The pool, sauna and hammam are good. I also enjoyed quiet hours from noon to 4 p.m. when children are not welcomed in the pool. Having the kids club is a very good option for parents who need some private time.

Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable. Very good breakfast with lots of choice. Staff were very helpful and friendly and you really felt welcome. Nice bar area and lounge with chess board, scrabble, etc. I had no idea about the navette, this was nowhere on the website or in the instructions. You are able to phone ahead and book the black minibus so that it takes you from the boat station or train station to the hotel (and back) for free.

Pool area was very busy, but this was the weekend. Basically Swiss prices for hotel and breakfast. We ate at La Table restaurant: the service was superb but the food was not really 100% up to scratch, e.g. filet de perche not hot enough. But we were celebrating a birthday and the cake was wonderful and we got free champagne.

Restaurant is nice, but the food was too pricy for the quality and the wine selection was bad. The 30€ breakfast per adult is way too expensive

The hotel has a very relaxed, welcoming “feel at home” vibe. Our lakeview room was spacious and the view was worth the extra money.

Sauna is tiny - and that’s already an exaggeration. There is no place to really relax after a sauna round - around the pool it’s way too noisy and crowded. At breakfast, made-to-order eggs would be expected at this level. If they would have been available, it wasn’t clear at all.

The ermitage hotel makes obvious the difference between very good and outstanding. The hotel is an oasis of quiet, of selected, comfortable furniture, beautiful decoration and surroundings, and polite and highly attentive staff. Nothing is overstated, yet it is both elegant and cosy.

The hotel is beautiful and has a big green territory where it’s very nice to walk. It is also possible to visit a nearby 5 star resort, so the walk was very pleasant. Dogs are welcome for an additional cost, even a mat and boles for food and water were provided - very sweet! Food is very good, especially the Sunday brunch! Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel offers valet services and free outdoor parking.

In the beginning of January the outdoor pool was closed. Indoor spa is quite small. I went during open hours but the sauna was already turned off around 19pm. The hotel has a lovely piano bar but musicians are only invited during school holidays. So even though there were many guests on Saturday, there was unfortunately no concert. The TV in the room was working very poorly, image was constantly breaking. Even though the room was cleaned every day, the little piece of dust in the corner stayed throughout our whole trip.

There were a lot of different choices, from fish to eggs, cheese and pastries.

€30 per person a bit overpriced. I would strongly recommend to often update the information on restaurant in the tablet available in the rooms. We booked one dinner at the restaurant based on the menu in the tablet. When we went to the restaurant the menu was completely different. This was unexpected and disappointing.🤔

it’s gets very crowded with kids at the pool so sometimes it’s impossible to swim there or to relax by the pool because of all the jumping and screaming by kids. would be great if you could introduce kids free hours when adult can relax as this is a spa hotel

- clean modern rooms , it seems to be renovated recently - very attentive staff at the reception and restaurant - nice comfortable beds - beautiful nature settings and nice spa - the lady at the spa confused our treatment but the spa manager made it all good to us so we could still be very happy about our experience at the hotel

- it’s too pity they no longer have a room when you can relax and lie down after massage. Also in the past they used to have some tea for the visitors in the spa. would be great to have it back.

Absolutely nothing

The room was very spacious for two adults, a 4 year old and a baby. The view from the balcony was excellent. WE LOVED the pool. Our children were treated so well - they even prepared a robe for our 4 year old daughter and 9 months old baby. Everything was super clean. Thank you so much!

I tried to iron my clothes but the iron was very old and it did not iron even the simplest shirts. I had to pay for ironing service. At least a small hand steamer would be a much nicer option. I really recommend the hotel to switch to a regular baby crib because it was really difficult to use the one you had.

Extraordinary hotel, a timeless classic. You are always guaranteed to come back well rested and satisfied. Their kids club is one of the best in Europe and they are flexible with the food ( in room, restaurant, bar) with plenty of qualitative variety and options for adults and kids. Absolutely clean and dedicated staff as always.

I always return to this property, and each time, they surprise me and completely satisfy my expectations. They have excellent food and activities for kids. Top clean (thank you cleaners and sandrine !) and well located with a lake view from the outdoor pool, restaurants and some rooms. Stunning garden extremely well curated. Delicious breakfast (thank you team!). Cocooning and care at every corner. Lovely adorable staff.

The hotel is beautiful. We got an upgrade, and benefited from a Lake view. The day was spectacular, so we did enjoy a lot our stay. We enjoyed the facilities, played pool, had some drinks at the bar and went for a walk on the premises. Room service dinner was great, delicious.

We did not book dinner in advance, and it was full. So we need to plan better for next time.

Beautiful place, room, pool and gardens were fantastic.

Breakfast was bad for 30 euro each, cold scrambled eggs, bacon was not cooked enough, cold buffet was limited etc etc. had far superior breakfast in 2 star hotels included in the room price. Only went one time as it was so poor.

A lot of noise coming from the street between the 2 hotels at night. Also that we could not book at the Royal Gastro restaurant as we were not guest. I do understand Covid restrictions but its part of the same group and moreover same place.
