There was bearly nothing healthy there, and we couldn‘t even choose the time we wanted to have breakfast

The location is nice with the ferries and main train station as next door neighbors. If you include the breakfast, the breakfast is nice and worth it. Nice harbor view from the room.

The beds are very hard and somewhat uncomfortable. The hotel lacks aircondition, so on hot days it is better to stay outside. The elevators are located far away from some of the rooms.

I liked almost everything about it, and it will be much better if the room would be little bit bigger, or it provides family rooms

We liked the cleanliness of our room.

There was no option of even getting a cup of coffee. The bar was closed. Actually one reason why we chose the hotel was the option of having a refreshment in the bar. We think it would have been appropriate to offer free coffee in the room as compensation as it is standard almost every where else in the world. Worse though was that horrendous drilling noises in the hotel or neighbour building woke us abruptly early in the mornings of our three days stay. The drilling was going on through the day, therefore it was better to be out. No reason to be in if you can't have a drink anyway. Breakfast was nice and ample but we missed some fish options which we expected considering that Kiel has a big port. Not convinced that breakfast was worth €16 per person.

I like how clean it is and the frontdesk guy was friendly and speaks english. I originally booked for 2 standard beds not knowing they're separated(coz some hotels in Germany are just joining 2 single beds) so we requested to move to a room with a big bed, and the nice frontdesk granted it. I also like how close it is to the mall and the main train station. The view from the hotel is lovely too. One may also park their car at a nearby parkhaus which costs €7 for 24hrs.

The room is a bit small and the beds too. A renovation would be really nice. The bathroom also has a smell. Maybe because this particular hotel is older compared to the other Intercity hotels we've been to.
