), a city festival is held in honor of Nossa Senhora da Saúde. These days, concerts and children's entertainment programs are held on the square by the river. Everything is fine, but sometimes it makes it very difficult to sleep even with the windows closed. Get ready to stock up on earplugs! ;-)

Clean, comfortable room with good bathroom and a nice terrace. Good public areas. The lift was handy for moving our luggage in and out. On site parking was at extra cost. We used free public parking less than 100m away. Good buffet style continental breakfast. Beach close by.
This is no reflection on the hotel at all but the fish market was close by and there was a certain aroma at some times of the day but this was only noticeable out on the terrace and was not present all day

Breakfast was basic continental style. The location of hotel was good and there was plenty of free parking on the next street. It was also handy for travelling by car to Barra and Aveiro. Any travellers must visit Aveiro with it’s canal gondolas.
