The showers would go hot and cold very quickly and the shower stalls also leaked and wet the bathroom. Food options extremely limited and thus we ended up going out for every meal barring breakfast

It was a nice place.

I paid over $100 extra for a spa and upgraded bath. Spa was dirty, could not use it. Bath had hair in it, bubbles and jets did work, plug in bath would not undo and drain. music features did not work. Staff refunded us $50 which i thought was disappointing and unacceptable as i paid a lot more to get upgrade that we could not use. very poor. Breakfast was good but there were no larvae plates when we got in so we had to get a few small plates which was an inconvenience and we looked like idiots.

Loved the outlay the views too!

Pretty disappointed to have to wait past check in time for our room to be ready then when it was ready we were missing a lot of amenities that were listed The outdoor light by the spa wasn't working meaning I couldn't use the spa after dark

Beautiful, spacious room with a fireplace and stunning views out over the mountains. Very opulent feel to the venue. A real treat to relax and unwind in. Very friendly and accomodating staff.

Spacious room, comfortable bed and good spa bath. Private location. The place has great potential and I generally enjoyed the stay, but is let down by a few points considering the price of one night’s stay.

The robes we were given in our room must be quite a few years old and have been through the wash a lot, they weren’t really fitting with the luxurious theme. The outdoor hot tub could’ve been better - the jets only seemed to work on one side, and it was leaking on the patio. Nice big high pressured shower, but it seems the pressure was too much for one of the heads as it kept flying up in the air. We ordered fish & chips from the restaurant and for $38 you don’t really get a lot of fish! When we arrived at breakfast, there was nothing left and was about a 15 minute wait to restock things, by which point we’d got bored of waiting and just had toast on its own and left.

The room was beautiful. The bed was really comfortable.

In the corridors it was very cold, also in the dining room when having breaks.

The room was large, and there was a great view of the mountains. The bathroom of our superior room was large with a double jacuzzi and shower. The staff were amazing and worked really hard. Special mention to Abu who worked hard in the restaurant and bar and made an excellent pina colada and also the the man on reception who worked well beyond his official time when needed. All the staff were really attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We'd highly recommend this hotel!

Comfortable bedding and cleanness. Staff were friendly and breakfast was decent.

The outdoor spa wasn't working for one of the rooms we booked, which was disappointing. The gym was outdated, and dinner was expensive compared to its overall value. The Netflix was not working for one of the rooms.

The room was excellent very spacious, loved it. the young man in the bar and restaurant was exceptional ,always smiling and really helpful. Certainly made for a very pleasant stay.

Expensive for quite an average experience. Was offered an upgrade which I regret as was an extra $300. The accessible spa suite was in a corner of the property. A lovely big space but didn’t give the magnificent view it suggested unless you were in the very tired out door spa that was pushed in the corner of the outdoor space. The outdoor furniture was tired and rickety. Breakfast was average and really not worth it. Didn’t try the evening dining due to the breakfast being below par.

Loved the huge rooms, with magnificent views looking towards Hanmer Springs and mountains. Very private outlook from our room. Very comfortable bed. Lovely large enclosed shower. Not that we used them but indoor and outdoor spa’s and big open fire place add to luxury feel.

Our room 10, aircon wasn’t working, we arrived to a stinking hot room with floor fan blowing on max. Reported it but nothing done. Nice food from their restaurant but lacks atmosphere.

Absolutely stunning location! Private and easy to access.. large sized room, bed was huge and so comfortable, who doesn't love crisp clean sheets! Fan of the triple sheeting too! Bathroom was gorgeous and spacious, all linen was clean, and neatly tidy. The outside spa was warm and all ready for us to get in, and came with nice luxurious robes also. The view from the room was gorgeous and had my hubby loving Every minute of the location! Staff were very friendly and helpful.. It was a perfect location for a night away...

I was gutted when i noticed it Wasn't very clean, dead flies everywhere, dust behind beside tables and skirting boards. Glass wall in bathroom next to the spa was dirty and hadn't been cleaned very well. Crumbs in couch, and nearly fell over the uneven mat that leads out side to court yard. Lots of hand marks all over the glass fence in court yard also which was very visible when sitting in spa. Only had x2 coffee sachets in the condiments in our room and there were none on the cart out side our door in corridor, I'm glad we took our own coffee. Lawns were long and gardens all over grown. Over all tidiness and cleanliness was very average and that's not just in our room, corridors were dusty and dead flies around. Also half a bottle of Chardonay wine had been left in our fridge which was OLD and OFF so had to let them know, making sure I wasn't being charged for it.. Over all, For the price I paid I was expecting luxury when really all I got was a good night sleep. But the hubby loved it all and that's the main thing really because it was his bday surprise!

Was a Lovely room, with a comfy bed, nice view outside, Enjoyed our spa inside, didn’t use the outdoor one as was raining. However, we had to clean our inside spa ourselves before using it As brown rusty flakes were floating all through after full up. There was no staff available for 2 days to assist due to staff shortages. We did enjoy our stay though.

The on-site Restaurant was closed both days we were there for ALL meals, which we were made aware of beforehand. However what was frustrating was that there is no microwave, bowls, cutlery etc, to make our own meals, (I have noticed alot of other people have also mentioned this in their reviews) Which is fine if the restaurant is going, There is a fridge and tea and coffee and a jug, you have to use the bathroom water to fill up. If the restaurant being Closed is an ongoing thing, Can I suggest putting mini kitchens in with microwave and drawers With plates, bowls, cutlery etc. I do have sympathy though as I know these days are hard due to Covid. .

Restaurant meal let the place down. Both our meats ( beef and lamb) were way over cooked. Unfortunately we were on a schedule so didn't have time to send it back to be redone.

They cancelled all mid-week bookings only 4 days before hand which made it very difficult to find accommodation that wasn't highly priced due to lateness. Different small details were lacking - it seemed tired. No longer 5 star. Restaurant and breakfast were no longer available even though we had booked that over a month in advance.

they didn’t have a dinner service and our spa pool was coldish

It was our anniversary and we were upgraded which was much appreciated.

The decor is very dated and it made the place look very tired.
