Everything was just as you would expect. It was very comfortable to stay there and had great access to the beach.

The owner thought of everything we could possibly need for our stay. The home was exactly as described in the listing, but far surpassed my expectations when we visited. The location is so close to the beach, but in a beautiful, quieter neighborhood to foster relaxation and detachment. (Jamaica Beach is so much quieter than Galveston.) The welcoming spirit of the hosts was exemplified in all of the thoughtful touches throughout this beautiful, spacious home. The host communicated with me and I felt very well-cared-for; excellent customer service and care. I loved staying here and I will definitely return.

We stayed the week of spring break and loved the house and the beach access. No Flag trucks blasting music here! It's a family beach with kids and kites and volleyball.

This property is beautiful, well stocked, comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing with family and friends. There is plenty of space for hanging out to play games and it’s close to convenient stores and restaurants. This neighborhood feels safe as well. The beach was very close for walking or driving. It couldn’t have been more perfect for our vacation.

We had such a nice stay here. It’s quiet, has the perfect shaded patio, fenced in yard, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, nice clean bathrooms, and if you have kids they have great toys, books, and games. We had such a great time over the Fourth of July holiday and really appreciate Cindy’s communication and lovely home. Would love to come back someday!

Cloud 9 is our family vacation home tradition during the summer because it is cozy, clean, close to the beach and has the best communication efforts with the owners that we’ve ever experienced. Every age group from 3 years old to 74 has accommodations that make it the ideal vacation. We’ll be back soon

If you want quiet and clean place to stay and just a walk to beach, with a great host then this is the one. Also has a small yard fenced for your pup! What’s not to love.

Beach access was very convenient. We opted to drive the short 2 minutes because we had a ton of beach gear. The rental was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Had a few restaurants nearby, our favorite was a pizza joint. Definitely considering coming back one day.

My kids and spouse and father in law had a great time. Literal quote: “this is the nicest Vrbo we’ve ever been in!” Well-equipped kitchen, great living and dining space. We loved the fenced-in yard for the dog. Easy in, easy out, and plenty of notes of guidance around the house, as well as a great guide for the city.

This is an older house that has been updated inside. It's very clean, neat, and comfortable with adequate amenities. The owners have added some nice touches which reflect the affection they have for the property.
We took our golf cart which made it convenient to get to and from the beach which is about a 10 minute walk from the house.

This is our second time to rent this beach house. We love it! The property is spacious and beautifully decorated. It provides just about everything you could ever need for a perfect vacation. The proximity to the beach is great and the unobstructed view to the water is really nice.

My husband, myself, our son and our dog had a wonderful time staying here. One of the best VRBO’s we’ve stayed at. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Plenty of space for the whole family ,It had everything you needed for a beach getaway. Wonderful outdoor area for dog to run in. So close to outdoor dining. Convenience store, gas station , liquor store right around the corner , super easy access to the beach - we rented a golf cart, which we much more preferred using to go to the beach, rather than our vehicle . Highly recommend. Hope to visit again.

Easy check in, property was spotless!
The house was in a great location and the boys loved the outdoor shower! The view from the deck was great and the beach is a 2 minute drive! Yummy pizza right down the street and easy drive to the Pier and other restaurants! We loved Jamaica Beach! Highly recommend!

The house more than exceeded our expectations. The view from the deck was awesome. Great proximity to the beach. There is a beach that you can drive on less than 2 minutes from the house and then of course the state park beach is a five mintue drive from the property. We used the drive up beach during our stay. Plenty of room and I liked that there was a police presence. I was initially worried about my kids and the fact that there would be cars but there enough space were I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. The owners were super responsive. Overall, this was an excellent experience. I hope we can come back soon.

Best Home Away from Home
We have never been more pleased with a rented home than Cloud 9. Not only is it convenient to the beach, stocked with every need possible- linens kitchenware games- ,and cleaner than my own home —but owned by the nicest people that I have encountered so far. 5 star stay

Great time
House was great, set up for just about any need. Although not on the beach there is a good view of it and a nice breeze. We rented a golf cart to go back and forth to the beach. Worked out great. Owner was great to work with. Only suggestion I would give is a TV in the bunk room since kids would typically be the ones staying in it. Hope to return.

Easy beach access, sometimes we walked, sometimes we drove. Quiet neighborhood in Jamaica Beach away from all of the crowds. Anything you could need is 5 minutes away. The beds were so comfortable, the house was spotless! We enjoyed our evenings watching TV in the living room and breakfast on the deck. The bathrooms were a good size and so were the bedrooms, we were very comfortable. So many extra touches even for our dog! We will absolutely contact our Hostess the next time we head to the beach

Owners are very responsive and understanding. The house is in a good location and is on a quiet street. Plenty of good food right there. You’re close enough to town without all the crowds. West pizza was great. The beds are comfy and the kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. The house has everything you need to have a fun stay, but could use a little upkeep. In particular the deck railing is loose upstairs.

Great Stay!
The description of the home is accurately listed. The house was very clean, was very well stocked, there were nice things like games, movies, several options for watching tv, Plenty of linens, well stocked kitchen including 2 types of coffee makers and coffee options. You literally only had to bring g yourself, clothing and food! Communication with the owner was easy & fast responses!! We had one thing come up that we need help with (it wasn’t a big deal) but she was quick to call me and help us figure it out! Even though the house is not located on the beach front we found the location to be conveniently located right across the street which made going to the beach with our supplies easy, you could walk there but with supplies I recommend driving since you have to cross the main road. Thank you for a great stay!

It is the perfect getaway that offers a close distance beach location with every accommodation possible. Clean, well decorated and comfortable don’t do justice to this special “home”. The communication was flawless

Cute beach bungalow with great amenities! The location is just down the road from Galveston and a few blocks to the beach. Several area restaurants close by were good. Nice place to get away!

Beds were comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked. Pleasant walk to the beach. Added bonus: the Jamaica Beach is next to a state park, so you can easily access a stretch of beach where cars cannot drive. Dog treats and beach towels were a nice touch.

Rhiannon moves out of the dorm to her 1st apartment
We really liked the layout and decorations. Very nice stuff and it has all the bells and whistles. Nice view of the gulf beach from the porch and master bedroom. Had to get in the car to get to the beach but not a big deal but will be a factor on future stays if othe properities on the beach are available. We have rented similar nice properties across the road but they were not available since i waited to the last minute to make a reservation. Would definitely recommend the property to others for a nice relaxing beach house experience. Thanks. JSN
