Ein absolutes Hindernis sind die sehr mangelhaften Englisch Sprachkenntnisse der Hotel-Mitabeiter. Es gibt kaum eine Kommunikation. Trotz Rauchverbot wird im Hotel geraucht und es riecht unangenehm.

The location was good.

The rooms are rather small and not so clean. My room smelled of smoke… from outside the building looks nice but rooms are disappointing.

Location along the river is picturesque. The room was well designed and provided for all our requirements. The hotel had good soundproofing and we only heard the occasional door banging. A short walk to the metro.

The bed was very firm but still comfortable.

location of the hotel is very convenient and beautiful as well, surrounded with interesting buildings and the riverside areas are good for a walk.

The breakfast was okay, could have more options for international guests, limited items and not offering fresh juices. WiFi network quality is poor. international cuisines restaurant is not open in the evening and only Chinese food restaurant available.

Super nice and comfotable rooms, great location on the Shamiandao island. Stylish entrance hall decorated with New Year's theme.

Lovely room. A good size for the price. Interesting interior design. No grey! Coloured glass shower panel. Great location. Very helpful staff. Not so much English but we all managed. Some interesting objects and antiques in the reception area, showing the history of this hotel. Very good breakfast.

The location was absolutely superb - right on beautiful, historic Shamian island! The front desk staff were excellent - they could speak English and were always friendly, helpful and super polite. And the beds were fabulous!

The hotel finds itself on Shamian Island which is a former European part of Guangzhou, nearby you have 2 metro stations, restaurants, 24 h markets, a shopping mall and a nice cozy Starbucks, The room is above average but satisfying, The staff is friendly and wants to help.

When you enter the hotel you can feel the smell of a freshly done laundry :)))) maybe it is some air refreshment but they need to change it ASAP

We received FABULOUS service from Thomas Tang, Deputy Manager of PR & Sales, who wrapped a large wooden fan we had purchased in Yangshuo which needed to be checked as luggage on our flight. Thomas and one of his staff members made a box from a piece of plastic covered cardboard which was durable for our long flight back to Canada. We had initially planned to leave the hotel in order to find a shipping service. So when Thomas took it into his own hands, we were extremely impressed. He and his staff member should be highly commended for providing such wonderful customer service!!! Thank you Thomas!

There is nothing at this hotel to dislike.
