great location, nice suite

Rooms were nice and clean, view was beautiful.

I thought there would be balcony, but it was French balcony.

The area is great for hiking, very quiet, in the nature. The view is stunning. The hotel is very clean, the bathroom was renovated and big, the room (Captain suite) is spacious and the staff is friendly.

We had the captain suite, that had two separate mattresses in one bed, and two separate blankets for each one of us that were really small, not wide at all, definitely made for a single bed and not to put two of them on a queen size bed. We asked for a bigger blanket but they told us that they did have big blankets, but they did not have a blanket cover. Therefore we did not sleep very good, as with every turn, half the body was in the cold. The breakfast the first day was not the best (eggs and bacon were cold), but the second day (Saturday) they were fresh. Wifi was not working properly at all, the signal was not good. The hotel has a spa that is said to be for free for guests, however only the sauna was working. The steam bath was not working and you also had to pay for the solarium that they advertise.

Good location over looking the water. Plenty of parking, very modern hotel with very helpful staff. Plenty of walking in the near vicinity, with boat trips also available. Very good breakfast with top rated restaurant also available.

Nothing too not like....

Room was clean and perfect for our needs. The balcony provided a lovely view. Next time we would ask for a room with a different view - more of the lake. Everything was great. Breakfast was okay. The grounds and surrounding area are fantastic! We want to come back next year.

There was no air conditioning, which wasn't a huge deal, but could have been. There's no screen on the balcony door - again no issue, but could be at a different time of year. The towels are threadbare.

Friendly staff, nice room with a beautiful view of the lake Rursee, good facilities and plenty of options for breakfast.

Unfortunately, the rooms were mentioned to be equipped with a minibar, which was missing! Or when a refrigerator was brought to keep our early check-out package (thank you and we appreciate it), it didn't work

Lady at the receiption was very nice and accomodating. Gave us lots of information. We were there low season in March so it was really quiet. We had a balcony on which you could sea the lake, which was also visible from the bed. It was gorgeous bc we had great weather too. Breakfast buffett was diverse and tasted great too. We were very happy.

The location is absolutely stunning! It’s the only hotel on the lake. Great for hiking, the nearby town is cute, parking was free and right in front of the hotel. Inside everything is modern yet not a cold atmosphere. Staff was nice. And it’s very dog friendly, they even give your dog a blanket to sleep on :)

A few kids were running around very late making quite a bit of noise for a few hours. But not a big problem.

We had the Captain's cabine with separate living room and view to the lake. Very nice!

The sofa and two chairs in the living room where rather hard to zit on.

We went to Der Seehof in October and the surrounding Eifel National Park looked amazing with all the autumn colours. The hotel is in a great location with terrific views. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff very freindly
